dan-o 05-10-2004, 04:35 PM I hope to be at WOOR soon but I have been soo busy with work that I cannot get the things done during the week that needs to be done and that only leaves time for the weekend to do the odds and ends .....I have not had the money to buy the production version of the FR21 yet.. I have been running a P5 in my mbx5 and that is what I ran this past weekend. Hope to have the new FR21 by the end of the month and hope to get to Chads sooner!!!!
Nolan31 05-10-2004, 04:36 PM Thats cool! I think these new engines are really nice for the price and have plenty of power.

wreckscuba 05-11-2004, 04:32 PM Ok guys need some help. The buggy idles good. low end speed is good but when ever I try and punch it it falls flat and dies .I have followed the motor breakin to a t .Where should I start? The motor is the hyper.21 8port.Keep in mind this is my first try with nitro.Ed
Cooter 05-11-2004, 04:58 PM Hey Ed ill try to get there around 11-11:30 if my pipe comes in they said they would e-mail me with the tracking info and I have yet to see anything from them :freak:
And as far as your engine problem goes these thing are very cold blooded so just ease the trottle on at first till it gets warmed up a little, if it is warmed up and it still does it and it kinda spits and sputters and throws raw fuel out the pipe as you try to rev it up its probably to rich, but if you do lean it out watch the temp closely once you get it running beter a little turn does a lot so turn the screw only small amounts
Cooter 05-11-2004, 05:07 PM Ed I have the same moter, I just ran down and screwed in the high speed needle and mine is set at 2 5/8 th turns out and mine was running very good out at the track on thursday that should be a good place to start for yours also
wreckscuba 05-11-2004, 05:15 PM Thank you Cooter.I will be on my dinner break soon going to run another tank in it.I will check the setings and see where they are at.Ed
