You know I really don't need to remind yu guys evrybody is posting about how bad I smoked you Scott I had passed yo by the 2 minute mark and just had Joel left to pass and put a lap down but he was trying like hell to keep that car in front of me ( I don't mean blocking either ) I think every time he saw me coming up on him He would squezze that trigger harder and get a little more speed
I am going to try in out this weekend at Lansing and MP I hope So I will se what I can do against the 3 wise men (Not much I suspect) but we will see

Hey Joel quit playing Need For Speed and post the results OK
You aren't going to beat me at that next race either

John, saw the pic on your site, whoever took that picture is frickin' awesome! LoL :D I was in Lansing last week, everyone who is anyone was there last week. LoL Just kidding you! I would like to be there, but guess what? I have to be somwhere else, where there will be about 12 hot college ladies, and about 5 guys, good ratio huh? Let me know how it goes. What are you running at NATS? Did you know you can't race stock and 19T? Some rule about MOD racers not being elligble for stock? I dunno, ask Hanson. LoL

Speaking of 19T action, I was pleased with how I ran friday night, personal best of 53. Way off pace, but you gotta start somewhere right? I remember when I was happy with 47........... LoL

But I think you can run 1/12th scale mod and 1/10 scale stock I think the rules is for stock and mod in the same scale.

8-22: At Stock Off-road Nationals, Juniors and Masters may enter other classes, but not in the
same type vehicle. If the Stock Nationals precede the Modified Nationals, any driver who finishes
in the top 10% (rounded up) of a regular class will be barred from entering the Modified Nationals
(Juniors and Masters not included). Drivers who are currently qualified for an IFMAR WC or have
participated in either of the two previous off-road WC may not enter this event.
8-23: If the Modified Nationals precede the Stock Nationals, any driver who finishes in the top
20% (rounded up) of any class will be barred from entering the Stock Off-Road Nationals.

Chuck, that happens when you hook a pack up backwards, I did it once. Scared the hell out of me, and I have not done it since! LoL

Some one ask Kingpin about multi function chargers/dis-charger and fuses............ I'm gonna get in trouble for this one! LoL

Well at least I told Rick, so I won't get any more befuddled looks from him. I don't mind some people thinking that I am stupid, but when Rick and Kevin start shaking their heads, I really get humiliated.

hock
03-19-2003, 02:28 PM
NO those are at the 5000 runout. IR is around 2.6 to 2.8 that I remember. The one'c chuck bought are 1.158's with ir aver 2.8

you got mail on the last item

rowle1jt
03-19-2003, 02:57 PM
I'm not a big fan of using an abbreviated run out, for the obvious reason that it raise's voltage numbers. :) They do look real good though. I like the IR's. :D

Well I finally have a weekend at home from the race track so in normal fashion, I'm going racing.

What classes have you guys been running Friday nights at Lansing?

Ted

NTwigs
03-19-2003, 07:56 PM
Hey Ted, If you and Walt show up we'll have enough for 4C Modified. Keith is ready to run and I think I have Jamie talked into running with the big dogs. I also heard Zubie and the Ulbriks will also be around.

Otherwise Ted, we usually have a class of 4C Stock and a couple of classes of 4C 19T.

rowle1jt
03-20-2003, 02:29 PM
Race caps??? Warm weather means hang up the oval car and bust out the off road vehicles! LoL Drive my pride-and-joy on pavement, you have to be kidding me!

I would need a third car for pavement use only......

hock
03-20-2003, 02:34 PM
Sorry off-road is to slow for me. Also who wants to spend all that time cleaning the mud off chassis. :freak:  To me off-road is to expensive to buy tires for. I'm not even going to have to buy caps this year. Mine from last year are still awsome and I only missed 3 out of 16 saturdays. Sorry I can't resist the cost savings. Plus ya gotta love when drafting comes into effect

rowle1jt
03-20-2003, 02:37 PM

Howler
03-20-2003, 03:30 PM
Yeah, off road rocks, untill you buy the kit and all the gear, put it together, take it to the track and race it, then bring it home and clean it for two hours longer than it took you took to build it, lol. Common now, lets get real, :D .

hock
03-20-2003, 03:48 PM
First let me say. I'm not against off-road, people run what they like.

But it's nice at the tri-clone because they blow off the pollen and lite dust with large blower on wheels. Most of the time i don't even need to clean my motor out.

I have done some off road in my past and just never developed a liking for it. But we all run what we love. :drunk: They parking lot they race at here in green bay is nasty dirty. I almost want to take the car and dunk it into a 5 gal pail of water to clean it

rowle1jt
03-20-2003, 04:32 PM
Yeah, I hear you on the running what you like. I don't like the cleaning aspect of it either, but throwing dirt and getting air is so much fun..... :D

hock
03-20-2003, 04:39 PM
I'm not ripping off-road people have fun doing what they are doing. I just don't like motor sports that leave the ground. Jumps and stuff, super cross snow crosss. It's just to X Games for me. plus everytime you leave the ground you slow down. I want raw speed. :jest:
