So then Mike, what was it??????????
I guess a little of everything, that a dumb "rookie" didn't see the 1st time he put the electronics on the car, 'cause he was so excited to get it ready to drive it... lol

More seriously (even if the above statement might be true), I don't really know. But re-starting from scratch, and trying to have every "piece of the puzzle" as it should be in a perfect world definitely helped it.
And I actually know, now, how a throttle linkage should look like and be set up... Learning, learning, learning... That's good !

I Still think that the servo doesn't move as much as it should even with the trim at the max, but hopefully it should be fine to give Chad and Jason hard time next week (???) lol...:dude:

CU next sunday, for a lot of fun, and THAT is for sure...

Yeah, doesn't it make ya happy you're not driving something with a big gas guzzling V-8 that only runs only on premium at $2.18 a gallon? Wow, and to think..... if you have a 22 gallon tank, it'll cost you a whopping $48.00 just to fill it up every time!!! And if it only get's like 14 or 16 MPG.........

Hey Johnny Boy- you don't need a gas guzzling V-8 to feel the pinch with gas prices. Sandy and my cars both get over 30 mpg, and the prices STILL suck wind! I have an idea but of course the gas companies won't do it because it will cut into their profits... Why not cut out the two lower grades of gas? Only make premium, but with no other grades it should cost less, right? I mean, they say most of the cost is in refining the gas (yeah, right), wouldn't it be cheaper to refine only ONE grade as opposed to three?

What about a 40 gal tank, 12 gal in the big mower, 5 in the small, 5 gal mix gas & 5 gal reg gas for backup........fill and repeat every 5 days.

Thats 67 gallons each week

$132.66 per week (that does not include my car and the wifes car)

This summer will suck and may affect the amount of 30% nitro I can afford.:(

Anyway good to see some of you on track building day, sorry we could not stay longer. My son has had his truck started but I have not yet. I am working on our moto cross track this weekend so I do not think I will make it. Plus its mothers day. I guess I could try to come out tonight if I can and run a few practice laps, not sure, I will have to see how much nitro I have.

Have a good one, I am off to burn some more gas. (I heard $2.25 by Memorial day)

John Warner

$2.25 by Memorial day? WoW! Come to think of it, I guess
even $2.25 isn't all that bad when you consider we're paying
about $28.00 or $30.00 a gallon for the fuel to run our toys with!!!!!

I am running the prototype FR 21 in my Mugen MT and it runs well. So the production engine should be better. Some of the R&L guys have these and they like it. It is a 3 port and seems to hold a tune well. Just make sure you seal the backplate and carb. Good drivable power. Top end galore!!!
