Probably Sat. for sure, that's our "usual" night, and possibly tonight. But I won't be there long tonight if we're there since I'm moving tommorrow. We usually get there anytime after 8pm. Also, this is for anyone who was wanting info on where to turn their truck into a dirt oval truck like Moose and Fish have done. Cooter 04-03-2004, 10:45 PM Any guess's what I did today  John Warner 04-03-2004, 11:17 PM Any guess's what I did today  You went to silver lake or somewhere looking for that red S-10?? . Cooter 04-04-2004, 12:09 AM You went to silver lake or somewhere looking for that red S-10?? . Yep your right it was silver lake, it was a total blast except for the dude that the the DNR had under a white cloth until the coroner got there. What a sobering thing that was to see :( John Warner 04-04-2004, 12:17 AM Yep your right it was silver lake, it was a total blast except for the dude that the the DNR had under a white cloth until the coroner got there. What a sobering thing that was to see :( What happened, any idea??? Cooter 04-04-2004, 12:27 AM What happened, any idea??? He was driving a dirt bike and It looked like had came flying over a hill and slamed right into the side of a chevy S-10 blazer like my red one. John Warner 04-04-2004, 01:04 AM He was driving a dirt bike and It looked like had came flying over a hill and slamed right into the side of a chevy S-10 blazer like my red one. Nice, last week somebody posted a video of a white truck going airborn over a hill and slamming nose first into the hood of a red S-10. Needless to say, the S-10 looked totaled, and the white truck rolled a few times. It seems to me that Red S-10's are bad luck at the dunes!! bustedparts 04-04-2004, 10:48 AM I have seen that befor, dude on a tricked out banshee wasnt watching were he was going and decided to cross the drag strip and got slamed by a buggy.Airomed cam and got him,He was covered in one of those tinfoil bag bleading from every hole in his head.I have herd and seen alot of bad thing that has happend there,Some people think the dnr are a bunch of jurks but they are there to protect you from the stupid people! bustedparts 04-04-2004, 10:50 AM Track buliding day is when??? John Warner 04-04-2004, 11:27 AM Track buliding day is when??? Good question!! . wreckscuba 04-04-2004, 12:11 PM Can anyone here tell me what buggy this is and it its a good buggy ?Thanks Ed http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=3184281185&category=34063&sspagename=STRK%3AMEBWA%3AIT&rd=1 wreckscuba 04-04-2004, 12:14 PM How about this one ?http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=3184871460&category=49213&sspagename=STRK%3AMEBWA%3AIT&rd=1 John Warner 04-04-2004, 12:14 PM Not sure what it is, but it looks like an Ofna to me. But then again, it also looks like a pile, no shocks? Might make a good parts car maybe! John Warner 04-04-2004, 12:15 PM The 2nd one looks a lot better than the first one did. And it's even got triple brakes discs! That would be my choice of the 2 of them. Dave Walton 04-04-2004, 12:19 PM The first one is an old Ofna stay away from that one. The second one is a Kyosho 7.5 good buggy. That is like the one I ran last year. Ask John it was up in the mix every week. wreckscuba 04-04-2004, 12:20 PM man that was fast ! Ya the second one is all there.Wish dan-o would send me pics of what he has maybe he wll send them today.I hope .Ed bustedparts 04-04-2004, 12:29 PM The first one is a ofna lx,the second looks like the better deal. Its more complete. But you will not see me with a k car anytime soon! wreckscuba 04-04-2004, 12:30 PM Heres the link for dan-o http://www.hobbytalk.com/bbs1/showthread.php?t=79149 But there ard no pics so I am not sure what all he has with it .Ed Dave Walton 04-04-2004, 12:36 PM Here is a pic that I found that Dan o had on another thread. Dave Walton 04-04-2004, 12:39 PM I still say that your second ebay item the Kyosho 7.5 is the better buy than the ofna. That 7.5 kit sells for about 350.00 so if you can get it less than 200.00 you will get a good deal. bustedparts 04-04-2004, 03:40 PM Well second tank of fuel down and about one starter box wheel! wreckscuba 04-04-2004, 06:33 PM Would this motor work in the kyosho http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=3185275208&category=34062 Thanks Ed wreckscuba 04-04-2004, 06:43 PM Bustedparts,How about that motor I see you have in the swap&sell will it work ?how much do you want for it?Ed John Warner 04-04-2004, 06:48 PM Would this motor work in the kyosho http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=3185275208&category=34062 Thanks Ed It was meant for the MP7.5 Sports buggy (RTR) Look at the built-in engine mounts, they use narrow holes in the chassis which differ from the "normal" mounts. So, it might or it might not work. You may be able to mount it by drilling some new holes! Or by using regular 7.5 engine mounts. You'll also need a different header as well. . bustedparts 04-04-2004, 06:50 PM For you I will sell it for 100 bucks! bustedparts 04-05-2004, 12:24 PM Got to run a few more tanks through the top motor,WOW all I can say is its fast,And I was only blipin the throttle.Better have the jp tuned just right chad! Mike Champ 04-05-2004, 12:36 PM Got to run a few more tanks through the top motor,WOW all I can say is its fast,And I was only blipin the throttle.Better have the jp tuned just right chad! Am I hearing you are happy with your engine Rich? Cool... Only blipin the trigger??? Come on Rich, None of us does that... LOL...JK What pipe did you get with that ? Is it the "jamming something" from Ofna ? Do you have a picture of your car ? I'd like to see it... Here is an idea : Why don't we reserve a page on the GLRCWOOR website for pictures of our cars. Not pictures of the track or racing, but just our cars before racing... That can be cool... Josh, let me know what you think about that ??? Mike That would be cool to have that option to post pictures  ric-o'-shea 04-05-2004, 05:31 PM Hey Chad when are we going to start building the track I want to help LMK when.  bustedparts 04-05-2004, 07:37 PM I think that the track will happen soon,Roys track opens in 2 week and chads track opened the 4th of next mnt.Well see.I dont have a picture of my buggy yet.I also need to get a picture host yet to.I got the ofna 086 pipe.I will try it,I wanted to get the jammin pipe but horizon didnt have them in stock.I want to get the pcr towers and braces yet to befor the season starts but I dont think thats going to happen.I want to get some of the pro stuff to.Just drivin it around the yard I can tell it going to need some shock work.I took the diffs out and the front and rear had grease in them. The center spider diff had nothing in it??I put 7,3,3 diff oil in it to try it out. Dave Walton 04-05-2004, 11:18 PM Most of the time you want a higher weight in the center. You may want to try 7 10 3 that is pretty standard. DamageIncRacing 04-06-2004, 05:54 AM Whats the word on the off-road track? I got the urge to play in the dirt! If the clay oval makes it in I may run that a few times as well. And I'm seriously considering one of the slick sprint cars... SHHHHHHH! 95newb 04-06-2004, 08:40 AM I took the diffs out and the front and rear had grease in them. The center spider diff had nothing in it??I put 7,3,3 diff oil in it to try it out. Rich, if that has the torsen center diff in it, there is a special grease that is used in that and putting anything else in it will ruin it. You might wanna make sure it has the proper grease in it and make sure you know what diff it is. Those torsen diffs are very particular when it comes to the grease and if it looked like there wasn't anything in it, chances are, there was something but only what was needed.... bustedparts 04-06-2004, 05:59 PM Most of the time you want a higher weight in the center. You may want to try 7 10 3 that is pretty standard. The spider diff has 2 more gears in it from a standard diff.So I went with a lighter oil. bustedparts 04-06-2004, 06:01 PM Rich, if that has the torsen center diff in it, there is a special grease that is used in that and putting anything else in it will ruin it.
