Pops right up for me? Do you have the flash plugin installed? Weird.

Hey guys, look in the on road section where I sold the X-12, I put some pictures up. That guy got a hell of deal! The tires alone are probably worth $30-$40!

Kevin, Mel, Perry and Pat:

Are you guys still running GM3's or have you switched to the Monster? Just wondering, what are your comments on them? I'm really likeing the GM3 that I'm running, but thought about giving the Monster a try? I'm prepared for the "hipocrit" comments that I have coming from Mel for this...... :)
thanks

Jake, I saw your post. YGM. As far as the "MONSTA" vs the GM3, I've been running the "HULK" in the mains, while experimenting with the monster in the heats. This may be the first week of unleasing it in a main. I think that I've found something, but I won't release the info untill I can back it up ,lol. :thumbsup: I'll keep you informed.

I don't know if there'll be snow
but have a cup of cheer
Have a holly, jolly Christmas;
And when you walk down the street
Say Hello to friends you know
and everyone you meet

Oh ho the mistletoe
hung where you can see;
Somebody waits for you;
Kiss her once for me
Have a holly jolly Christmas
and in case you didn't hear
Oh by golly

Uh, Jake, I hate to be the one to tell you this, but .... Busch class is dead. We only ran it once last year, and the place that started it (Jackson) hasn't run it lately either. I think everbody in pan car is getting tired of "the class of the week" syndrome, so let's just stick with the 3(!) classes we've already got. Besides, I'm already running 6-cell stock, Legends, and sprint car. I need another class like I need another cranial orifice.

On Monster vs. GM3 I'm afraid I can't give you much insight. I own 1 monster and ZERO GM3's. (Yes, I'm sure. I counted them twice.) The Monster has tons of RPM and no torque. Strangely, it seemed to work good in the TC3 at Lansing, but I can't seem to find the right gear for it on oval. Maybe at Mt.P with the tight turns the screaming RPM will be useful. By the way, we found out in Jackson last sunday that smoking Monsters smell just as bad as smoking GM3's.:lol:

Like Ted says, it was like being at Bridgeport.
Saw some folks that I haven't seen in a coons age, and made a few new friends.
Great day of racing. Special thanks to Kevin for his help tuning my car, and especially for him not racing Legends. ...

Hey George, you need to know that your car STILL needs work (aside from replacing the left front tire). It should NOT handle better after you knock the left front wheel off. :eek: Maybe we need to try loosening both sides of the chassis. I don't recall what type of servo saver you had on it, but you might also try moving the tie rods to a hole closer to the center of the servo to reduce the amount of steering. And exactly what is a coons age, anyway? Most of the ones I see aren't getting any older. They are paws-up by the side of the road!

I make sure not to over gear it, and so far, I have been taking my car off the track and it has been barely over ambient temp....of course, I'm using chewing gum remover so that is part of it. And I must say, the GM3 is fast, even when a tooth or two under geared! I bought the standard one, and the hoods were straight right out of the box, the comm on the other hand......it needed a turn or turn two make it true.

Oh well with Busch, I just thought it would be a neat class, I guess I'm a year behind on things, I'd also add that I'm, a few laps off the pace too.... :D

I would agree with Kevin that the Busch Class is laying right beside that coon on the side of the road. My Monster was pretty good until I changed the brushes. Been in the Box since. Not quite sure how to gear it yet.
UH Nick Jake didn't take Casey to Lansing I did. I picked him up right beside that coon that Kevin seen on the side of the road with it's paws sticking straight up.
I won't be in Lansing Friday night but will be at Mt. Pleasant Sat.
George it will do no good to hide behind a new name. Everyone will still know it is you. And yes there is a problem with your car if it runs better on three wheels than four.
Hey to all you Yoopers and keep the snow above the bridge.
Later :wave:

Thanks for the tips. Wait til you see my Legend Saturday. You will need a magnifying glass to find the left front tire. :D It will be so small that it won't touch the track without hitting the brake.

Jake be prepared to do my pit work. I was working on two more treasure chests today, when my 60 dollar 80 tooth blade decided to shorten up two of my digits. I am pretty sure that at least 79 of the teeth did. See pic. You should have seen Lynda's face, the old good news bad news look...She pities me, but doesn't like losing her dishwasher.:thumbsup: Can't be too bad, I can still type.
