Yeah I wish GR still had a track around. I am going to turn to offorad for the summer for the most part with an occasional trip to the Veledrome in INDY. Nothing beats cap tyres.

Mel, you and your fellow comrades are welcome at the Tri-Clone any time. They will be holding some special saturday night races this summer. There is nothing like running under the lights at the clone. Gonna be sweet.

I read above about racing in Ohio. Classic Hobbies in Akron, OH has just resurfaced their asphalt track. Real smooth and fast. Come on out and try it. Doors Open at noon and Racing starts at 5:00 every Saturday.

Hey Jake.

The little one looks good in your arms. Just think, in a year or so the little rug rat in your arms won't be a niece or nephew, it will be a legal dependent. If you don't know how that happens, shoot Mel an email and he can fill you in, that is, if he isn't so old that he doesn't remember. By the way, Lynda says that it is just about the prettiest one that she has ever seen. I asked her which one she was talking about, and got smacked.

Sold my last Sprinter on ebay today, that makes 3 in three weeks. Now I will only have two classes to worry about. Dan at Robby's told me that they had their first off road at Saginaw the other day and had a great turnout.

Yep it's been along time since I've been here also. Dyno yes I haven't used it yet, I've been setting up for motorcycle classes. DId one this weekend and today it sure was terrible, 40 degrees, windy, rain, and the rain was getting pretty hard  Mel there is a oval outside track in Grayling also don't forget about that one  Now Jake you look pretty comfortable there almost a natural I'd say, better bone up on that class

There is a new Hobby shop in the Area. It's called Northen Hobbies and Saturday was the first day they were opened. You Up guys now don't have to go all the way to milwaukee. They are a full hobbyshop selling planes trains and RC and some models and puzzles and said they are willing to order what you want. They have plans to have off-road racing next year but to put a off-road track in this year so kids can have fun playing. The owners are John and Dawn Demeny.

There location is in Suamico, Way out on Velp on a frontage road (offical address is 14440 Velp Ave). The quickest way to get there is to take 41 to County B (Where to get off for the Reforestation camp. Turn left on B. go to velp. Turn right. and drive up to the first overpass of 41 that you come to. Look Straight at the trail sales place and it's the small building with team losi banner on it. (hope you find them)

I think kingpin might have died and gone to heaven or some other place

Oh wait a minute, I am the kingpin

Been busy with yard work. Ain't spring fun. Oops, forgot, You live in an apartment. You probably don't even own a rake, shovel, hoe, wheel barrow, lawn mower, weed wacker, trowel, cultivator, spreader, Shed full of bags of fertilizer, lime, gypsom, soil sweetener, weed killer, seeds, mice, chipmunks, red squirrels and the occasional pole cat.

Hey that gives me an idea for a wedding present. What would you say to a nice well used rake and a pole cat??

I will check to see which email that I did not answer.

Know anyone who needs a legend? Summer deals are going fast :D

Also, Quit copying my drivers on Yahoo. You should have gone the full route with Johnson instead of Gordon. 17 points is 17 points.

You can't look at anyone else's team until after the race or quilifying when it is too late anyway...... You don't want to know my system for choosing drivers........

Yeah I wish GR still had a track around. I am going to turn to offorad for the summer for the most part with an occasional trip to the Veledrome in INDY. Nothing beats cap tyres.

Hey jamie, bring your cap tyres out to grand ledge.

Jake - Have you considered doing something REALLY RADICAL and actually RACING it? :p :D
Considered it, and then figured out that it is way more of a money pit then oval car, monster truck and gas truck combined. LoL

Been playing with the gas truck latley, gas is fun! And fast. No plans to race it, just bash, too mcuh screwing around all the time to race it. :)

That's why I never got into nitro. seems like once you get yours started. some one else stalls and it takes like 10 min to start the race.

The nitro truck is fun and a properly tuned engine stalls very rarely unless it is worn out or needs a plug. The only time mine has stalled is when I was having too much fun and didn't put fuel in it in time. :)

Oh I know.

I meant the racing I've seen with nitro's has been a Real pain in the a$$. takes forever to get one round done.

Jake - the TC3 is only expensive when you HIT things. :jest: In fact, it's alot more durable once you add the wider front bumper. Besides, even crashing is fun when you've got a 10-turn in it! C'mon down to Nick's next race (whenever that is???) and play.

Yeah, I have both BRP WIDE front and rear bumpers on it as well as the neff wings. I put those on and stopped breaking things, until RLK Hanson drove it in the Soo. :D LoL (Sorry Jamie, I had to say it!) You never know Kevin, I might do that. But isn't the Summer Classis an outdoor race? I don't want to get it dusty.... LoL In all honesty I haven't really tried to sell it, but there again, everything I own is for sale. For the right price.

Jake- you goin go cart racing Friday night before MARS?Heck no, three reasons:

1) I don't want to part with the $50 bucks to race it (I have this wedding thing coming up..... LoL)
2) I probably wouldn't fit, I am pretty tall after all. Right...... LoL
3) Don't want to make every one look bad with my superior (non R/C) driving skills. :D

What about you Zippy? You gonna try it out?

Ok, I am bored with this summer thing already. I want to race.

I hope that anyone who hears that there is going to be carpet racing somewhere will post it here.

I would also like a chance to go watch racing of any kind, so that I can go and boo my friends.

Jake, If you are really racing at MARS, how long does it take to get there and back??? I have to be home by October.
