Looks like tomorrow could be a big night at the W. I've heard that Dave is making the trek from West Bend. We could put it over 20 4cell guys tomorrow night:thumbsup: . Chuck, your going to love the new corners that we put in.

Also is are you SOO guys lookig for a extra AMB COUNTING SYSTEM. It's the older one I think the 8800 system (the one with the computer card.
ALso has twenty transponders with rack. We just bought a new AMBrc and I thikn the club is interested in selling the old one.:wave:

If I were Joel and Casey I would get rid of them bumpers they have. Thats a long way to drive and not be able to finish the race because the screw gets sheared off. Put the body posts in the holes where the bumper screws to and that won't happen so often. And last Casey needs to find out why his car would stop running everytime a car got near him in Mod. hehe! It was good to see all of you, well except for Rob. He must be the mouth of the North. He would talk even though no one was listening to him. lol! :wave:

LoL Funny, there was a guy that used to work here in my office that would do the same thing....he had red hair too. :roll: All this coming from Gerri..... I was impressed, no one had a "senior moment" this weekend.

Actually I was impressed with how well Casey stayed out of the way in MOD, it seemed he was driving quite well, atleast for him. :D And yeah, I guess George was being a gentleman. I'll be nice from now on, that way he might still let me catch rides from him. :)

Mel, Rob isn't the only one that brought hardware home to the great white north. I got 3rd in the 19T "B" main.

Mel, I removed the bumper yesterday, I did have the body posts in those holes, the bumper was between them, I have some pretty stiff foam up front, and now that we don't have inside corners on our oval I removed the bumper. That darn thing weighs alot too, I weighed it and it came in at a whoopping 1.1 oz's.
My car was way overweight as it was I don't need that heavy thing up there too.

Sean. Where are you from?? Close to any tracks? If you are in Michigan, there are a number of places where you can race and learn from some pretty good people. You listed three vehicles that we race every month in Mt. Pleasant, if you are near there, you would be very welcome. Also, if you are just looking for setup help, there are several threads on this board that do just that.

Jake... Have been down with a monster cold for the past two days. Believe me, it was worse than entertaining the rug rats. I don't know much about squaring away my Outlook Express, but I have not had the head to do it yet anyway. It's funny, after doing a partial restore on the system, I thought that I would lose a lot of stuff. As it happened, I did not lose any of my programs/files, but at first I could not find her email address book. Now I have found it all, but don't know how to separate our email archives. I will probably let it slide for a while, and eventually I won't remember why I cared.
Really psyched on the pan car. Maybe because I was so disappointed with my Legend performance.

I go racing every weekend somewhere. Fridays in Lansing, once a month in Mount Pleasant, once in a while in Traverse City and even Bay City has a track, but they only run 12th scale road course. It is funny you mentioned Freddys.....I have a freind that is a waitress there and use to go there once in a while. It is right by the track in Mount P.

I had planed on the ohio race yes, but things changed. I am going to stay in Michigan and race in Lansing on Friday night, and then try my hand at the onroad states this weekend. I have not tried to turn right in a couple years so I figured it might be fun. I think I might go to Trackside in Wisconsin once before the Nats, but I believe that is my next big race anywhere.....

yah just got mine together had to get new rear pod plates from IRS going to start running it with 0.75 t-plate but want to get a spring steel one soon -- tell me under the t-plate is there a nother plate before the pod or does the t-plate just mount right to the lower plate??

Bob,

Associated sells a kit of three washers for that purpose. You only use the two out side t-bar holes though. You do not run anything in the middle hole. It helps soften the t-bar a little bit. I am not sure what the part # is on it. The washers are about the thickness of a losi shock piston. If you can;t find the washers, just jimmy-rig something that will work. ALl you want is the bottom side of the bottom plate and the bottom of the chassis to be flush across.

Wow a fantastic right of racing last night. 45 racers on a wed night, 25 guys running 4-cell stock what a blast with lots of close racing. We were still done about 10:30pm I didn't think that was to bad. Thanks to Chuck47 and racing dave for coming out to play with us.:roll: If this is any indication of the type of turnout for the Cheeseland race it will be a fun time

Thanks to Chuck and Triclone-Dave for making the trip to Green Bay. What a great night of racing. Even if I was pumped up on cold medication. As always, we hit HOOTERS afterwards:thumbsup:. And, had a great turnout there. :devil:

The river ice is still thick enough for trucks and cars, but there is no snow in the woods. It has been cold here, but nice and sunny. A good time for snuggling.
We are bound for Westland in the morning. Catching two birthdays on one weekend. The twins are 7. Grandma and Papa are taking them out to buy a pair of hamsters. I have been waiting for this for over 30 years. Finally I get even for those hamsters that my sons had to have.:D Many middle of the night trips to their bedroom to put a little cooking oil on the squirrel cage bushings so the little dears could run without the bushing squeaking and keeping me awake. I am going to do my best to sneak in a pair (male and female), so that my son can deal with the little surprises:devil:
Then on to Saline for the littlest ones 2nd birthday. All in all a fun weekend.

Yeah, sounds like a lot of fun to me! LoL I should be at the cabin next week, if your lucky, maybe I will stop by and say hello. :D

Jake I don't know what to say of the snow I'm trying to get rid of all I can so I can go and ride my new Harley :D so you can have all you want why don't you come up and try to wear it out on a sled Howler is coming this weekend and I hope he melts it all:thumbsup: if you make it to Ontonagon give me a call Howler. Yes I have to agree it sure was fun last night and slow but sure I'm getting this car dialed in with all the information I'm getting from the top dogs. WOW, what a day of racing we had in the soo today.

I just want to warn everyone that Casey is going to be talkin' alot of crap on here for the next 2 weeks till our next race, he lapped the field and won the "A" main in the soo in 4-cell stock.
Yes you read this right he won and lapped the entire filed of 4 cars. He now holds the new track record 65 Laps in 5:01.36
He is the only person to turn 65 laps on this track.

The new Leading edge T-2's were rippin up the track today with bith of them making the "A" main.

:thumbsup: Racing was fun and close in the soo i must agree.The terminator cars done real well just as Joel said,They done just as good as two of the (old)Wood X15 cars :D which made the A main also.My hats off to Casey for driving one hell of a race in the main.Everyone done a great job of driving which created the awesome heats we ran today,i guess im trying to say that ..........IT WAS A BLAST TO RACE SO CLOSE TO EACH OTHER WITHOUT CAUSING BREAKAGE :lol: .Thanx again for the great time guys and we will see ya all in 2 weeks.
