Well Casey, I see you are busy at work ATTEMPTING to catch me in the posts per day thing. I will always prevail! HAHAHA
Yeah I know I forgot the trans, I was in such a hurry becasue I was already late, that I forgot it sitting on your card table. Not to mention that you still have my straping tape for batts. I want it back, I can't find that thin stuff anymore. I can get my power strip from you when we are in the Soo, plus don't forget I still got a $10 credit! You got pulled over again. Maybe you need to start riding your e-maxx everywhere, atleast then you wouldn't get a ticket on the highway! See you in the Soo, and thanks for the bagels, had one this morning for breakfast! :)

Joel: You know, even with me calling you "casey" all day (you never did throw any of casey's stuff at me!) your still pretty nice to me. Just so you know, the bagels are good. I don't even have to cut them!! Glad you were able to come down and have fun. Even though this was not a "trophy" race it was still the biggest race that MP has ever had (even if it was an odd tri-oval on 3 colored carpet!), and you guys made it even better!

Mel: Wanted to thank you for your help again, and wanted to make sure you got your shock back. I set it on your pit table during your main, thank for its use, again! :) Also, those batts I got from you, those are good batts for me. I ran them and they are a step up for me, also my roomate was looking to get a couple of those 2400's from you, like the 2 that I got from you from Power Push.

George: I put up with enough of your crap on Saturday, that most would think I was crazy for wanting to go to the Soo with you, I guess it isn't all bad, I just give it back. Can't wait for the Soo! And just think, now that you have a pan car race under your belt, you can borrow mine for the soo and then I can race and beat Casey in Touring Car with HIS motor and battery! Wouldn't that be fun! :D

Jamie, nice to put another face to a name on the board. I think I could learn more than a few things just from watching you race...your way fast!

Well guys, it was a good race. Joel I am glad you made it home at a decent time, and George, did you ever find your grocery list????

Mel Remeber my shock problem I think it was because I migt have built them wrong. They had a pretty good rebound of almost the whole length when I rebuilt them so that was probably the culprit.

Hello all. It seems that everyone had a good time Saturday. I was busier than a one-armed paper hanger, and it showed in my performance.

Joel, I really did not get to talk to you much, probably because of the two pitting between us. I guess I will have to find some paint thinner or goo gone to get the label off the motor before the next race:devil:

Casey, It sounds like you are rehearsing for that commercial where the guy trys to bribe the cop into writing him up for doing 190. Thanks for the use of your servo.

Mel, Thanks for the great deal on the sprint cars. I really appreciate you thinking of me.

Now for you Rowley, I am holding you personally responsible for my poor performance in pan car. You should have known that I was pan car illiterate, and set my car up for me. You should have especially warned me about the nose drag due to the lack of a bumper, and my liberal (oh how I hate that word) cutting of the wheel openings. Also, I don't have a pan car race under my belt, because in three heats I had a total of three and half minutes. I have a short piece of anchor chain that I will hook up between the front and back of the car to keep the valance off the track:lol: I think that I should have pitted closer to Kevin, because every time he came by my pit he fixed something. Unfortunately I didn't take notes.
Last but certainly not least, Yes I did find the grocery list. That should help keep me in her good graces til my next screw up.

PS I am attaching a pic of my three grandsons that are gracing our humble home with there prescence for Easter break. The pics show that I did not get the dust cleaned up very well. (spots on lens). They are doing laps around my work bench in the shop. The one in the redwing jacket can tell you anything you want to know about nascar, especially Dale Jr. The one on the left is on a "Barbie" bike. It was not very popular until I put the number 24 on it. If no one hears from me in the next few days, please send the PD to identify the bodies:lol:

Casey, I dunno if I'm racing TC or what in the Soo, I will be racing E-Maxx I know that for sure!!! I'm willing to let George drive my X-13 in pan, and then I can race TC. I would really like to try road course, I've driven my TC3 about 20 times now and all on an oval, what a waste of such a capable car. If my roomate goes he will probably race my tc and I will be in pan. If George races my X-13 then he will be driving two classes, both my cars. He is borrowing my XXX-T to run stock truck. Jon isn't open this week until Wed for some reason. I have to wait another 24 hours before I can even think of driving that E-Maxx! Oh well. If you make it in 2:15, then remind me to NEVER ride with you!

George, you mind if my roomate goes? Makes things cheaper for us, you wanna race my pan car? It makes it through heats and mains w/ out breaking EVEN with my hack driving. I will even leave the motor that is in it in the car, it has a label, and it is fast! Although probably not as fast as yours....... If my roomate goes, and you race my pan, I will be racing E-maxx, and if I can convince Casey, maybe an L3O........What do you say Casey?

Casey, your gonna get e-mail.

Well George, glad to see those little monsters haven't killed you yet. You can race my X-13, but you have to call it Regina! Thats right, I'll let you race my car, all you gotta do is call it Regina! I have SOME parts for it to fix it if you break it. But if you do anything to the front suspension then you will have to distract Casey while I snag a front end from him. :)

Hey all! It took a while to get the hang of that track Sat. Made changes on the car every race and it was getting better. One more heat and it would have been a better third place car than it was. I've been chasing them guys ever since I started racing. I get faster but they get faster to. I need to find about six seconds.
Jake can you spare a bagel? I might bring my TC3 to the Soo.
George I hope you do well with them cars.
Casey them schocks are worth a pack of them goooood batteries, don't you think? Also I don't think I will hitch a ride with you. If I want to fly I will take a plane.
Joel Sorry for giving you the fender. I sure wasn't trying to move you like that. You have picked it up since I last raced with you.
Scott I will see you in the Soo.
Jamie I need some speed. A few tenths here and there will work just fine. Later all.

James Hanson
04-02-2002, 08:14 PM
Mel man, you are ballistic. But so was Greg. And me, good lord that is the best I have run in months. Everywhere I have gone I have been chasing kieth and greg. They beat me by LAPS. I think you have plenty of speed. Going to make it up to Traverse this weekend? This summer we will have to race sedans. Better get your 12th scale ready too for Bay City. Drop me a line if you want a setup for it.

rowle1jt
04-03-2002, 11:22 AM
Mel, I don't know how "popular" this decision will be, but, in the Soo I know I will be racing E-Maxx and probably TC. I like pan, but I really want to try my TC3 on a road course. It is kinda sad that I have had the car for 4+ months, and raced it on a carpet oval. I'll let George or my roomate run my X-13. I would love to try 12 scale as well, but I dunno. Casey will probably keep me busy as he somehow adopted me as his pit-bit@#! LoL See you soon!

YOu will have Plenty of time to run all the classes you want. I just needed to work on those cars you got not the ones I am racing. That is what Jamie is for LOL.
You should be able to get a 1/12 built out of what you have down there.

Hey Jake, as long as you are up, help me with a tire question. My wife is down below delivering what is left of my grandsons to their parents, and a tire on her car split. Real car that is. I have tried every search engine on my puter, and can't find anything on Republic tires. Any one have a suggestion.

rowle1jt
04-04-2002, 12:28 AM
gimme a few......republic is the brand? do you have a model?

kingpin
04-04-2002, 12:33 AM
Republic Weather King
My son says that is all he can read on the tire. The whitewalls were turned inside and they are hard to read. It was Quality farm and fleets top of the line tire, but it may be made by some other company than Republic. Thanks

Well George, I can usually find that kind of stuff. My roomate is sitting here, that is a combined power of 3 geeks, that came up with nothing. :( I count for 1.25 geek and he is 1.75 geek, he knows much more than me about computers and the internet..... Good luck, just do the right thing, if you really love your wife then just go buy her some new GOODYEARS! The only tire (goodyears) that goes on my real truck......and I'm picky about EVERYTHING on my truck!
Good luck!

Consider it yours, for two days. My roomate is going....yoo-hoo cheaper room! Can you call and get a roll away, he is a nice guy but I don't he will want to share a bed with you. :) I was thinking we could all put a set amount of $ in pot (or enevlope) and use that for gas and hotel, what is left over split three ways. I can't think of a more fair way to do it can you? I will get the X-13 around, will you be using my body or do you have on that will fit it?
Good luck on the tires!

Can't let this thread slip onto the DREADED second page, I would never know where to find it!

Mel, I'm real happy with the batteries I got from you. Been putting through some tests and such at home and the numbers on the Millenium don't look to bad. I think they will be good packs for me, they just aren't good enough for you.... :p

My battery status satruday went through the roof! I went from:

(2) Pro-Match Sanyo 3000's
(1) Perf Eng 2400
(1) Panasonic 3000
(1) Pro-Match 2000

I sold the Panasonic 3000, and got those three 2400's from you and the Pro-Match SMH3000 that I got Casey.

(1) Pro-Match SMH3000
(2) Pro-Match Sanyo 3000's
(1) Pro-Match 2400
(2) Power Push 2400's
(1) Perf Eng 2400
(1) Pro-Match 2000

I'm sitting pretty for batteries, for now.
