A great guy, and a good friend ! chensleyrc 07-10-2005, 10:58 PM Well guys we are up and racing again at AutoZone on Sundays, if there is any interest in doing oval on the parking lot stop by and give some suggestions for setup. We still haven't set a date for the memorial race yet but we want to run oval and road course on that day, they were both Tony's favorite style. I need to know if we can get a pan car around the track there is one spot that the touring cars hop on, but we might be able to get around it. And thanks again guys for making this all a little easier to take. MK Race 07-10-2005, 11:43 PM Sounds good Chris. I can stop by next Sunday. chensleyrc 07-18-2005, 10:08 PM Man it was a hot one Sunday, went through a 5 gallon jug of water! And a steering knucle. Bob W 07-19-2005, 09:10 PM Chris I think a memorial race is a great thing to have in memory of Tony, But most of the oval guys don't have a oval outside car set up. I was kinda wondering if we could get more people toghther and have a memorial fun day in Tony name at the nascar fun park @ the mills. Not to take the place of the memorial race but in addition to the memorial race. If anyone else likes the ideal of a Tony Funday throw out some dates and we will make it happen.August 7th 14th 21st all Sundays C Ya all Bob chensleyrc 07-20-2005, 11:25 PM Sounds good , I still need to see if I am off on one of those dates. I will miss Brad and Tony dearly, I have known both of them for over 15 years, and have lots of great memories. racing will just never be the same. rc widower 08-16-2005, 09:30 PM Hey Guys , just got back want went on sunday , I think I got my fix on racing , please post something , because I'm in the dark about racing I was going to try to make it but everybody know we had a thing called rain up there...... MK Race 08-18-2005, 05:19 PM Well guys, Allen wants to know if we want to sell the carpet. Some of us have talked about it already. One thought was, sell the carpet to Allen, bank the money, if we find another place, buy new carpet. Bob W 08-19-2005, 12:22 AM Mike...let me think about this for just a few minutes....... hmmmmmmmm Ok,Let me get this straight, U mean we can sell the carpet to Allen, and still race on it ? hmmmmmmmmmmmmm OK U twisted my arm Guys,I do not have plans for a track this year. So with that in mind, I think that is a better ideal than letting it set in Big's garage and mildew. If we find a place and we get enough people together to race, we can order new carpet again. It only took a week to get it last time. Lets talk to Allen and give him a price, unless someone is going to step up to the plate, and put together a porgram for the up comming season? Any body ????? speak up now !!! Bob rc widower 08-19-2005, 09:14 AM hey guys, I think that the building from last year, is still available. But if no one is interested in racing there, and you sell the carpet, what should I do with the drivers stand ? If we sell, I'm putting up all my stuff up for sale. If anyone is interested in purchasing something, they should give me a call. Sorry to hear no one is interested in having a track around here with the price of gas these days. rickk5 08-19-2005, 10:36 AM BOB, I THINK SELLING THE CARPET TO ALLEN IS A GOOD IDEA, WITH OUR NEW CARPET AND HIS FACILITY, AND THE FACT THAT ITS NOT THAT FAR OF A DRIVE,I WILL GO EVERY WEEKEND, I THINK ITS A WIN WIN DEAL!!! RICK MK Race 08-19-2005, 01:00 PM I would like to have someplace close to race at again. Last years place is OK. I don't want to be in charge and neither does Bob. If somebody wants to jump up and run the show, that's fine with me. Maybe Kevin, Randy, Claude, Carl, John, Gary, or Robski? How many people will show up? Is it worth the trouble to have a place for a few guys to race at when it is convienent? I'm not trying to stir up anything, just stating the facts. Sorry to hear that you would sell everything and not travel Kevin. We have a lot of fun on the road trips. Mark N 08-23-2005, 01:09 AM Racing at Allens this year to many prodlems last year Is not worth the trouble to have a place for a few guys to race at jake86 08-23-2005, 09:23 AM Sorry to hear that you guys won't have your own track this year. I understand what it take to run a track and I can understand why you don't want too. If any of you guys would like to sell a person transponder for a good price I might be interested in buying it. What are you guy going to do with your Amb system? Jason rc widower 08-23-2005, 10:16 PM Hey Bob are you interest in buying all my new in the package spare parts I got a list that i could fax you Mayhem Racing 08-24-2005, 11:29 AM New Schedule -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Starting August 30th we will go to Tuesday Night On-Road races start at 7pm and Thursday Night Oval racing starting at 7pm and On-Road/ Oval carpet Saturday nights at 6pm..
