6 days. I was about to go crazy yesterday and today waiting see when I would get to go home. They still think it was a spider bite. Man it sure looks really bad. Arms are all full of holes from the IVs. I have to go to the doctor Tuesday for him to some cleaning. OUCH.

Disapointed in Racing in the land of NASCAR! Everyone in their trailers, hard to get to really know anyone and don't think I want to invest in a trailer and the ac and all the other stuff that goes with it. Think I am going to sell off all my RC stuff, any of you guys interested? Think I will let the guys I really liked racing with have first shot at it all. Need to check some web sites for prices so I dont give it away but let me know if anyone of you all are interested. Have not yet put the KSG on a track. Have the two HD 510's that I just put new Silva shocks on. The turbo 35 and the GFX and a Novak Milenium Pro. Plus the dyno w/laptop, motor lathe w/diamond bit (new bit), tweak scales lots of spare parts, 30 A power supply and a couple of radios. All three of the cars have all the electronics already installed. Heck, I'll even sell my tool box with tools.

Did you guys give up the dirt? Could have used some modified cars last week at Allen's. Bob needed somebody to run with besides the gas trucks. He didn't play well with them.:)

no dads to busy making money to pay for the new car bills....u mean bob is the only electric mod car racer....what happend to every1 else? (besides us)

Me and Bob are the only mod guys at Allen's. Kevin has been going to Jacksonville. Last night at Jacksonville there were 96 cars for an Oval only race.

The Date has been set for the 4th annual Illinois R/C Dirt Nationals, At Jacksonville R/C Speedway, Jacksonville, IL This will be a single day event, on Saturday, July 31, 2004.

With practice starting at 11am., sign-up at 10:30a.m. and racing starting at 1 p.m. Sharp!
We will have separate 1/2hour practice sessions both the oval and off-road.

Only rubber type tires allowed no foams or silicones.

Brushless motors are allowed in all the modified classes.

Oval classes are as follows:
Gas truck oval: any 1/10th 2wd truck stock configuration. With truck body. Any engine .18 or less.

Gas sprint cars: any 1/10th scale sprint car,
any engine .18 or less.

Electric Modified Sprint cars: any 1/10-scale sprinter, any modified electric motor.
Any 6-cell 3300 battery pack.

Modified Oval: any other 2wd gas or electric car. any electric motor and 6 cell 3300 Battery, and any gas engine, .18 or less.

Stock electric Oval: any gearbox 1/10th car or truck. any roar stamped stock motor,

And any 6 cell 3300 battery pack.



Off-Road classes:
Stock Buggy: any roar stamped stock motor, any 6 cell Battery pack.

Stock Truck: Any Roar stamped stock Motor,
any 6-cell 3300 battery.

Modified Off-road (electric): Any motor, any 6 cell 3300 Battery.

Gas truck Off-road: Any 1/10th scale Gas truck, any engine .18 or less.

Monster truck off road: any engine, E-Maxx, limited to12 3300 cells

must use monster truck size tires no buggy tires and wheels



The rain date will be set that night in the event of a rain out.

We are expecting over 150 entrys for this event!!

Bob, I have to work Saturday. What is the ideal square footage for a building? What is the minimum?

Track-36x60=2160 sf 36x70=2520 sf
Pit Space-20x50=1000 sf 20x70=1400 sf

3160 sf to 3920 sf 5000 sf would be great.

I talked to a guy who owns the old Suntrup Ford on St Charles Rock Road. They started a company called "Big Boys Toys". They currently have "extra" space in the garage that we can rent. There are 2 ways we can set up the track--one is permanent around 2 columns-the other is free span, but we would have to roll up the track, nightly. The charge is possibly, $4.00/car or $500/monthly, minimum.
