Allen said us guys running the brushless systems could run seven cells against the brushed guys,maybe that will give us that little extra power,Eugene said he would be running a eight or nine turn motor saturday nite going for 42 laps!!!

Guys , this is a Sad Sad Day. :cry: Tony will be missed. He was fun to race with and great guy to help U around the track. I just talked to Tony for about a hour on Saturday night, and he was looking forward to racing Sunday on the asphalt track at auto zone that he and Chris were running.

Brad, keep us posted.

Visitation will be at the St. Charles Baue Funeral Home at 620 Jefferson St. 4:00-8:00pm Tuesday.
Services will be held in the chapel at Noon on Wednesday.

We have lost a true racer ! A great guy, and a good friend !

Well guys we are up and racing again at AutoZone on Sundays, if there is any interest in doing oval on the parking lot stop by and give some suggestions for setup. We still haven't set a date for the memorial race yet but we want to run oval and road course on that day, they were both Tony's favorite style. I need to know if we can get a pan car around the track there is one spot that the touring cars hop on, but we might be able to get around it. And thanks again guys for making this all a little easier to take.

Man it was a hot one Sunday, went through a 5 gallon jug of water! And a steering knucle.

Chris I think a memorial race is a great thing to have in memory of Tony, But most of the oval guys don't have a oval outside car set up. I was kinda wondering if we could get more people toghther and have a memorial fun day in Tony name at the nascar fun park @ the mills. Not to take the place of the memorial race but in addition to the memorial race.

If anyone else likes the ideal of a Tony Funday throw out some dates and we will make it happen.August 7th 14th 21st all Sundays

All is goog guys we are planning to start putting the carpet down Tuesday and Wednesday afternoon. So bring the carpet cars tomorrow night for some fun. Neal help is welcomed thanks for your support.



We usually start at 6 on Saturday night so come on out.

The carpet will not be glued town for the next couple weeks we are going to see if we need to make anymore inprovements to the floor before we glue so come on out and get some testing done for the winter season because it looks like a good one ahead.

More bad news.
Just heard that Brad Hoehn died last night of a heart attack. This has been one rough summer.
He will be missed dearly. He was one of the hard core RC racers in the area. I got my start racing RCs at Brad's dirt oval in North County way back.

This is truly another bad day. This is just as unbelievable and shocking as Tony's death. Brad was a true racing icon. We are all going to miss Brad.

it has been tough, its been 23 years i have know Brad, started in slot cars way back when, He will be missed.

Kind of hard to find the words. Brad and Tony sure loved to come racing. I like the memory's of the time's we spent racing together and smile. GOD BLESS

One thing for sure, they both loved racing RCs. Both have left us with lots of fond memories.

Lloyd Bradford "Brad" Hoehn, 49, of St. Peters, died Monday (Aug. 1, 2005) of natural causes at Barnes-Jewish St. Peters Hospital.

Mr. Hoehn was a service technician for Thunder Aviation.

Visitation is scheduled from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Stygar Mid Rivers Funeral Home, 5987 Mid Rivers Mall Drive, St. Charles. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be private.

Surviving are two sisters, Amy K. McDonald and Zoe Ann McAfee, both of St. Peters.

Memorial contributions can be made to American Diabetes Association; American Cancer Society or St. Charles County Humane Society in care of Stygar Mid Rivers Funeral Home, 5987 Mid Rivers Mall Drive, St. Charles, Mo. 63301.

Brad will be miss along with tony, I beleive that both these guys were true r.c. racers,their hearts were focus on onroad but they would come oval racing if there no onroad, there were club members. They were happy as long as they had a radio in hand. Guys i will not be able to make on thrus,headed up to iowa to wacth 8 days on sprint car racing , Our prayer are with Brad & Tony , Kevin & Teresa

Well I just read this , go figure my dsl goes down and I miss everything. I will miss Brad and Tony dearly, I have known both of them for over 15 years, and have lots of great memories. racing will just never be the same.

Well guys, Allen wants to know if we want to sell the carpet. Some of us have talked about it already.
One thought was, sell the carpet to Allen, bank the money, if we find another place, buy new carpet.

Guys,I do not have plans for a track this year. So with that in mind, I think that is a better ideal than letting it set in Big's garage and mildew. If we find a place and we get enough people together to race, we can order new carpet again. It only took a week to get it last time.

Lets talk to Allen and give him a price, unless someone is going to step up to the plate, and put together a porgram for the up comming season?

I think that the building from last year, is still available. But if no one is interested in racing there, and you sell the carpet, what should I do with the drivers stand ? If we sell, I'm putting up all my stuff up for sale. If anyone is interested in purchasing something, they should give me a call. Sorry to hear no one is interested in having a track around here with the price of gas these days.

I would like to have someplace close to race at again. Last years place is OK. I don't want to be in charge and neither does Bob. If somebody wants to jump up and run the show, that's fine with me. Maybe Kevin, Randy, Claude, Carl, John, Gary, or Robski? How many people will show up? Is it worth the trouble to have a place for a few guys to race at when it is convienent?
I'm not trying to stir up anything, just stating the facts.
Sorry to hear that you would sell everything and not travel Kevin. We have a lot of fun on the road trips.

Starting August 30th we will go to Tuesday Night On-Road races start at 7pm and Thursday Night Oval racing starting at 7pm and On-Road/ Oval carpet Saturday nights at 6pm.. We will run 3 rounds and mains on all nights

We will be closed Fridays and Sundays will still open at 4pm Mon,Tues,Thurs and noon on Wednesday and Saturday
