That Rotten little Hansen kid smoked the 19T guys again. How did the new Spec class work out Kevin? I see Rick played with them a little bit(sandbagger).lol Wish we could get half that many people to show up to race up here. I guess if we had a hobby shop that actually carried racing stuff like Jon does we might have more people. Looks like you guys had a good time down there. What are the rest of the race dates for Mt. pleasant, I would like to trey to make it down to at least 1 race, but I'm not sure what the rest of the schedule looks like. Later, Joel kingpin 12-23-2003, 04:39 PM Hi Joel, Asking Kevin how he liked the spec pan class is like asking me how to drive a mod terminator pro. Kevin is convinced that 4 cell stock pan is beneath the dignity of a legend driver. He did however help me set up my car for the race, and continued to tweak it all day (as usual). Many of our more experienced drivers help or adopt the newbies. Kevin adopted me 13 years ago, and much to his chagrin, I haven't turned out too well. Note to Kevin - I won't tell the above to anyone else, don't want to ruin your reputation. Actually the spec pan started off ok for a first race. We all expect to do much better next month. At least we expect to beat our legend stats. As for Rick racing this class, he is like me. He has so much spec stuff that it would be a waste not to run. We had 22 legend entries on one date last winter, either Feb. or Mar., and we could have more than that this year. I have averaged at least one legend sale per race date this season, so there are several new local legend drivers more than there were last year. Would like to see you and your friends in MP, the remaining dates are: JAN 24 2004 FEB 21 2004 MAR 20 2004 APR 24 2004 George kevinm 12-23-2003, 07:24 PM .... Kevin is convinced that 4 cell stock pan is beneath the dignity of a legend driver. .... :D Good one, George! Actually, what I REALLY think is that 4-cell stock pan car is for people who can't handle Legends. Promatchracer 01-02-2004, 03:05 AM Anybody Home Or is everybody playing with there snowmobiles chuck47 01-02-2004, 05:32 PM Playing with the snowmobiles or just maybe fine tuning the car for the next race I just found 5 more on the power band so now I'm up to 55  WIGMAN 01-04-2004, 03:50 PM Hey there guys, We had another good day of racing in the Soo yesterday, or at least I did, 2 weeks in a row, I guess my luck has come back for a little while. I won't be able to make it, We have a race that day up here, even if I wasn't already racin' I most likely wouldn't be able to come as I am laid off and Marvin doesn't pay me well enough to travel to races. Hopefully if Nick has the State Champs again this year I will be able to go to that one. I would like to make it to a Mt. Pleasant race this year too, was planning on it till I got laid off, now we have to wait to see how quickly Marvin gets my checks to me and see how ends are meeting. I will post the points in my next post. Later, Joel WIGMAN 01-05-2004, 10:11 PM Here is what the points situation looks like up in the Soo.
