To be clear... when I said "optional" what I meant was is there some way to make it so you could change it at will... like one day, have it on the right and the next day the left... I was thinking of having mounting holes on both sides, and the mount designed in such a way that it would work either way... Even if you had to have two mounts that wouldn't be too bad, but having to have two differnt chassis plates would be somewhat less desireable...

On the first design we had talked about having it universal. The motor mount is machined for a "directional" use only. There would be no way to swap it around. these were things we had talked about. And like I said above the chassis would be too weak in the motor mount area. Just not enough graphite left for any type of support.

The idea for a Left side and a Right side chassis is kool though. Guys running on banked tracks can get a right side and flat carpet guys can get a left side.

Hey Tony,
With the car with all the weight on the left side, when you come out of the corner, does the car want to continue to rotate? My boy Greg and I saw you and the car at the Classic Open. I've driven touring oval for about 2 years. I use a Megatech tc3 conversion. I liked your chassis to move the batteries farther out. Perhaps keeping the heavy electronics on the left. But with all the weight on the left, I think you're not taking advantage of the right side grip. I'd guess motor right, all else left.

I am the "buddy" of burbs. They won't be making it. Tony said that oval chassis will not go into production at all.

Well I sure hate to hear that.It looked as though it would have been the real deal.

Tony said it had to do with increased production costs. It would not be worth it for them to make the chassis, since it would be a limited run (aka not enough profit). Or at least that was what I understand.

I was really looking forward to that chassis too. Since I drive XXXS's I now have $400 worth of TC3 parts I can't use.
