This is good for some people and not good for others, lets hear some opinions and see what kind of head count we can get.Just great I work friday nights, guess I'll have to learn how to race on carpet now. Oh forgot I have to learn how run outdoors at Triclone. Oh by the way how did you like the clown picture...heheheheheh haysreeling 09-21-2004, 11:57 PM Just wanted to thank Dave Jansen and everyone else at the midwest triclone for an absolutely awesome year of racing at one of the coolest tracks in the country. There may not have been the huge crowds but i know the people that came had a great time, especially afterwards at the "trophy presentations" heheheh. This summer was the most fun I have ever had playing with these stupid little cars. Thanks again. Hays JR cupdriver 09-22-2004, 04:05 PM Hays want to thank you for all your help and being part of great season of racing, everyone that took part this year made as great as it was. Again thanks everyone. chuck47 09-22-2004, 07:56 PM Daves and all concerned I had a great time the past two races, Nationals and Region 5 races I just wish I could make it more often, well maybe next summer hey, good luck on the carpet. chuck47 09-22-2004, 08:00 PM By the way Lloyd my dyno works just fine so I'm not sure why it wouldn't dork right at the races. Oh well. cupdriver 09-27-2004, 12:29 AM Warning the following post maybe bad for your state mind. :p Driver of The Week (http://triclone.net/weeklydriver/victorylanebrucegayhart.jpg) AJS 09-27-2004, 10:22 AM Oh My Goodness, what a picture. That should scare off any unwanted creatures. Good Season Bruce. Hope to get to race with you some this winter. Barooose 09-27-2004, 04:37 PM Man they should put up a warning before allowing people to see that guy. L.O.L. A.J.S. see you at Scotty's for the "Leftover", Now known as the "Jim Wick Classic" I think. AJS 09-27-2004, 06:42 PM Sorry, I can't make the leftover classic this year (or the Jim Wick), I have family obligations in Ohio. But I'm going to try and make it over for one of the Saturday shows. After talking with Scotty at Triclone, he said something about a large race in February, If you hear anything about that, let us know. Later, AJ cupdriver 09-27-2004, 07:45 PM Man they should put up a warning before allowing people to see that guy. L.O.L. Warning now up. cupdriver 09-28-2004, 02:59 AM MidWest TriClone Champions (http://triclone.net/nationalchampions.htm) Barooose 09-28-2004, 01:32 PM I just wanted to take a few minutes to thank all the great people who make the Triclone such an excellent place to race. First Dave Jansen for his world renowned culinary skills to give us the strength required to race at an optimum level on this demanding trioval. He is also the one person who has done more actual work keeping this track going than any one else.Dave has a rather macbre sense of humor, such as leaving an MVP and a roll of fly paper in my pits. Next is Bob Bendixen for always having the track open and dust free whenever anyone needed to come out and test or just play. He also could/should teach Sully a thing or two in regards to properly cleaning of the track with the blower and the vacuum. L.O.L. Race director Dennis Wachs, whom it has been my personal mission to drive to the edge of sanity with my constant redundant questions and general harassment. Dennis’s announcing is always improving and he always let’s you know where the crashes are, what the pace is (even after the first 30 seconds) and what your position is. Dave Hilpert, anytime you figure something out, Dave will produce a postulation to prove you wrong, that will leave your head spinning in complete confusion. Then you remember it’s Dave and smack him in the head and all is fine with the universe again. Thanks also to Cupdriver for the very entertaining and informative new Triclone website. On top of all the work these guys put in, the best part is that they are great people and just love to race. Finally a huge thanks to the guy who you rarely see but ultimately controls the fate of this fabulous track. Tom Holtz, the owner. I just hope you realize how much this place means to so many people and how much happiness it’s existence generates. Before I wrap up this rather long winded dissertation, I’d like to say that the people who race here are some of the best people I have ever had the pleasure to meet, much less race against. Yeah-even you old man Hays. L.O.L. Special thanks to Cory and all the others who have helped me enjoy this hobby and get at least half-fast in the process. Thanks again to all. See ya on da rug….. Barooose 09-28-2004, 01:37 PM P.S. Cupdriver. Cory is not the national champ in 19 turn, though he should have been. He won the Novak brushless class and he also won the Region 5, 19 turn championship but he broke a wheel in 19 turn at the nats. Great job on the new website though. We appreciate it alot. cupdriver 09-28-2004, 02:24 PM P.S. Cupdriver. Cory is not the national champ in 19 turn, though he should have been. Regional Results (http://www.triclone.net/roarregionalsresults.htm) haysreeling 10-08-2004, 05:27 PM A good 1st night of Thurs. Oval racing brought an enjoyable night for some, myself being one, and frustrations for others, including the Tri-clone track record holder & reigning Region 5 champ, Mr Bruce Gayhart. The BIG boys ran stock & "learned us stock guys" a lesson. I'm going off the flat spot on my head by these times & finishing orders: Corey Heft TQ'ing @54:02, Hays Jr second about 54:04, Dave Hitz (Winner of 19T A-Main @ Trackside last Sat) about that, Hays Sr 53:03, Bruce, Griffin & Keith were pulling up the rear. After not making the "A" Mr Gayhart lobbied pretty softly for a 7 car main. Good job Bruce, it was fun. The race started by Juniors car locking up & going strait, hate it when that happens. After a couple of laps I lived up to my MO, and hit Mr Gayhart and made his miserable night more miserable, Sorry Bruce.. Dave led Corey by a bit but Corey slowly closed on him as they worked traffic and closed in on me, it was getting real interesting as they finally caught me. Corey waited because he knew what was coming as Dave & I collided, the Iceman calmly drove by for the win. I think Dave was second, Grif was third in a good run, with the rest of slugs @ the end. It was fun racing w/Corey, Dave & Jr, they set the bar a little higher. Also the 7 car main was fun!!!!! Sorry I didn't keep track of the Sportsmen, but I did notice thay did alright. You guys should go to West Bend & Trackside, they have the same class but call it "Cup" Jeez, these reports take a long time. burbs 10-08-2004, 08:13 PM so hays when are u going to bump to stock ... your the sportsman nat champ aint you... ohh thats right im thinking of bruce.. the sportsman regional champ... or wait..maybe im thinking of sumpin else...cant wait to get up to the osh to run,.. i would have been there, but we picked up our new kia last night....now we got a reliable car...hehe for them long road trips... Barooose 10-09-2004, 01:04 PM Blah, blah, blah. L.O.L. When ya comin' up to give us another virtuoso performance of that wind instrument of yours? KIA? Is that a new pan car company? Ebay purchase? Seee ya soon. cupdriver 10-20-2004, 03:22 PM Dave Here are the files you are looking for, I think. If these are not the one you need call me. Awards will be given for summer series according to our "beloved commisioner" Dave Jansen. So everyone come and claim their "trophies" on Dave. Rumors of a Texas Hold-em game after racing are running rampant. I'm sure more trophies will be presented also burbs 10-23-2004, 09:56 PM what a great day of racing.. i had a blast.. here are the results to tel the story... the track also has new wider tinfeild and turns. and is longer.. we figure about 20- 25 extra feet bringing the total to a whopping 140 os so runline.. better then the 117 it was...
