So George, when is your new company going to start shipping Legends parts? :D

I found it interesting that he said it was for health reasons, then said he was going racing. Too sick to work, but not to play???

kingpin
01-30-2004, 08:10 PM
Kevin, You are showing your age when you are surprised at the idea of:
" Too sick to work, but not to play??? " And speaking of age, just how old are you. I have a son who is 42, and I am sure that you are much older than him. Say, who's older, you or sweet old Mel???

Nope, it ain't my company.... Yet :p

Still hoping for some of the spoils though.

It is too bad that Scott A is giving up the hobby. He is one of the good guys. Did some trading and some racing with him. In fact he was the first one to call me Legend George. Thanks Scott for good times, friendship, fair trades and fun.

Chuck, I hope you read this, We ARE NOT Racing this Sat. anymore. Too many people had others things to do so we cancelled the race last Fri.

With the I-500 snowmobile race going on we lost a couple that go to that then Casey is in Florida at the snowbirds,Big Rob is whipped so his woman told him he was taking her out, Russell is downstate cuz his mom is having surgery tomorrow. Needless to say our numbers would ahve been really low so we decided to save ourselves some money and cancel the race.
I thought I had notified everybody that wasn't at the last race, You normally can't come to our races in the begining of the month so I didn't e-mail you.
Sorry chuck, It won't happen again, Joel

Also on Stock truck we allow Foams and on TC too

Hey Chuck, Thanks for the input.
Our local guys are pretty set in their ways, They like running roadcourse.
They hate it when we have our Oval trophy race and the warm-up cuz they have no choice but to run oval.
We just don't have the people to offer two different stock truck classes.
Like Casey said, we will be offering a Modified Truck Oval class at our trophy race.
Just so I don't forget to tell you, the date of our Trophy Race at the end of the year IS going to change. Our trophy race will not be the 24th of April anymore. The reason for the change is due to the amount of people downstate that can't come for the 24th because that is the date of Mount Pleasants race. I was going to run on the 24th anyway but Casey and I went to Mount pleasant last sat. for their race there were at least 8-10 people that said if was on another day that they would come. All of these guys have been up here at one time or another to race with us, and really like coming up here to our race. Most of them are involved in the poiints series in Mt. Pleasant and won't be up if we don't change our date so I am changing the date.
I should know by monday what that date will be. I am shooting for May 1st. The weekend after where the race is scheduled now.

I will let everyone know as soon as I do.
Later and see some of you tomorrow, Joel
