wreckscuba 05-06-2004, 10:39 PM Looks Like a much harder surface this year.Well I have all my stuff ready to go just waiting on that brown truck to show up :freak: Ed John Warner 05-06-2004, 11:07 PM Brown truck? Oh, you mean UPS which of course stands for....... Ur Package is Somewhere!! bustedparts 05-06-2004, 11:18 PM What a huge difference from last year!We went from black loam to gray top.Well i think my buggy is set.Cant be out there this weekend. Got the mothers day thing going on.My mom lives 200 miles away so we are going to visit her.Cant wait for next weekend!Got new tires and a 14t clutch bell.No saying what I will put on it next week. We'll see. DamageIncRacing 05-07-2004, 06:04 AM Hey Dameage......... you runnin this weekend or what?? Depends, what day do you run electric? Also depends on if I have the money to run. Gimme a bump on the nevertell sometime today (before 3) Phat Dakota 05-07-2004, 03:13 PM Ok gang here is some pics of the new track Finally, some pics of the track. Looks pretty sweet. I have to round up and make some silicone tires for the rocket wedge car and come out and do some hot laps sometime Cooter 05-07-2004, 05:58 PM Finally, some pics of the track. Looks pretty sweet. I have to round up and make some silicone tires for the rocket wedge car and come out and do some hot laps sometime Sounds sweet Andy looking forward to seeing you out there. John Warner 05-07-2004, 08:38 PM I'm not liking this weekends weather forecast so far! bustedparts 05-07-2004, 11:05 PM Ok I completly went through my suspension. It handles like a enzo now.Perfect brake bias.Just enough weight transfer in the bends. And new shoes to boot!Hehe shoes, boot.I think I might stay with the 13 tooth bell.Running the 14t in the yard over heats the bell and makes the shoes gooey.I got the motor tuned out so she runs at 220 230 and it screams on the top end.Not like last weekend when it kind of sound sick on the big end.2 more weeks I will have my spair motor.I have not yet mad up my mind on witch motor to get.I love this top motor. You set the carb and it stays tuned with no guessin.Rb is a choice since house of hobbys in muskegon is now a dealer. But I have herd nothing but good things about the rex P5 motor. They say its just as fast as a ws72 .Dont know what am going to do??? Restricted_GT 05-08-2004, 08:55 AM Well it dark but its dry out here (for now) We'll see what mother nature has instore!! For those die hards the track is open today for practice. Restricted_GT 05-08-2004, 09:40 PM Ok yeah the track was a goopy sloppy mess today but if mother nature dosnt dump mass amounts of H2O on it we should be good to go tomorrow. hey Champ check ya pm's!!!! Nolan31 05-08-2004, 09:49 PM Chad wanted to thank you again for helping breaking in that Fantom today. can't wait to see what it can do tomorrow Cooter 05-08-2004, 09:50 PM Enjoy your day tommorow gang I will be doing the Mothers day thing  O-well the buggy is out for the count till the new pipe gets here on Wed. (I hope ) Should be ready to go be next week  Nolan31 05-08-2004, 09:51 PM Oh ya them bugs ate me alive too :freak: Cooter 05-08-2004, 09:53 PM Oh ya them bugs ate me alive too :freak: Give it a day and you will go crazy itching where those little bastards bit, I got ate up on thursday by them  P.S. Bring bug spray with you tommorow or you will be sorry John Warner 05-08-2004, 10:17 PM what kind of bugs are you people talking about? Nolan31 05-08-2004, 10:27 PM They have very large teeth bustedparts 05-08-2004, 10:35 PM Most likely noseeums.I got chewed up by them last year. Cooter 05-08-2004, 11:29 PM Chad said their gnats and the web site that I looked them up on said that only the females bite(go figure hehe) and it described them as vicious bitters and I can attest to that :freak: John Warner 05-09-2004, 09:08 AM Anybody know what the weathers like out there this morning? John Warner 05-09-2004, 09:36 AM Never mind the last post. I just talked to Chad on the phone and he says the sun is shining, and everythings looking great. There is however some standing water on the track that he and Nolan are getting rid of. So...... I'm heading up the in about 20 minutes!! bustedparts 05-09-2004, 11:14 AM Well I wish i could go but I got that mothers day stuff i have to do.Plus my buggy is running funny. When it heats up it acts like its got a air leak.I went and sprayed motor cleaner at the base of the carb when it was running and it killed it instantly. So i siliconed the car to the motor hoping that will fix it.Well se later this afternoon. bustedparts 05-09-2004, 05:47 PM Well how did it go today???Who won,who go wet.Who bew it up?Lets here it! John Warner 05-09-2004, 06:20 PM I can't help ya, I didn't make it there today. Couldn't find an alternator here in this wonderful town of Hastings that would fit the Honda. That's what happens when you drive a POS!! . bustedparts 05-09-2004, 06:53 PM You've got to be kidding me,You cant fix a alternator! How many parts are in there?2 brushes, zener diode(or some thing to regulate) and a few other small parts.Improvize.Rubber bands and glue work good on hondas. What happened to the ford??You didnt brake it did yha. Also thats your choice for livin in tim buck two.Well I hope yha have it fixed soon. Nolan31 05-09-2004, 07:24 PM We thought you didn't make it out because you got confused and thought it was Fathers Day Nolan31 05-09-2004, 07:26 PM The track turned out pretty good after we got off all that water. the one corner of the oval had to be around a foot of water. Engine didn't want to run right either it didn't help with all this humidity either TOYMINATOR 05-09-2004, 07:28 PM I can't help ya, I didn't make it there today. Couldn't find an alternator here in this wonderful town of Hastings that would fit the Honda. That's what happens when you drive a POS!! . Ever heard of a battery charger,Johnny Boy??? LOL :jest: John Warner 05-09-2004, 07:37 PM Ever heard of a battery charger,Johnny Boy??? LOL :jest: Yeah, yeah... I got one of those, but my extension cord isn't quite long enough to make it out to West Olive! bustedparts 05-09-2004, 07:48 PM Whats that I smell,It kind of smells like chicken. But it could be something else. Nolan31 05-09-2004, 07:56 PM Chad your new bump wheel will be in Tuesday. I'll bring it out when I get it. wreckscuba 05-09-2004, 08:36 PM Sounds like you guys had a great day out at WOOR .Wish I could have been there. My buggy is supose to be here tomorrow. So What time is the track opening next sunday?I will be there waiting as long as the motor breakin gos good.I have everything here waiting to go just need that brown truck to show up .I went and got fuel ,new servo, filter oil and after run oil.Anything else I need here ?Anybody now what shock oil(weight) the hyper7 comes with?Or should I just change it so I know? Ed Nolan31 05-09-2004, 09:16 PM Track opens around 10 and racing starts around 1. I would get a hot glow plug lighter and some extra plugs just in case. I would run it on the track first to see how it runs if you need to change oil. I run 30 weight in my Ofna 9.5. Chad I think runs around 60 weight in K2. wreckscuba 05-09-2004, 10:51 PM [QUOTE=Nolan31] I would get a hot glow plug lighter and some extra plugs just in case.change oil.QUOTE]This is my first time with nitro anything. So looking around I see so many diffrent glow plugs brands.I even see one called a turbo plug. What one do you recomend? Thanks for the help Ed bustedparts 05-09-2004, 10:57 PM my pcr I run 25w oil with the tops of the shocks tilted in one click.but I am still refining it. Cooter 05-09-2004, 11:35 PM Hey Ed when did you order that bad boy? I thought you ordered it like a week and a half ago. Where did you order from? :freak: wreckscuba 05-09-2004, 11:36 PM I did.I orded it at nitrohouse Cooter 05-09-2004, 11:39 PM [QUOTE=Nolan31] I would get a hot glow plug lighter and some extra plugs just in case.change oil.QUOTE]This is my first time with nitro anything. So looking around I see so many diffrent glow plugs brands.I even see one called a turbo plug. What one do you recomend? Thanks for the help Ed Cliff at Hobby World recommended the megatech plug to me so that is what I bought for my OFNA, but I still have the original one in it so I cant tell you for sure if that is the best one yet! wreckscuba 05-09-2004, 11:39 PM They said they ran out of them  After I orded it ! Cooter 05-09-2004, 11:41 PM I did.I orded it at nitrohouse Oh boy!!! Its a piece of junk!!!!!!! it wouldnt stay together it kept falling apart at the rubber coupler  wreckscuba 05-09-2004, 11:58 PM Hope mine works.I wont have the cash for anythings else wright now Cooter 05-10-2004, 12:09 AM Hope mine works.I wont have the cash for anythings else wright now Yea I hope so to, I tried every thing I could and after about 2 min if that at WOOR on the track and it would come apart and id be done till it cooled down enough to put it together again  Nolan31 05-10-2004, 09:43 AM Chad and I both run megatech plugs too. Nolan31 05-10-2004, 09:46 AM I am running the prototype FR 21 in my Mugen MT and it runs well. So the production engine should be better. Some of the R&L guys have these and they like it. It is a 3 port and seems to hold a tune well. Just make sure you seal the backplate and carb. Good drivable power. Top end galore!!! Hey dan-o what kind of header and pipe do you run? I have my Ofna header and pipe on my FR 27 and it doesn,t fit the motor has a smaller exhaust port smaller than Ofna and it leaks. dan-o 05-10-2004, 01:21 PM nolan, I have ran the JP-1 pro pipe by ofna and now have the RB 9886 pipe on it currently (one piece) ...no problems with fit....the case is the same on the 27 and the 21 too. We had our 1 st series race at r n l this past saturday...2 8th scales with fantoms in them and looked great for top end and maybe a little soft on the bottom, they needed to be clutched with 1.1 springs as these 2 only had the 1.0 springs in them. That should bring the snap back in the bottom. I'm running the stock springs of the Force 26 motor springs and clutches seem OK for now. I like this motor plenty of to end.
