Is the Motor mount plate the assoc style,with those no room for a big spur slots in it?

pepe: Not assoc style, have run every spur and pinion, racing foam tires and caps, and every class (stock, 19 turn, and mod) and have never been close to having anything get "close" in the pod.

RC driver mag advertises the new CW chassis and has a feature article that also mentions it (Snowbirds) but the latest poop is their web site that says the projected release date is now "sometime in mid June." Sigh; guess I can wait a little longer to add this baby to my growing collection.

No kit was available at BMS, trust me no one wants the parts to get here faster then me!

I am apologize to all those waiting for the kit, and for the mid-June time frame, if you told me back in February the car would not be out by now I would say you're crazy. My word (as far as the release date) is not worth much at this point. If you dare to trust me again, within the next 6 weeks it will be out.

So whats the hold-up? Some may know that we also, in the next few weeks, will be releasing our Enforcer GBX (Sprint Car) and Intimadator GBX (Dirt Modified or Late Model) as well. These two projects were in the works well before the pan car was even an idea, and so those parts are being cut before the pan car for that reason. Once those parts are cut, pan car parts will be falling out of the machine minutes later.

We appreciate all the interest in our cars those of you have shown since its Snowbirds debut and look forward to the coming days of answering tech questions instead of "when" questions.

Dadgone, Tony Stewart was at the track and ya'll didn't tell me??? LOL Arnie, though we didn't get introduced, I was the lone female at the Asheville race that was foaming at the mouth over the Custom Works car! However, I have decided that I'm not gonna be qualified to even turn a wrench on a car like that for 10 more years, but I could be talked into finding a good chassis man! LOL

Any of you guys that have seen this car run, are they running a steel spring T-plate on it, do you know if the kit is going to come wth one?

I know Arnie was running spring steel on his car at Seaford this past weekend. As far as what is or is not to be included in the kit You would have to speak to one if the C/W's drivers.

P.S. however I would expect to see a fiberglass t-plate included in the kit to keep the street price of the kit down to compete with everyone else's on the market. Also the fact that you can get fiberglass to work just about anywhere.

Steve, what kind of track is it & how did the car perform at the race ?

Meineke- It was a asphalt low banked tri-oval. About a 330' runline. They run foams. Their team driver Arnie Fie won 19T. They had highly competitive cars in both stock and 19T. That being said I must plug my teammate Matt Tyson won stock with a Hyperdrive and I took Third. I'm pretty sure Doug P. was running a C/W car ended up second. Any car can be fast with the right setup. Hope this helps.

is it true that the front end that will be in the kit is a beam front end. and will you be offering it with a swizzle stick. one more thing can you run it on dirt because i like to run both dirt and concrete.:confused:

Anyone know what the retail and street price is possibly going to be? I'm sure it's getting old to keep hearing the same questions over and over again, but i've got to know how much overtime is going to be in my future:)

who cares: You can run this car both in the dirt or on pavement, just like the car you have now when you crash in the infield. You may also me interested in the 4wd conversion for this car as well. It should be out next week, then I'll tell you different then. :)

Last news i heard from Customworks was 2 weeks pricing will be available, and 6 weeks until Distribution of the New pan oval car. I recevied this info directly from Customworks, they said to keep checking the website for updates soon.

I saw this car at the snowbirds and really like it, and that was the prototype. I'm goin to assume it will be a everything you need to be competitive type kit, like the KSG kits are, all the "hop-ups" in one box :thumbsup:

Cool. As long as you don't run at Kranzels you would be ok. He don't let anything run their that he don't make or others can't buy. He wouldn't let me run my badger car from back in the day since the tranny setup they used was so much faster than any other car. Only car with a transmission to really be able to run with the direct drive CW vars back in the day.
For all of Daves faults, (he has quite a few..LOL!)..you can not blame him for not allowing the badger..by every sanctioning bodies rules the badger tranny car is illegal...the trannys NEVER met minimum production quotas, for availability.
most tracks have them banned and only allow them to run if NO one objects.
the direct drive car is legal, and should he disallow that he IS wrong. the badger tranny being supior is questionable too, I ran against a badger at a track who allowed it to run, useing B3's stealth, and RR 2.65 trannies....no problem beating it....an open gear tranny in the dirt is never a good idea...the guy who ran it had to rebuild weekly...well disassemble and clean...but I did a quick blow off with the air compressor, and still managed to keep a good 6 spot lead on him in points, till he went to running a terminator, and closed the gap some

About the PAN CAR...How about it??? Are they ready to cut the PAN CAR graphite??? I know the GBX comes first, but I'd like a new update. I'm waiting for 2 kits, I have all my new stuff on the bench, but no Graphite :cry:
