Can anybody tell me who I can get a personal transponder from? Obviously from AMB, but what about some other hobby shop or something?

One of the racers by the name of Jason Bush has them.
He sells them for $83.00 each. (same as AMB) I have
his phone number if you want it.

I was thinking along the lines of maybe a wet bar, bikini waitresses, "live entertainment", flush toilets....

I looked into it I have a Tmaxx 2.5 and I like how the suspension is on the Revo but I think it is to new to see how durable it will be. But for the price and what the Revo comes with it is not a bad buy.

I think it would be cool getting one of those Revo's and putting that new Picco P2 in it. That is what I am putting in my Tmaxx.

I would be carefull with those picco motors.I have had nothing but problems with mine.Yha there the only one who makes a .21 small block, but they already have a backplate recall for them.

Ya I've been doing a lot of looking into on this motor. I was going to get the Fantom 18. But for the around the price I could get this Picco. The have said they have fixed that issue hopefully. It was mostly caused by the Traxxas starting system but what I did with my current 2.5 was put one of those roto starts on it which lighten the truck and less problems, which this will mount on the back of the Picco motor too.

Hey G- maxx last year the tire to have was the Proline Lugnuts but this year the track is going to be a totally new surface so if that will still be the best I am not sure we will have to see.

Hummmmm..... I didn't bother to mention what I'd be hunting for now did I?? Secondly, I may in fact be to old as you say, but that didn't stop me from playing last season, nor did it stop me from joining a team in Middleville this season. So there..... Remind me to hit ya with my cane next time I see ya!! I might forget at my age with the memory thing and all. LoL!

John Warner
04-25-2004, 12:42 PM
Oh yeah... bowling,
(I forgot to address that one)

Since during the winter I spend almost every
Tuesday evening, Thursday evening,
Saturday, Saturday night, and Sunday
at the track, that doesn't leave me much free
time.
So.....
I joined a Thursday evening Father-son
no-tap league with my son this spring.

This is a message from Rich's wife-
they ARE out at the mud pile, so if anyone wants to go out to help to get racing going for next week opening seasoning you better get out there. They need all the help cuz' one of Chad's tractors took a dump.

Well I want to thank all the guys for comming out and helping today,Special thanks to garth for bringing out the heavy equipment, with out him there would been 2 track buliding days. The track is fromed in and most of the jumps are in.There will be a few more jumps put in on the back side. Also the track surface is much different from last year.Even with the track wet it was very hard.It was very hard to work with.We had run some buggys on it to check the jumps and well I have a broken wing and a blown clutch spring, noland brok his fron suspension and eric bent a 3.5mm shock. So that will tell a bit on the track surface. Also the front straight is 140 ft long so a 14 or 15t clutch bell is in order. The track is very flowing and it going to make for a very fast track.Track watering will be cut back as well as the rakeing and reforming.I think we are in for a great year.See yha on sunday!

cjzalsman
04-25-2004, 07:51 PM
instead of my buggy wing, I think I,m going to put the wing off my old p-41 on to clear that back jump.

04-25-2004, 08:19 PM
Aaaahhh come on now,Its not that big,Yup on the broken cluch spring.I need to grind the clutch nut inorder for it to work right with out it grinding the clutch bell.On order 14t,15t clutch bell, wing, new starter box, front arms, rear arms, shock shafts. That ought to cover it.

04-25-2004, 08:45 PM

04-25-2004, 09:00 PM
Bow-ties ,and edge fronts. There will be a open pratice this saturday.Bring a rake cuz the track needs some more smoothing out.So bring your stuff and your rakes and well get here smothed out and do some tuning!

Hey guys,
As you can see I'm back.
Sorry I didn't know that the track buildaing day was today. I didn't check the posts until this afternoon around 4pm... Was kind of too late to plan to come and help you out. Hopefully I will be there next saturday to help finishing the details...

Other than that, the time out in the west was GREAT!!! You guys have a nice country...
I took some great pictures (about 450 pictures total...) and have a thousands of unreal landscape in my mind. What a blast...
Anyway, I'm sure I will enjoy racing at WOOR as much as I had good time out there. That tells a lot about the fun I have at WOOR with you guys !!! Can't wait any longer now that I heard you ran on the track today...

Hopefully my car will be ready for next WE. I still have to pick up a connecting rod for my OS before I can break it in and join you...

Anyway, sounds like you had fun today guys... And got a little crazy and broke some stuff... Humm, I see...:freak:

I will try to come as early as I can next saturday...
Mike

I only broke minor stuff, got it fixed already. The clutch nut was not made for alunium(spelling) shoes.Next got to soften up the suspension a bit and I think that it will be all set. Also got to do a bit more tuning to the motor. The hotest it got today was 185 and it was running a bit fat on the bottom end.I will be there saturday and sunday to get the tuning down and get the track in shape for racing.
