Roadsplat 10-06-2003, 12:27 PM Which 19t motor is the one to get? Kisbey? Putman? I need to get to run at the Regionals. Thanks RC t3rc1 10-06-2003, 02:33 PM Joel.Kevin was under the impression that you were running a 19 turn class.Mike calvin and some of the others were looking forward to running 19 turn. They say they are going to run the points series but that remains to be seen. Scott WIGMAN 10-06-2003, 06:02 PM Scott, I'm not sure where he heard it but I never said it. I saw Calvin this weekend and he asked what we were running, I told him stock and he said that's cool, also told me he was planning on running the whole points series up here. The only races I was planning on having a 19t class was our trophy races to try and draw some more of the downstate crowd. If we had enough people to make it worth while to have 2 different pancar classes that would be cool, I ran 19t this weekend in T.C. and it rocked, but I can't see us running both all the time up here. If we go to 19t only we will be back where we were (parts breakage wise) that we were before we started running 4-cell stock instead of 6. we will discuss it at the first race and see what happens. Later, joel rowle1jt 10-06-2003, 06:19 PM Ray, Get the Kisbey. Thats my opinion, the Epic Quad Magnet Outlaw is fast also, but its not ROAR legal. :( I have a Kisbey and aMighty, haven't run the Kisbey yet but many do and they are fast. My Mighty runs real good I think. :) t3rc1 10-06-2003, 07:21 PM Hey Joel.I cant call ya cause i dont have long distance on my phone, trying to cut cost's.I know Mike was here a couple of weeks ago and i guess he told kevin to have jake run 19 turn along with him.Maybe that trophy race thing was misunderstood and we thought there was going to be 19 turn class.I personally dont care to run six cell or 19 turn because of the breakage theory and the fact that i am still running a Wood car and parts are in short supply. We are really pumped for saturday and it cant come fast enough.Stock is just fine and fun as hell with 4 cell.Gotta run and cycle my packs so i'll talk to ya later ok.See ya all saturday. Scott t3rc1 10-06-2003, 09:01 PM Oh by the way, hope someone has a tire truer cause i think the shaft on mine is bent and my tires are not comming out right. They seen to be a little off and i tried doing them a couple of times but they still wobble a little.I would really appreciate the use of one to get my tires ROUND so i dont bounce down the track :freak: .Looking forward to seeing you all saturday at the races  . Scott Promatchracer 10-08-2003, 01:33 AM Hey Scott I got me a nice Max Mod you can use if you Help me at the races Alos thanks for the Props on the Batteries I am selling under the Swap and sell section They are 1.17+ packs so They are really good Later t3rc1 10-09-2003, 02:37 PM Hey guys.I moved so i am no longer at charter and my old email address wont work anymore.Lots of problems on the home front so i am no longer there.Talk to ya all later. Scott(t3rc1) Promatchracer 10-09-2003, 06:02 PM Scott do we get to guess what your new e-mail is Man Scott I just got my new packs in for Regionals and they are awesome I ordered to many though I didn't reliaze I had that many on back order So I will be posting them soon to sell Can't wait to see you guys Saturday hock 10-10-2003, 08:31 AM I'm fired up and ready for reg 5 t3rc1 10-10-2003, 12:54 PM Just signed up and got a hotmail account. It is azbell3@hotmail.com See ya all saturday Scott Promatchracer 10-12-2003, 01:22 PM Hi guys Just wanted to say nice seeing you all again See you on Nov 8th rowle1jt 10-12-2003, 05:27 PM Casey. got your voice mail....sorry I couldn't call back. :( I told Nick what you asked me to in the VM. mel 10-12-2003, 07:42 PM So where are the results. Where did Casey finish? We don't want him bringing a bad race car down here this coming weekend and if it was he better get to work on it. See Ya! Promatchracer 10-12-2003, 09:44 PM Mel I had a REAL bad day Big Rob and Joel beat me in all 3 classes I will call you tomorrow Jake does that mean Rob and I are signed up Rob is coming for sure now Later rowle1jt 10-12-2003, 11:15 PM So you drove like Casey today..... LoL Just jerking your chain. That sounds about like how I am driving lately..... poorly. :( I told nick, and he said "ok". So he knows.....not much else I can do. Promatchracer 10-12-2003, 11:39 PM Yea I drove bad I also forget my pan car body Just never saw it when I was packing I had an Old Intriped body I ran and the wing was lose as a $2 hooker Really sucked Truck wasn't to bad The rear end was lose and coming around when I let off the throttle in a turn (see what happens when I don't go full bore) I figured out how to drive it with the MARS setup on it and foam tires though I only had about 45 sec left in the main when I figued it out though LOL E-maxx I was traction rolling big time and just flipping it over on its back when I would start again if I didn't watch it Mel your packs are on the way you should have them MOnday or tuesday Also I have some more 1.17+ cells and some 1.18+ cells I don't know what to charge for the 1.18's Promatch doesn't have them on there site I looked up others and from what I can tell It will be $65 - $75 for a 4 cell pack The $75 pack is a 1.186 with 427 runtime and 13 ir What do you guys think Is that a decent price or should I just but them on E-bay I figured out with the price I paid and that is what it come out to also LMK I will have them at Regionals if I don't sell them first Promatchracer 10-12-2003, 11:41 PM Also forget to say the runtime is mostly over 420 I think I have 2 packs that are 416 or 417 So the time is there too WIGMAN 10-13-2003, 08:58 PM We had a pretty decent turnout for our first race of the year. Here are the results. Stock Truck "A" Main 1. Terry Baxter 2. Bob McMurphy TQ 3. Jacob Stoling 4. Calvin Viernes 5. Andy Hart 6. Casey Brake 7. Joel Wiggins 8. Jon Schuster E-Maxx "A" Main 1. Bob McMurphy TQ 2. Brant Seaman 3. Terry Haviland 4. Casey Brake Novice "A" Main 1. Terry Haviland TQ 2. Brant Seaman 3. Mike Fox 4-Cell stock Pancar "B" Main 1. Casey Brake 2. Kevin Ford 3. Terry haviland 4. Casey viau "A" Main 1. Calvin Viernes 2. Scott Azbell TQ 3. Joel Wiggins 4. Bob McMurphy 5. Jake Ford I must say the surprise of the day was Scott Azbell in Pancar, in the first 2 rounds his car was junk, he came out in the third qualifier and beat my Tq time by just over a lap. He lead the whole "A" main and lapped the field by the 44th lap then on his last lap he had a serious radio hit coming out of turn 1 and went straight into the pipe, by the time the marshall got to him Calvin had unlapped himself and came around to pass scott for the lead just as time ran out. If the racing in the first race is any indication of how the season is going to go we are gonna have one heck of a battle for the points this year. Thanks to all who came, our next race will be on Nov. 8th this will be an oval only race and the track will be BIG and not at all like last years trapezoid. This race will serve as a warm-up for our Oval troiphy race on Nov. 22nd. Later, Joel chuck47 10-13-2003, 09:16 PM Joel aren't you having a race on the 25th of October as it was on the original schedule, did something come up? Sounds like you hade some good racing  WIGMAN 10-13-2003, 09:41 PM Hey Chuck, No race on the 25th. There is a tool sale in the gym that week. That date was on the preliminary schedule I posted, A couple weeks later after I got stuff sorted out with the Big Bear I posted the new schedule. The only other changes to the preliminary one is that we are not Racing dec. 6th that race got moved to Dec. 13th Hope to see you here soon chuck. Have you been going to Green bay at all? Later, Joel chuck47 10-13-2003, 09:53 PM I'm bummed  I'll see you on the 22nd of November then :  Yep I've been to Green Bay twice now, it sure is nice to get back to racing  t3rc1 10-16-2003, 08:55 AM That sure was a great time in the Soo.If i could only have not been cursed by the evil glitch i could have won my first ever A-Main in pancar. It just made a very sharp left turn right into the inner pipe. But thats racing and i had a great time. The X15 was running the best it's ever run thanx to some tips from Mel and the other wisemen. Not to mention the 1.18 cells that promatch racer threw at me to run in the main  Thanx again Casey.See ya all in the Soo soon. Scott kevinm 10-16-2003, 06:26 PM Scott - I reworked my X-15 to use Associated parts in the read pod (which is basically the only non-replaceable bits). By drilling 2 new holes for the T-bar 1/4" back from the existing ones, you can use all L3O/L4O parts on the rear end. The only "fabrication" I had to do was to make a rear chassis brace/shock mount, because the Associated pod moves the shocks back to where the Woods body posts are. I can't ever remember anyone breaking the rear brace. So Now my backup car is a Woodsiated X-15L3O ! :D chuck47 10-16-2003, 06:50 PM Sounds like you hade a great time hey Scott it's really fun when your in the front I'm sure you were puckered :dude: WIGMAN 10-18-2003, 08:39 PM Remaining race days for the EUP R?C club in the soo November 8th Trophy Race Warm-up Oval Only!
