It's time to start thinking about the indoor season already.
As soon as Nick(hobby hub) gets the date for the Region 5 oval race(oct. sometime) I will have our schedule done.
So is everybody ready to go carpet racin!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I hope so cuz I will take a guess here and say we will be racing in about 2 months and a couple weeks.

I was beginning to wonder when this thread was going to start back up. I can not wait to start running oval again, because to be truthful, I really am bad at this offroad thing. I like traction and when I can not find it I become frustrated LoL. I know this weekend I plan on going to Grand Rapids to race oval in a parking lot. I have been told it was just re-paved and extremely smooth. Maybe I will see some of you there.

Jamie - You could come over to Grand Rapids and play on the new asphault on saturday. There's usually a heat of oval guys there (the usual suspects, EXCEPT FOR MEL).

Hey Guys, we're hosting an Oval race at the Car Capital Celebration on Sat Aug 16. I know it's kinda short notice, but I hope we can get a few of you out.

Track opens at 11am, racing at 1pm. 3 heats and a main. It's new asphalt, and I think the track will be at least 80' x 40'.

The address is 2215 E. Michigan Ave Lansing.

november 8th(trophy race)

febuary 7th and 28th
march 13th and 27th
april 10th and 24th(trophy race)

The schedule has been submitted to the big bear and is pending approval.

where is the new hobby shop?

It's right by the UP State Fair grounds,next to the econo host motel.It just opened but he is getting off to a great start.He held racing there during the fair and it really helped spread the word and he did great on sales.Just what we needed here,he is also getting us our trac compound,motors tires gears etc.There is also supposed to be a carpet oval there in the winter and road course.Kevin and i are furnishing our new ozite so we can race for free :thumbsup: .One hand scratches the other one i guess :lol: .
