Restricted_GT 03-09-2004, 01:42 AM MMHHMMMM sure.. I know of someone else that would make the K team even better. We are now up to three but there is one more that is thinking of getting a K car. I know you guys now him from getting passed by him on the track in G.R. *got ya thinking now huh?*Yeppers for those who member'd who that was that blew thier doors off it was prolly the same guy that I'm talking about here. Jessie is thinking about it and I think he would make a huge part of the K team. Think about this, Mike,Daddy,Jessie, and me all driving K cars. Yeppers I'm sure we 4 would be able to handle all the other brand X cars with ease...
bustedparts 03-09-2004, 01:54 AM DOnt be so sure of yourself!I am sure the ofna and mugen should be able to knock down a few 1st places.
Restricted_GT 03-09-2004, 01:58 AM Well yeah given the # of races threw the summer then yeah Im sure you X guys will have a few.... Or better yet ya can have the races that we K cars wont be in... like the B-Z mains since we would take up only 4 spots in the A.
Big Daddy_1 03-09-2004, 10:45 AM You Ofna guys at the end of the day I don't want to hear it!
but I still love you guys
Proud Kyosho owner
bustedparts 03-09-2004, 10:49 AM I remeber last year a mugen givin the "k word" a pretty good spankin. It was a good fight but the "k word" lost! :dude:
Big Daddy_1 03-09-2004, 10:56 AM Last year I wasn't quite sure what everyone was runninig.
Big Daddy_1 03-09-2004, 10:57 AM Oh yeah Rich
Welcome to Team Assosciated! Congrats on the T4
Restricted_GT 03-09-2004, 01:47 PM Oohh yes I member that Rich, like I said the K cars will prolly give a few races away this year but not many. I do recall I lost to Dan cook, but not by much and we both had a beer down the hatch befor the other guys got thier laps done.
Restricted_GT 03-09-2004, 01:48 PM You Ofna guys at the end of the day I don't want to hear it!
but I still love you guys
Proud Kyosho owner
Yep I see big Daddy is getting in with the swing of things already!!!
Big Daddy_1 03-09-2004, 02:01 PM Chad doesn't it seems the ground is real soft for this time of the year or is it my imagination?
Proud Kyosho owner!
95newb 03-09-2004, 02:05 PM well the OFNA's will be in full force this year and tearing it up good. Those K cars and the M's better watch out and get to know what the tail of a O' car looks like hahaha
ohhh btw Rich, looks like I'll be swingin at ya with a Losi this season woot woot :D
Restricted_GT 03-09-2004, 02:10 PM For all the off-road guys this is a heads up!!!!!! I have 35yrds of clay on order, Alot of it is for the Oval But alot of it is going into the off-road track so ya might wanna consider a different tire this summer. The tire ya ran last summer will be ok till the track gets hard and I'm sure It will fast. *week or so* With the amount of clay that is going in,it might become close to a blue groove track, so say good-by to those nice new crime fighters. I think the tire of choice will be the new knuckles *proline* They have big square lugs at different hights so the wear is about non existant but if ya get in the loose stuff at a corner the tire still has enough tread depth to pull ya out with ease. We'll see how the track surface works out!!!
Restricted_GT 03-09-2004, 02:14 PM OK thats IT!!!!! Josh what happend??? I know ya have the O car but good lordy man!! a Losi?? (checks Josh's temp) Now ya might have pit over on the other end, "out there" :jest: Good to see ya again Josh!!!
95newb 03-09-2004, 02:17 PM hahhaa, you know i gotta be different and Losi is about as diff as it gets hahaha.... we will see how i do in elec stock and mod this season wooohoooo :D
Restricted_GT 03-09-2004, 02:27 PM LOL this is so funny!! I think we all for got about the drivers series and are all about the manufacters series. Its gunna be funny to see what the pits look like out here. Well look at it this way.. The other cars *other than Kyosho's* if ya need a part or sumfin ya prolly wont have to walk far since the 40 of ya will prolly be hurdled under one tent.
Restricted_GT 03-09-2004, 02:36 PM Now that gunna be a funny Kodak moment!!
Dave Walton 03-09-2004, 02:54 PM What day are you thinking of running the dirt oval. I might have to get one of those Sprint cars.
dan-o 03-09-2004, 05:19 PM I remember a race early in the season when the "fridge" was in affect and it was a mugen1 , mugen2, kcar3.... but does this all matter ........
hell ya it does!!!! lets get it on!!!!!!
we ( the kalamazoo guys ) are rally-ing the indiana and ohio guys to get up there when the season opens and racing gets going.
Cooter 03-09-2004, 07:58 PM Bring it on Chad, racin over the winter has help to minimize the drivers stand spaziod syndrome I used to have, so puttin on the pressure wont come so easy this year hehehe :dude:
John Warner 03-09-2004, 08:05 PM the drivers stand spaziod syndrome
Wow, I know somebody else that has that!!!
Mike Champ 03-09-2004, 08:44 PM I like the "smack talk" before the beginning of the season.
Everybody still has a chance at that time... LOL :D
I'm just sure of one thing : IT IS GOING TO BE FUN and COMPETITVE racing this year...
Let's make WOOR THE place for 8th scale racing !!!
After all, Driving skills will tell us the truth about who's the fastest on the track! Right... (?).
Sorry about the typo, I meant the fastest KYOSHO on the track... LOL heeheehee...
Mike
Dave Walton 03-09-2004, 09:18 PM Dan-O I dumped the Kyosho buggy and jumped on the Mugen wagon. You guys will have to give me the hot set up and we will give them all they can handle. Hope to see all you guys soon.
John Warner 03-09-2004, 10:12 PM Here's something for thought.....
Since Mr. Champrenault & Chad are "K-mates",

Chad drive his truck in one or two of the heats
to see how well he can do??!!
Tim...... PM gone in your direction.

Restricted_GT 03-10-2004, 12:03 AM That sounds good John, But I'm not sure if I'm going to be there this sat yet or not.
dan-o 03-10-2004, 09:56 AM Dave ,
the car in prett much stock form works well.. just change the diff fluids to 5k front 7k center and 2K rear...35 weight oil in front and 30 in rear...everything else stock settings. I ran this at the track last year with good luck. But with the clay and other things....who knows!!!! Congrats on the mugen ride "thou shalt not break parts"
g-maxx 03-10-2004, 07:53 PM Future Kyosho owner right here.... maybe, depends on how much i'm racin this sumer and if i've got some money in the bank. See you guys at W.O.O.R. this summer.
