Yeh George I'll be there ready to race I'm looking forward to it!! A friend may come along who I've been trying to get interested in it for a long time. We raced full size against each other for a long time so lets hope I can sink the hook big time.

It is any Roar approved mod that we run
Mostly I was going to run about a 14x2 or 12x2
I was thinking about putting my 9 single or 8x2 in for some fun though
The drive line for The mod truck is about 175

Dave Z would be the guy to talk to about the track. I do not know to much. It is very little banking. Maybe 5 degrees on the front and 7 on the back. The back is D-shaped. Runline is about 375 I think. 6.7 second laps is what I did the one time I was there. It is a 1/4 scale track and I think they run 8 cars at a time, so it is a HUGE track. A lot of fun. Tires I have no idea. I believe BSR blues and greens. I will have to call Tony and see about the TM caps.

This is from Promacth's website

We do not recommend dead shorting NI-MH cells!

When discharging all NI-MH packs wait until the day before you are going to use them. Discharge them using either a set of 10-12 #1157 automotive light bulbs using a cutoff device such as the Pro-Switch, a Turbo Thirty/Five, or some similar discharge device. Right before charging them back up, place them into an "equalization" tray.* Not all trays on the market are of this type. There are some trays that "dead short" the cells. These trays are not recommended for use with our cells. We developed the Smart Tray II specifically to achieve the best performance possible from our cells.
*Note: We recommend using an equalization tray once a month. Do not leave the cells on the tray for more than 20 minutes. Leaving cells in the tray longer will cause significant loss of run time in the packs.

Some charge should always be left in all NI-MH cells if you don't plan on using them for more than a few days. The longer you wait between uses the more charge you should leave in them. If you don't plan on using them for a couple of weeks the I recommend leaving at least a 10% charge in them. If you plan on not using them for a month or more, I would fully charge them before storing them. After long term storage, the day before you plan on using the pack(s) discharge and equalize them the same as stated above. Then remove them from the tray and start charging them. Expect some temporary decrease in performance after long periods of inactivity. After cells are run a few times the performance should be restored.
