They are racing carpet oval in Columbia MO on Sundays. I'm thinking about staying over Saturday and stopping in Colubia on the way home Sunday.

Also, I stopped at Allen's track today since I was in the neighborhood and it sounds like there is still interest in 4-cell oval.
He is still racing on Sundays. Closed this Sunday.

Those of us in the mid IL area now have an indoor carpet track.

currently we are racing oval on tuesday nights but after the first of the year it should go to friday nights.

I hope to promote a 2 day event in feb or march at this location, hope that all can attend.

We are having a club meeting at the Collinsville ponderosa this Wednesday evening ( 10- 27- 04 ) at 6:00. Just like last time, the room is free as long as everyone pays for a buffet or dinner and leaves a tip. The meeting will be about the building that Gary has found in South Roxana. Want to know more? Have they moved to the new shop yet? i have checked out the website and it said something about moving in mid October. Also, is the new permanent track up and running?

Talked to john at clandra and he said carpet was suppose to go out Monday, but it was 4:45 there time and the truck had not showed up. he said 3....80 ft rolls for sure.

The plan is to work on Sunday and hang the lights. All the wire wil have to be run in conduit.

There is a lot of work to be done before the building will be ready. I don't see any racing for about 4 weeks. Once all the lights are in place, I think heating is going to be some thing we won't be able to do without. That will probably take about 2 weeks.



We have talked about on road and would like for them to race with us but have not heard from any of them except Tony P. and U.



Don’t forget, Work day at the new building Sunday 9:00 we are working on hanging lighting. Conduit will be involved with hanging the lights.

Bring the appropriate tools.

I am working on holding a 2 day race at His n Hers Hobbies in Bloomington, it will be on Jan 8-9. Still gathering sponsors donations for this event. I will attach a flyer for this soon.

We will have a club race this Sunday for all of the people that were club members at the time we closed Pontoon.

Think of this as a "club tuning session".

Don't forget to bring your tools. We will be working on wiring technique and evauluating your skills on A...B or C Level.:thumbsup:

Looks like Sunday will be another work day. Talked to Charlie on Tuesday and he said everything passed inspection and should have power hooked up soon. I wil bring the small propain dragon that I have for a little heat.
