The last time I seen him he was walking down Division there at the corner of 28th, and I'm pretty sure it was him cause well, you know the hair and all, anyway... the thing was wearing a little pink and purple mini-skirt. I didn't take the time to stop and see if it was really him or not, but if I was to make a wager, it would be a sizeable one!

Yea, Chad, get thoes forms in early so we can have a MARS at WOOR. Would love to have one so close to home and at a great track. Just wish I had more open weekends to race so I could run there. Right now the only races I can make are the MARS. Though I hope to make a few late this summer at WOOR.

Well I am putting on my 2 peice pipe on the pcr.I am sure I will have tons of grunt now.Just hope all my stuff will be in for the big race.I might have my savage by then to.

Doesnt the buggy have a bulit in servo saver?I have been running my hitec 5625 servo with a aluimnum servo arm and I havent had a problem.Sure there is some slop in the gears now(jason swint calls slop in your stearing "love") but it hasnt broke!And I have had bent the front pivot balls and the servo still lives.Strangely enough I have gone through 2 throttle servos?

I have orderd the team jammin pipe but its on back order.Heres a tip,stay away from the 086 series pipes.They are desighed for top end use.You will loose all of you bottom end.If I wasnt getting the jammin pipe I would get the ofna 063 pipe.Very good buy for the money.The jammin is like 70 bucks and the 063 is 60 bucks.I like the jammin cuz you wont ever bent the outlet on it.

It does but I still run one to protect my servo, doesnt hurt to have extra protection!!!!!!! :cool:

I have beenthinking about getting a airtronics 358 and 357 but 200 bucks for 2 servos!I think thats a little out of hand!I know ken broke a 358 last weekend.

I run the 086 ofna on my 1/8th but those Jammin pipes with that reinforced outlet looks like if you have the extra cabbage is the best way to go! :dude:

Ive never toasted a 9402 yet I smoked a 9303 thats why I started runing the extra servo saver, and a couple of Hitec 645mgs went down for other problems other than gears.

I've emailed futaba about how expansive a replacement metal gear set is and they weren't any help at all...

I guess it teaches you lessons about futaba servos... They are good for 1/10th scale (strong enough), but DO NOT USE them in a 8th scale for steering, cause there is no point of paying 75% (Correction : actually 80%) of the price of a brand new servo to just replace a metal gear...

Ed and Tim, Bring your servo next time your are at the track, we might be able to rebuilt one out of the 3 futaba we broke together...

You can replace the platic gear in a 9402.Buy the plastic gear set for the 3001 and the gear you need is in there.Part #Futm3400 The set is $6.00 you only use one gear and throw the rest away. Its a lot cheaper than the metal gear set. I have 2 9402 servo and have replace the gears in both so I know it works.

Glad to see Mr. Walton is still around. Wonder where he's been hiding for the past several weeks? We sure haven't seen hide nor hair of him out at West Olive. Guess maybe the competition must have gotten to intense for him or something! Dave, any comments??
