Green, Blue, Red anything but that dark color that it started with...

I know why Jake is on here, but has Scott skipped another day of work??

Jake--- 3 inches of snow at the cabin, how much down there?

Is it safe to come in here yet. Valid points on both sides. Now lets race. I am not fond of the green on here. Don't know what color I would like though.
Jake how dare you say you are burned out on Oval. Boy what a whimp. I hope you get stones in your spur gear.
We got six inches of snow but it is leaving the streets pretty fast. I will be at Lansing Fri. night and will be at Mt. Pleasant on the 21st.

Jake--- 3 inches of snow at the cabin, how much down there?4+ depending on where you measure it. I have never seen snow like this, I mean the snow is normal, but the depth varies a lot. 3/4 of a mile from my apartment (4 on the ground here) at my parents house they have about 6. At the funeral home (how many of you DIDN'T know my dad was a funeral director? LoL) when we clearing snow they had 6+. It was weird, is seems like it always the same anywhere we are plowing here in town, not today.

Probably be at the cabin this weekend. If we can't get Chris's car in the driveway, guess where were staying? You got an extra bed right? LoL

Man I am in a deep funk. I thought that everything came back fine after I did the partial restore on this puter, but now I cannot get any pics into it. It tells me that my card reader does not exist, and when I use the USB directly from the camea, it says that no camera is detected.

I hate to admit it, but I actually went so far as to read the intructions :o Still no pics.

I have to get this working or the Legend Emporium is out of business.
I am about a heart beat away from buying another PC and giving up on this one.

Don't know what this has to do with carpet racing in Northern Michigan, but I guess I am looking for some support so that I don't have to rely on self-pity alone.

Well, if it isn't better by friday, let me know. Like I said, I will be at the cabin this weekend. I won't even charge you the normal rate of $25 an hour. :D We could call it even for all the times you won't let me pay for my share of the gas! LoL

Thanks Bob, I knew he was running mostly 19t, and for Pro Match. The hyperdrive was what I didn't know. An 0700 EASE I assume? Poor guy... :(

I am glad that it works for him and that he likes it. I think we all know he will get faster as he learns the new car. Zubie, faster than he is now! WOW! :) Good for him.

I'm glad that he likes the HD, I hear people here on the boards and at the races that the 0700 EASE is some what a fragile ride. :(

I'll be at Mount Pleasant. :)

Mel, I can dare to say that I was getting burned out. Haven't been racing much lately and the bug is bitting pretty hard again. LoL What do you race, once, sometimes twice a week? Must be nice....... See you all in MP.

Promatch even said something makeing it down to MP for this next one. Let hope we can break the attendance record again. I will be in line at 8AM for my table. I will be accepting sealed bids until the night before, and the highest bidder is guarenteed a 1/2 table, no matter when they get there.

Wheres Smitty been? Wife not letting him come out and play on the internet any more?

I would like to go to the race but last year I borrowed someone elses truck to run.. Buggy doesn;t look like any fun on a carpet track. If I can find a truck somewhere I might just run. Road Hawg tires still work????

Joel, didn't you change the date of the trophy race? So it worked out that you guys could go to Nats? LMK
Thanks

What do you mean?? Buggies on carpet are a blast. You know I have the track record at MP with modified buggy. I'll be going back to pan soon though. Just not that many ppl runing modified buggy. :(

A buggy on Carpet would be fine if it was flat. This is a race with bumps, jumps, and table tops. Plays Havok with the buggy, but the truck was fun.

Well, It took a while, but I'm finally out of the basement. It sucks to be sick. The new re-design is kinda cool. Sounds like there is a lot of stuff going of at the Soo. Hope to see as many of you guys as we can at the Cheezer. If not, NATIONALS BABY!

So Jamie, what do you think will be the ticket at Trackside? The Pro or the T2? I really didn't have a chane to weigh the two chassis. Not sure if there is an advantage there.

rowle1jt
03-06-2003, 05:15 PM
Performance wise, not considering any weigth differences. I think the T-2 will be the way to go. People around here are getting them to go WAY fast. :)

I think the Pro will still be just as competitive though. Especially if you know the chassis and how to tune it!

I agree with Jake. The Pro will be very fast as will the T-2. I have only had the t-2 for one weekend so far and I went as fast with it as I did with ym Pro. The Pro chassis is just a hair lighter than the T-2, however it is a little more rigid as well. I will give a little weight up for the chassis stiffness.

I am going to run both cars though. I am running my pro is stock and the T-2 chassis in 19turn. The turns are not real tight at Trackside so, both cars wil work with the right set of tires.

Sure is cool to see another woods racer. These cars are the bomb.I have a 13 and a 15 and i just love them.If you like the 13 then you'd love the 15.They also have an extreme 15 but i never ran one.

The key to these cars seems to be the way they carry the speed thru the corners.I owned an L30 first and that seemed to be a tire chewing speed scrubbing brick. Then i got my 13 and what a difference in handling. Finally found a 15 for sale and i snagged it up.I know its hard to get parts but i got quite a stash built up just from buying off of this site :D Granted there are some killer cars out there right now but i like running the older stuff because it worked so well.Tell ya what tho,Them there Terminators are from what i've seen,a pretty balanced car and they seem to handle just like the woods cars.I just cant see spending more money on a newer car when my woods is doing the job just fine for me. :freak:

Don't you wish, the only way you ever beat me was becasue you were in a different class. You hang with Psycho? In your dreams, the ONLY you could hang with Ken is if he TIED your car to his rear bumper, and you'd break the string (like you break everything else) and you would lose. Again. Like every other time you race anyone. I think Casey can out drive you, I know Russel can. He did it regualry last season.

For some reason it won't let me add you to my Messanger, try it again. Oh yeah, and learn how to spell. Casey and Moose get 90% of their spelling right.

Yes Jake, I am at my wits end. (not very far)

I did get a legend sold though. Without pics, who wudda thunkit?

I have 3 or 4 more though, in case you want one. Hey maybe that would be a good wedding present for you to give your bride. You could get her racing in legends and keep the family together. Of course then she would meet the real Jerk oops, I meant Jake.

There is an extra two inches here today, on top of the last four, so be flying when you turn into your drive.

Scott I just read the board and I found your post. I was looking for you fellow Yoopers and you were no where to be found . You missed a great race just plain fun those guys know how to run the races and lots of competition which makes everything worthwhile. There is always something to learn if you just keep your eyes and ears open and ask a lot of questions.Which I did and got a lot of help thanks to those guysyou know who you are  Now I'll have to work on my car to be ready to go the Soo on the15th. See you all there :D And again

mel

Them there Yoopers need someone to run up front. Sounds like Chuck might be the Shoe at the Soo. Hows that for pressure Chuck? Its a whole lot more fun when your'e not on the bottom looking up. You Yoopers better get to work on them cars.
For the Soo Race in April are any of you interested in running nineteen turn along with stock? Maybe we can get a few more from down here to come up and race at your race.
