The track was fast last night and we have 3 new track records to prove it!!



First ...the sportsman class.. A big congrats to Joe Marks with 58/4:02.12

Joe should get a trophies for the most improved driver of the year, but we will just put his name on Hobby talk instead.



Second...in brush less class, congrats to Mike Kelm with 65/4:00.94 Mike car looked good as he powered away from Tim and Allen in the Main



Third...in our biggest class, congrats to Todd Gailius with 62/4:04.01 Todd took the track record the first day of racing with 61/4:03.09 There has been 3 other holders of this title since then with Todd now reclaiming it again. Good Job Todd.

A big thanks to Allen and Tim for coming down to race with us.

And a really big thanks to Dave Moss for the BBQ. That had to be some of your best Dave.

For the racers that did not make it yesterday, You missed some good racing ,and the after race show put on by Mike and John.

No track records. The temp was up and the track felt slow. Dan Dolbert TQed and won. Ramsey qualified 2nd right behind Dan. Just a little too much bumping around at the start and Randy was a victim. I finished 2nd.

I do hate to see this track behind us, I think it was a fun season and yes I did have fun last night.!!! thats what its all about is having fun.

Guess it is all road trips for you guys now, can't believe all of you can just up and quit. Been too busy here lately to get out, hope to get to the local track this weekend and try out the brushless on a 6 degree banked asphalt track. They aren't running brushless but hope I can get two three others interested. :) Lets here from you guys, I race vicariously through you guys for now. Anybody made any road trips? Who went and how did ya do? You guys gonna do it in the dirt this summer? Where you going to race? Bought a used sprint car on E-bay, transmission (MIP?) CW sprinter. No luck with any info on the MIP tranny though, went to their web site and found nada, guess they don't make it anymore. Hey Kelm, can I convert it over to a direct drive, is the chassis drilled for both? Probably going to have to go tranny for a while though, on a budget this go round! Hey Pontoon Girly, you gonna hafta change your handle? The "Pontoon" part of it at least? Guess you are gonna be working all summer and not doing the dirt thing again this season? If you do decide to hit the dirt let me know, migh drive back again. The wife had surgery on her left foot and will be on crutches for 4-6 weeks! She is home from work and driving me nuts! Hey Ralf, you can convert to direct drive real easy if it is a converted old enforcer that was DD. If it is the Enforcer 10, which is the old standard gearbox sprinter, I don't know.

Thinking about going down to Springfield MO this Saturday. Will be maikng a trip up to Cedar Rapids around the 4th of July for a cap tire race. Then making some trips to KC for some flat track asphalt racing.

Hey Joe, sounds great. Geraing sounds about right. At Jacksonville a couple of weeks ago I geraed the 4300 with a 15/100 and it shut down with a minute to go. Next heat I went to 12/100 and finished fine, with lot's of battery left. I'm switching to the 5800 this Saturday. Not sure how many Wednesdays I can make, but should make a couple. Does the car have the big shocks or the small Delta's? See you Saturday?
