Mel, When I lay the smack down at Mt. Pleasent you will have nobody to give smack to! I am not gonna get to cocky but if I cant hang with the retires I will Quit AGAIN. hehe So get the biggest slug of a motor you got and we will see if I still have the unbelievable, awesome ability to make it WORSE, and still finish with all the TEAM DOWN A LAP MEMBERS! Do you remember that TEAM? Did you officially graduate from team down a lap? At least I don't have Car #7 trying to stick his wet fingers in my ear anymore! Man I am looking forward to saturday!

Chuck, you missed a great night of racing. We had a total of 15 4 cell cars. To bad a few of the regulars couldn't make it. Had a total of 32 drivers registered.

Just wanted to remind everyone that our Trophy race in april has been changed from the 26th or April to the 12th of April. The change is due to the Oval Nats being held at Trackside in Wisconsin on the weekend of the 26th.

Anyone who would like a flyer for our trophy race please e-mail me at jwiggins88@30below.com or leave your e-mail adress here and I'll send you one .

I will also have some available for the Michigan oval state championships in Lansing next weekend.
Not sure if I will be there but I know enough people who are going so one way or another they will be there.
Thanks, Joel

Got a question for ya all.According to Big Jim Greenemeyer's rc motor black book, for 4 cell stock you should use a constant voltage of 5 volts instead of 7 volts on the CE turbo dyno. Big Jim says 7 volts is used for 6 cell. The question is,what number should i be looking for in watts at a 20 amp pull?At 7 volts my motor pulls 113 watts at 20 amps,at 5 volts the same motor pulls 70 watts. What would be the(magic number)that i should be looking for?As you all know,i am new to this dyno stuff and i really want to understand it so i can make some use of this toy.Any info is really appreciated.

Its about time for Russ to make another "I wish I had a job like Jakes" comment.... LoL It really is too bad that being a hobby talk pro has NOTHING to do with being fast on the track..... LoL

Yeah I do know who to go to but I am not going to see him before this weekend, and I want to run the car in Lansing. I need all the middle braces for the car and since it is the old kit I need the front end brace as well.....

Jake.
You should have hung around a little longer on Saturday. You would have seen me win the A main in 4 cell stock. Of course it did not hurt that the guy in line behind the TQ'er impaled his car in the butt of the TQ'er at the start:D Isn't it strange how the world goes round:) Wait til Glenn finds out that Phinney and I are friends!!!

Also, remind me to tell you sometime what the word "PRO" is short for.

As of right now, I won't be going to Lansing.

It looks like the Legends program is getting stronger. Two of the good pan car guys were looking for one on Saturday, and now Jamie.
I finally got to the A main, and now it will be a lot harder. You Didn't see it, but that new 1600 pak had us all feeling like Superman.

Unless you got a prior obligation (that you can't skip!) I think you should go. :D LoL But I know how it goes.......

What has been the track layout at the Soo lately? Are you still running the D or did you go back to a traditional oval?

I saw how many laps they were turning and said "Holy #$&%!". And then I realized they get 1 more minute to run then all of us Trolls..... :p

Tell ya what.If all the trolls have the new 3300 or 3000's,why not run 5 mins, you definitely have the run time and longer heats mean more fun driving:D

Scott - With 20 heats and 19 mains, if we ran 5-minute races then our saturday race would end on sunday! (Now back to hour 14 of the 24 Hours of Mt. Pleasant.)

Jamie - How did you manage to get a Legends without the chassis spacers? They're what holds the whole car together!

And on the subject of George's win, the bottom line is he won with the 2nd fastest car by driving better. And he was using my batteries. Hey, maybe I can "rent" them to Frank for this weekend's race.

George, come on down. It won't be the same with out ya!! Jake won't have anyone to complain about unless.... Casey decides to show up!:D

Scott - With 20 heats and 19 mains, if we ran 5-minute races then our saturday race would end on sunday! (Now back to hour 14 of the 24 Hours of Mt. Pleasant.) I guess i never thought of that:eek: Aint used to racing with that big ao a crowd.R/C just isn't as popular UP here as it is below the bridge or in Wisconsin for that matter:( Sure wish i was a troll so i could have more choices of racing than i have now without all the travel distance.Am trying like hell to get at least one MT Pleasant race in and a Traverse one also.
