Rumor has it Jesse didn't end up with an 1/8th scale..... bummer!

Also, to those of you that still have the transponders in your vehicles
from Sundays "dash for cover rainstorm" please remember to bring them
back with you this weekend.

ThanX!

Dogs are better than kids. They eat less, don't ask for money all the time, are easier to train, usually come when called, never drive your car, don't hang out with drug-using friends, don't drink or smoke, don't worry about buying the latest fashions, don't wear your clothes, don't need a gazillion dollars for college, and, if they get pregnant, you can sell the results!!

LoL!!!

At least he got his $$$ back.
I can relate to the opposite..... I sent out a TC3 and received the money via paypal. Then paypal got an email from the buyer saying he didn't receive the car and without questioning it, they returned his money! That was five weeks ago, I've faxed paypal the conformation that the buyer did receive it along with a copy of the buyers signature on the conformation receipt. Guess what...... I have to wait until paypals "review board" looks at the evidence. My case is in waiting and could take another 2 to 3 weeks before I get my money back. I will NEVER EVER accept paypal again!!!!!!!

So how many people are running electric truck on the weekends? If anybody is running a T3, whats the setup so far? I may actually be able to race this weekend! No cars to work on!

This is for you Johnny Boy- The guy at Autozone told me this... 98% of all Fords are still on the road... The other 2% made it home!

As far as the setup for the T3, I've tried mine once on the track and it wasn't bad at all. I believe I have something like 35 wt all the way around, silver springs Fr and Rr, 2°/3° Rr block, Lognuts tires Fr and Rr, 2° camber Fr and Rr.
I only had a little problem steering when entering the corners at low speed, but I had my Fr sway bar. I believe if I remove it, it will be great !
Traction was excellent. I had a 11x2 and the truck was balistic. I think I was geared at 16/87. Motor was alright after the whole battery... Hope that will help.

See you there this WE

I don't know, but I'm thinking of getting the other
one he had for the time being. I don't remember
the name of it at the moment, Dominator or something.

Fred Knapp

Dominator, I believe that would be it. Yea thats nice but I have an idea the the TC3 verison would be a bit faster.

John Warner

I agree totally. But on the other hand, I wonder how long it will take
before the TC3 version is built. Not to mention the cost factor.

That's a good question. But I'd imagine we'll be looking for
a different location. Hopefully less expensive too!

Hey great race today guys, the electric class rocked. My batts suck so i can't really run my Mod motor, but it was my first time out this season, and my friends first time out ever, so thanx for all the help you guys gave today. BTW 1/8th scale is friggen awesome.

John Warner
06-06-2004, 10:08 PM
Yeah, I must admit the electric class is growing more and more every weekend. In case any of you arn't aware of it, we have designed into the track a way to shorten it up. Some people had mentioned last season that they'd prefer to make more than 9 or 10 laps. So, if thats an option let us know!

ThanX!

Yeah Great Job Tim. You did a nice race in the main.
TJ did really good too! I watch him driving and he is really getting his hand on his 8th scale! GOOD JOB, the Postma Familly !!!

I had a REAL BLAST too, all day long !!! Eventhough I stall in the main !
BTW, thanks Cliff for seeing that I was out of gas after 3 min ! I would never have thought that I could have been out of gas. I guess next time I'll watch the Idle Up on the radio and make sure it is OFF when I'm racing...That will save me 2 and half minutes out of the pits... Car was running good though after that, motor was at 215° and I like my setup. I think its working good in the technical section. Can't wait to put the new head on too... But I'll wait another 2 to 3 weeks, so my motor will be fully broken in, and then I can punch it...:devil: Oh yeah Baby.

Anyway, Great people and great racing day at WOOR. AWESOME !!!

Thanx for the compliments, always try to help anyway I can. The o63 pipe eh? I was thinking of a mid to high range pipe, if thats what that is I'll have to try it. I am ordering a dynamite 1 pice pipe and header for next time, see what happens. I will be bringing O'donnell 30% fuel the next time I race, had a few ask for it today. If anyone needs anything for next week, I'll check my e-mail tues. night so I can order it on wed. I will not be racing next sun. have to put a roof on the house so see everyone in two weeks. And I will slap the monkey on tues. Rich, I'll let you know what he coughs up.
