Chad,
Unfortunately I don't think I will need to learn your trick to get some compression back for my motor, as it really ate dirt last time when the carb was falling. I think I figured out too late that something was wrong...
I've tried to run it today, and I've discovered that the case is cracked !!! :( :drunk:  That's why I couldn't keep it running at idle without the glow plug ignitor. Not enough compression... My piston and sleeve are ruined too... Lots odf dirt inside...

So I guess my engine is dead...

What is a good engine to get for the money ?
Is the WS7 II good? What is the difference b/w a C-5 and a WS7 II?

Is there anybody that is in the need of a Carb 21B or a Nova Pro Head (+ standard cooling head) for a OS .21 RZ-V01B ? These are still in good shape, but I won't use them...

Hey mike,I would go with a s7 by rb.The only difference from the ws72 is the crank. This is the same motor that one of the guys from rnl were using and it screamed.Realy sorry to here of your motor troubles.I have already had my share this year. The ws7 and the c5 are very different motors.MIke go here to do some reserch.

Holy Crap! You guys are spending that kind of dough on engines!? I got the impression from the number of engines you guys have been blowing up that these things were like a dime a dozen.

It's been quite the weekend injuries and hospitals......
Eileen's in the hospital tonight because they think she had a heart attack.
They ran a series of tests, and they found something suspicious, so they
decided to keep her for the next few days.

$310? and that's a good price... Hummm
I guess I'll do a little research on what is a little more reasonable to spend on a motor... But again, we're INSANE, so who knows what's gonna happen next...:dude:

Anybody with a recommandation on a decent motor for around ~$200-$250?

Rich, what kind of price do you think House Of Hobbies will have on the WS7 II? Do you think they'll beat that?

If I can sell the head and the carb, that might help me to spend the cash for the new motor. Anybody interested ?

Well, I will know a little more about what I want next week, I guess...

So, I have no engine for my 1/10th scale nitro sedan (no pipe either), no engine for my 8th scale and I need a 19T for my TC3...

Do I need motors or what? LOL (but not that loud...)

Does anubody knows anything about that engine :
http://acehardwarehobbies.com/2.2/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=108_115_168&products_id=2517

Pretty decent price... for a 2.35 Hp

How many Hp is the S7 II and WS7 II ?
Just need to compare what you get for the money...

What about that Rex P5 :

Well I havent had any luck with picco engines. But swints seems to run good. And as far as a rex goes. Its going to be hard to find parts for them caus trinty was there importer and they are not importer, but I am seing alot of parts for them on line.I herd that dan has one that he runs but I seen a c5 in his buggy the last time.I would go for this.

Sorry to hear about your motor... One thing to do befor ya strap anyother motor in the car is clean your pipe cuz thier might be dirt stuck in it from going threw the motor... Also let me know if you need a hook up on a RB.. I would recomend the WS7-2 for ya......

Get the S7 and take the money you were to spend on the WS72 and buy tires....the S7 is a great motor and is as fast as just about anything out there. I have ran these engines with good luck and reliability. I am no trying the P5 to be different but ...RB is probably the best route for best bang for your buck. BTW the RB 3 port, 5 port , and 7 port all share the same cases so you can interchange the p/s with your choice of power. If anyone is interested Dan Cook has a rebuilt new S7 for sale ......

What is the best product to clean it ? Gasoline? Nitro fuel ? Motor Cleaner spray ?

The more I look around for motors, the more I like the RBs !!!
Now, do you think I need the extra power from the WS7 compare to the S7 ?
I'm not sure I have the driving skills yet to really gain from it right now. On the other hand, if I do get better at driving that super handling K-car, I wouldn't like to have to buy another motor to be able to chase your tail... jk...
Well, I guess I just have to make up my mind. Also check your PM Chad.
