Hey everyone i need to know how to do something....I have a turbo 30 and i need to know how to set it up to cycle and reawaken my D cells. THey havn't been run in a while and i need to know how to charge them on my turbo. I should just use some of my 3000's but i want to see what they have left in them. Any info would be cool on how to cycle and charge them. Thanks everyone. =) Laters

Thanks for the words fellas. My dad will be in mayo clinic in Minnesota for a month. He's going to be in a "clean house" until totally healed. It'll be an interesting road from here on out for sure. Well Jake. I get an email note each time someone replies to this thread, you must get one every time anyone replies to any thread any where.

The guy who started that thread was pleasantly surprised that Hankster replied to it. Maybe we can do something worth while on this thread to get him to respond. Perhaps a naughty word. We will have to get someone else to do it because even though I know all the words, I don't use them. Even better, maybe we could get him to race at MP. How about it Hankster, a free breakfast on Jake and I, and an opportunity to race with 40 or 50 guys who get along so good, it makes you want to go home and start an argument with your wife.

Lets have it, how great was it last night??? I mean at Lansing!!!

And it was a good night George, over the course of the night I picked up 7 laps. :) Started with a 40 in 4 flat, then a 43 a 44 and ended with a 47! I'm in the search for a bad bearing. I got a nice squeeling sound down the str8 and in corners. Sounds like a bearing but i can't find it? GOt my touring car torn down to chassis next to me. Is there nothing better then playing online and playing with your favorit car.:D Best of both worlds right now hehhehe

'Birds warmup race in Lansing this satruday. A lot of the big names, ADX and Dave from LE are coming. Zubak all those guys. It will be a big race for sure... :)

Hey eveyrone instead of filling up the board with stuff i have a question for everyone. I need to know the different kind of compounds for tires preferable touring car type and how they work in like stifness and things like that? If anyone knows any great web sites that i can learn from great or if you want to E-mail me feel free to do so. liquidsquid@nmo.net Just trying to learn more is all. I'll have to check that tire compound site out. I just wish they didn't rate the compounds in colors it's terrible for a guy that is colorblind numbers would be a whole lot better!:eek:

So LMK if you need something
Russ green are soft compound and have a High wear but they are fast
You go all the way up to Blues Purple Plaids than you have less wear but a slower type tire
Don't get me wrong all the fast guys run plaid and purple I think they don't run greens because they would go through a set almost every other round

About your tire comment.....I have been running greens and blues with the exception of a purple right front tire. I ran a green left front, green left rear and blue right rear. Worked great.

I have been running the same thing Jamie. I think I might try out the White/Aqua on the rear this weekend though. What is the change going to effect? Are whites and aquas softer or hard than a blue/green?

Yea it must be good money but the only thing he is doing is bench racing with the dyno to keep his motors running
And the truer is to keep the tires going Because he hasn't raced in such a long time

Unless I read it wrong, what Russ was asking about were touring car tires, not pan car. I haven't run a TC on oval, but virtually ALL the road course guys use plaid (purple/orange) fronts and purple rears. Wear is low and traction is not a problem. I think if you try greens on a touring car we'll get to se what the bottom of you car looks like.... then the top .... then the bottom .... then the top ... etc. :D Probably want to preload the right side springs more than the lefts for oval.

Greens would have traction rolling problem, no doubt about it. Purple and Purple/Orange is what I run, I have NEVER met another racer that ran anything besides that combo. There is good traction and great wear, there is no reason to run anything else.
