Scott(t3rc1) chuck47 02-25-2003, 09:33 AM Oh for sure I'll be there Howler:thumbsup: also I'll be there tomorrow I've made a few changes so I'm ready to race:roll: Hooters on the 8th but not tomorrow I get home to late:dude: hock 02-25-2003, 09:35 AM plus when you get home you smell like hooters and chicken  Howler 02-25-2003, 11:29 AM Looks like tomorrow could be a big night at the W. I've heard that Dave is making the trek from West Bend. We could put it over 20 4cell guys tomorrow night:thumbsup: . Chuck, your going to love the new corners that we put in. hock 02-25-2003, 11:34 AM Also is are you SOO guys lookig for a extra AMB COUNTING SYSTEM. It's the older one I think the 8800 system (the one with the computer card. ALso has twenty transponders with rack. We just bought a new AMBrc and I thikn the club is interested in selling the old one. rowle1jt 02-25-2003, 12:46 PM Hey George, when you take the grandkids home? I don't remember if it was today or tommorow? So did you tell your wife yet that you got beat in Legends by a girl? :p kingpin 02-25-2003, 02:09 PM Don't have to tell her now. I told you that my email was messed up. My email is coming in on her side now, so when I get the notice from Hobby talk that someone has posted on this thread, she sees it first. When she saw your handle on the notice, she looked. Thanks ever so much. rowle1jt 02-25-2003, 02:17 PM oops. :D Oh well, look at it this way, I saved yo the humiliation. :) mel 02-25-2003, 03:34 PM I heard he was being a Gentleman and that is why he got beat. Thats my story and I'm sticking to it. Also I am still trying to figure out how Rob was the only one able to take some iron back North with them. Unless that trophy was for having the fastest mouth. lol! If I were Joel and Casey I would get rid of them bumpers they have. Thats a long way to drive and not be able to finish the race because the screw gets sheared off. Put the body posts in the holes where the bumper screws to and that won't happen so often. And last Casey needs to find out why his car would stop running everytime a car got near him in Mod. hehe! It was good to see all of you, well except for Rob. He must be the mouth of the North. He would talk even though no one was listening to him. lol! rowle1jt 02-25-2003, 04:32 PM Originally posted by mel It was good to see all of you, well except for Rob. He must be the mouth of the North. He would talk even though no one was listening to him. lol! LoL Funny, there was a guy that used to work here in my office that would do the same thing....he had red hair too. All this coming from Gerri..... I was impressed, no one had a "senior moment" this weekend. Actually I was impressed with how well Casey stayed out of the way in MOD, it seemed he was driving quite well, atleast for him. :D And yeah, I guess George was being a gentleman. I'll be nice from now on, that way he might still let me catch rides from him. :) WIGMAN 02-25-2003, 06:46 PM Mel, Rob isn't the only one that brought hardware home to the great white north. I got 3rd in the 19T "B" main. Mel, I removed the bumper yesterday, I did have the body posts in those holes, the bumper was between them, I have some pretty stiff foam up front, and now that we don't have inside corners on our oval I removed the bumper. That darn thing weighs alot too, I weighed it and it came in at a whoopping 1.1 oz's. My car was way overweight as it was I don't need that heavy thing up there too. See you all Sat. in the soo, Joel t3rc1 02-25-2003, 06:58 PM Rob. He must be the mouth of the North. He would talk even though no one was listening to him. lol! He stands by me when he corners and im on the drivers stand and he chats about everything from racing to the weather  .It's all good tho Rob,I dont mind.See ya all in the Soo Scott(t3rc1) chuck47 02-26-2003, 11:38 AM Hey Hock as much as I have looked I still can't find anything wrong with the smell of chicken:D and for those HOOTERS there just great always have been always will be:thumbsup: see you tonight for the race I just trued my tires and boy is there a difference between tires I trued and the same tires I thought were trued well that's what it says on the package hey:roll: hock 02-26-2003, 12:05 PM I didn't mean there was anything wrong with them (unless your snuggling with them)chicken I mean:lol: chuck47 02-26-2003, 01:03 PM Snuggling is fun and I'm not talking with chickens:devil: Howler 02-26-2003, 04:07 PM More than I really wanted to know, lol. rowle1jt 02-26-2003, 05:24 PM George, I didn't get any mail back from you from your "test e-mail". I know you said that your mail was going to your wifes account, I just want to make sure you got it all sorted out? :) sean 02-26-2003, 08:15 PM hey guys i would like to get into the carpet racing i have a stock truck , legend , and L3O. i would need help getting it set up. any help would be appreciated. since i am rc illiterate. thanks. sean kingpin 02-26-2003, 09:39 PM Sean. Where are you from?? Close to any tracks? If you are in Michigan, there are a number of places where you can race and learn from some pretty good people. You listed three vehicles that we race every month in Mt. Pleasant, if you are near there, you would be very welcome. Also, if you are just looking for setup help, there are several threads on this board that do just that. Jake... Have been down with a monster cold for the past two days. Believe me, it was worse than entertaining the rug rats. I don't know much about squaring away my Outlook Express, but I have not had the head to do it yet anyway. It's funny, after doing a partial restore on the system, I thought that I would lose a lot of stuff. As it happened, I did not lose any of my programs/files, but at first I could not find her email address book. Now I have found it all, but don't know how to separate our email archives. I will probably let it slide for a while, and eventually I won't remember why I cared. Really psyched on the pan car. Maybe because I was so disappointed with my Legend performance. See ya later. sean 02-26-2003, 09:44 PM im in midland know but lived in mtpleasant above freddy's tavern for 2 years. i just don't really know much about rc but i am learning i would love to make it over at least to watch. Jamie Hanson 02-26-2003, 09:54 PM Sean, You are not the guy I talked to at the owasso swap at baker college are you? I just wondered.... I also am from Midland and would be more than happy to help you out in any way I can. I go racing every weekend somewhere. Fridays in Lansing, once a month in Mount Pleasant, once in a while in Traverse City and even Bay City has a track, but they only run 12th scale road course. You are MORE than welcome to give me an e-mail and ask questions. In Fact if you drop me an e-mail I will send you one back with my phone # if you ever want to go racing just call. How old are you anyhow????? Jamie Hanson 02-26-2003, 09:55 PM It is funny you mentioned Freddys.....I have a freind that is a waitress there and use to go there once in a while. It is right by the track in Mount P. millerman 02-26-2003, 09:58 PM jamie you going to ohio race this weekend  Jamie Hanson 02-26-2003, 10:01 PM Hey Millerman, I had planed on the ohio race yes, but things changed. I am going to stay in Michigan and race in Lansing on Friday night, and then try my hand at the onroad states this weekend. I have not tried to turn right in a couple years so I figured it might be fun. I think I might go to Trackside in Wisconsin once before the Nats, but I believe that is my next big race anywhere..... millerman 02-26-2003, 10:05 PM ok sorry you are'nt going this weekend , going to try and do good there this time , sorry i did'nt make it last weekend for the state champs got sick and did feel good so did'nt go heard it was a good race and little chris won stock good for him  Jamie Hanson 02-26-2003, 10:07 PM Yeah evey race was a good one this past weekend..... Little Chris did win... That kid is one awesome driver. I feel bad because I have no idea who you are millerman. I should, but I don't. I take it you are going to the Ohio state race? millerman 02-26-2003, 10:09 PM its bob hendry and yes going with zubie this weekend -- got a new t-2 chassis but i'm running my carpet pro this weekend  Jamie Hanson 02-26-2003, 10:45 PM Well Bob, Good luck to you and Zubie at the race. I also am going to start working witht he T2 Chassis this weekend so we will see how it goes. millerman 02-26-2003, 10:49 PM yah just got mine together had to get new rear pod plates from IRS going to start running it with 0.75 t-plate but want to get a spring steel one soon -- tell me under the t-plate is there a nother plate before the pod or does the t-plate just mount right to the lower plate?? Jamie Hanson 02-26-2003, 10:55 PM Bob, Associated sells a kit of three washers for that purpose. You only use the two out side t-bar holes though. You do not run anything in the middle hole. It helps soften the t-bar a little bit. I am not sure what the part # is on it. The washers are about the thickness of a losi shock piston. If you can;t find the washers, just jimmy-rig something that will work. ALl you want is the bottom side of the bottom plate and the bottom of the chassis to be flush across. millerman 02-26-2003, 11:01 PM jamie thanks for the info -- going to change that before i run the car later next month see you later  rowle1jt 02-26-2003, 11:53 PM Who all is racing this weekend and where? I know I won't be, I'll be chillin' at the cabin, and I am sure that kingpin can attest to the "chillin'" part. Supposed to be -1 tommorow morning! BRRRR! I like snow but I don't like the temps this low, Chuck, when are you gonna send more snow my way? :) hock 02-27-2003, 09:50 AM Wow a fantastic right of racing last night. 45 racers on a wed night, 25 guys running 4-cell stock what a blast with lots of close racing. We were still done about 10:30pm I didn't think that was to bad. Thanks to Chuck47 and racing dave for coming out to play with us. If this is any indication of the type of turnout for the Cheeseland race it will be a fun time Howler 02-27-2003, 11:42 AM Thanks to Chuck and Triclone-Dave for making the trip to Green Bay. What a great night of racing. Even if I was pumped up on cold medication. As always, we hit HOOTERS afterwards:thumbsup:. And, had a great turnout there. kingpin 02-27-2003, 12:30 PM Hey Jake. The river ice is still thick enough for trucks and cars, but there is no snow in the woods. It has been cold here, but nice and sunny. A good time for snuggling. We are bound for Westland in the morning. Catching two birthdays on one weekend. The twins are 7. Grandma and Papa are taking them out to buy a pair of hamsters. I have been waiting for this for over 30 years. Finally I get even for those hamsters that my sons had to have.:D Many middle of the night trips to their bedroom to put a little cooking oil on the squirrel cage bushings so the little dears could run without the bushing squeaking and keeping me awake. I am going to do my best to sneak in a pair (male and female), so that my son can deal with the little surprises:devil: Then on to Saline for the littlest ones 2nd birthday. All in all a fun weekend. rowle1jt 02-27-2003, 12:44 PM Yeah, sounds like a lot of fun to me! LoL I should be at the cabin next week, if your lucky, maybe I will stop by and say hello. :D chuck47 02-27-2003, 12:57 PM Jake I don't know what to say of the snow I'm trying to get rid of all I can so I can go and ride my new Harley :D so you can have all you want why don't you come up and try to wear it out on a sled Howler is coming this weekend and I hope he melts it all:thumbsup: if you make it to Ontonagon give me a call Howler. Yes I have to agree it sure was fun last night and slow but sure I'm getting this car dialed in with all the information I'm getting from the top dogs. That's what makes this fun you make a change and you can see if it helped or not. Well back to the basement and do a little more fine tuneing. hock 02-27-2003, 02:38 PM Chuck--- Kraig from Eagle River Says HI. DVLracing 02-27-2003, 03:06 PM it was great having you here in green Bay racing it is always a blast when you or anyone come down or up just to race.
