For the Soo Race in April are any of you interested in running nineteen turn along with stock? Sure. I am game.

I will see if I have enough parts here to piece together another car, casey, you mind if I borrow an L3 chassis plate? I would appreciate, even though I will wine and moan about the L3 chassis. LoL

Sounds great Mel, I appreciate it! :D An upgrade chassis? What is it, an L30 chassis or something else? Do you have the top and bottom plate for the pod? If so that would help me out even more! Thanks again! :)

Perry, actaully yeah, it could be. I made it under size for what the restrictions are. If you want, to make you happy, I could make it a little bigger.

Hey kingpin, what did you find out about your computer?

kingpin
03-11-2003, 08:11 PM
I will be calling the tech center, but I haven't yet had the time. Maybe late this evening. Gotta get it right while my honey is down in Saline. Yep she is gone again. This is the time when I get everything done. Like laying back in the recliner and seeing if directv has anything on that is better than studying the back of my eye lids.
Went to Bay City today, and Dan made me a bunch of legend steering links from a length of wire. What a guy.

Sounds good....:

Well, Round one is over with the HP tech. First of all, it took three trips through the voice mail. I now have exclusive interaction for the next seven days, (at a total cost of $31.80), with a tech who has a great deal of trouble with the english language, and who also has never heard of a compact flash card reader  I have to have him repeat almost every statement until I get it right. My poor ancesters were kicked out of Scotland by the rich folks, and then tried to settle in Northern Ireland, and were kicked out by the state religion, and finally shipped off to america as Scotch/Irish. When they arrived here as bondslaves, they were required by their bondsman to learn the english language. Now in the following 200 years of their progeny, we have learned, lost and learned again this language that our forefathers hated. Will we have to wait 200 more years before HP can tell us how to get our USB devices working again

I think that I will go out onto the ice and look for a hole to jump into.

The most work (as well as the biggest benefit) is to re-format it. See if you can get things worked out with HP first. But trust me when a I say a full format with a backup like your going to do, is like getting a *new* computer all over again. Just think, you do that, and the grandsons can fill it up full of junk again. :D

Formatting is a BIG step, but when your at your wits end, and can't fiind out whats wrong/not working, it is unfortunatly, the last step, and only surefire cure. :(

Well Rowley round two with the HP tech is over, and after a charge of $31.80 and 2.5 hours of my phone long distance charges, it has come down to this....REFORMAT IT!!!...

I am holding you directly responsible for my time and money...
If you had been more forceful in your recommendation, I could have saved both.

Hey, I wonder if there is anything going on in the world of carpet racing in northern Michigan? Maybe I will log on to that thread and find out.
Oops, this is that thread.

Also, how big can the custom avatars be?? I have a pic of the love of my life and I standing in front of one of my legends in the front yard. Or should I say that my wife and I were standing in front of the love of my life???

They can be no bigger than 125x125 and less than 2K in size.

Hey, you can't hold me responsible for this one. I told you what I would do if it were mine, but it wasn't mine. Aren't you glad I put the second partition on your hard drive now? :)

Jake, Thanks for lending me the battery Friday nite. I can't believe I forgot to push the start button on my charger. It was good racing against you. Had alot fun there. Hopefully I be able to get back there and race again with you guys. I do think I'm going to invest in a T-2. Jamie let me drive his. Wow ...those handle very nice. Of course Jamie know's how to setup a car very well. I think he could take a Legend and make it handle like it was on rails.

Had a great time up here. Yea casey was super fast again. His pan car was hooked up. I don't think it's him driving though....that car was just way to fast and way to smooth. Casey ran a smooth run with a few bumps here and there but all in all Casey i think has learned to drive a pan car...now if he can only do it in truck and touring. Jake you going to be up here for the troph race? Would like to woop on you 1 more time before out door starts. Anyone know the schedule for mars yet?? Also if the dates are confermed? Work is picky about days off for my races.... CHat at everyone laters. Congrats to Casey for the mad fast win...

PS might want to start teching that pan of his for that 5th cell LOL :jest: J/K

Gotta admit Casey was fast and drove a nice race  Jake i was using your setup sheet and needed a spot for weight right and left. Think about it and maybe put it on for the weight guys. :D

Chuck, we had talked about it and discussion lead to us to leaving it off. That is what the "Notes/Comments" section is for, not everyone goes by weight, and some use ounces instead of grams.... etc etc. Thats why it isn't on there. :)

I cant believe  Casey hasn't been on here giving me guff about running my yap and my supposedly excellent combination that was going to beat him :o .I will be working on that motor to see where it likes to run so i can keep up with him next time tho  I think it's cool tho just to make the A-main running a three year old ESP motor that Howler gave to me at our Bark river track.Thanx to Howler for keeping me in the game still. When all else fails i run the ESP and it puts me in the running. The comm is getting pretty thin now tho so i have to find another hook up before long.Chuck is also fast and furious but he needs to paint a target on the side of that hooters body so some people have a reason to T-BONE him in the corners. You know what i mean hey Chuck.See ya all in 2.
