Goodluck geting a response from Customworks. We used to sell their parts but lack of parts and bad customer support was the last straw. I wouldn't get too excited about buying one of their pan cars. I went through this same issue with Trinity 3 years ago with the Switchblade. If it does come out you'll probably won't be able to get parts for it if you break it. We were hoping when Tony bought Customworks things would be better. So far nothing has changed.

Ken, things will be just fine for us racers, be paitent. Custom works will have a fine car for us shortly. I heard (from a great source) the pancar graphite was to be cut during the week, and the rest of the kit was ready some time ago. If I were a betting man, I'd say we'll have our cars in a couple of weeks ;)

I don't think it's fair to compair them to Trinity, the least we can do is give them the benifiet of the doubt.

There comming, and if you don't have, one you'll wish you did ;)

Custom Works should receive the graphite for the new dirt cars this week as they were in line first and then the new pan car graphite should follow.

So...still no graphite for the pan cars....I think I will just stay with my KSG....I can Imagine how tough parts will be to get for this car.......If it ever comes out....

I know it isn't fair to compare them to Trinity but Customworks has had problems with parts and customer service.

WOW, I wouldnt compare anything or anyone to TRINITY!!!!

Just remember one thing, they rule the dirt, and soon enough they will rule the carpet and asphault too.

Good things come to those who wait. Just think about all of the great cars from Associated that we waited up to a year for. I know Arnie and Rob pretty well and I am sure they are doing there best to get cars into our hands. Don't forget even though Custom Works is a name we've all known for years, Tony only bought them about a year ago.

I can understand the wait for a new car. But what the problem is no one from Customworks responds to e-mails, phone calls and letters. It's like no one cares about their distributors who makes them money.

Hello All,
Thank you for your interest in the new Aggressor Oval car. If all goes well we hope to be shipping this kit in about 5 weeks. Much of the delay in getting this kit completed has been due to the delayed release of our new GBX series Dirt Oval kits. We have always been known for the quality and completeness of our kits and we will never change that. The GBX cars have required some redesigning to make them as versatile, competetive and inexpensive as possible and unlike other manufacturers we will not release a kit untill it is absolutely right. I realize than many of you are anxious for these kits to come out but I can assure you that no one is more anxious than we are. To be completely honest here we have not collected one penny from anyone for any of these kits so aside from being anxious im not sure anyone has a reason to be upset or angry.
Regarding the Aggressor kit itself, you again have to realize that this car was simply a piece of paper 7 months ago. As I mentioned above we could have made a car, won the snowbirds, and sold a car that quick but we knew that the car was not as good as it could be in that stage. In our continued develpment throught the spring and this past summer we developed several changes that will make this a much better car than the original design.

KenBajdek - I can assure you that we care about our customers and the hobby shops that sell our products. In the past year we have moved the company cross country, developed 5 new car kits, hired several new employees, sponsored several races and resumed advertising in national magazines. So contrary to your statement above ALOT has changed here since Tony bought the company. I will certainly agree that we have had a few problems with delays in getting some parts on occasion. It does happen and a lot of times these things are out of our control, but it happens with all businesses and in all industries. As far as not answering email letters and phone calls I don't know how you could have had such a problem. Due to the amount of emails we receive they are not always answered immediately but they are always answered as soon as possible. I would appreciate if you could email me directly with the name of the shop you are associated with and any specific problems you have had. You can email me directly at CustomWorksRC@aol.com and I can assure you I will respond to you.

Thank you all for your continued support.

Respectfully,

Rob Cutman

i have owned some custom works kits, presently also. granted everyone is impatient, but cw is going to do things right. i do agree with cutman. they have done alot more with the company since stewart bought them. also try to get a e-mail back from trinity, u'll be getting nothing there. at least cw comes on the boards every now, and then to answer questions. as far as parts i haven't had one issue. if people are going to whine keep it to urself. as far as a trinity car......lol... i won't go there. i have seen custom works cars around for years. they are built to last. keep up the good work cw.

Everyone that is involved in business especially racing in general knows that
you have to wait if you want quality parts. In the business I work for we have
to wait 12-14 weeks for specialty parts. I have seen the CW car in person and
they will have a quality car that will compete with anybodys car currently available
just give them time to get everything in order.

Rob, thanks for replying. I'm glad my voice was heard. I sent you an e-mail. Hopefully this new car will sell well along with the other parts. Thank you again!

It looks like things are changing for the better over there.
