Now that lansing is confirmed for me, will there be anyone else that is looking to run 4-cell stock. I won't run mod, I refuse to. If I have to I'll run 19t, but I might just leave the stocker in it for 19t. :) Casey what about you? What are you going to run?

NOPE but 4 of the 5 were terminator pros. I other was a rc10l4 chassis. 10 miinutes after the A-main he came and ordered a Terminator Pro.

Buddy won the a-main with 57 4:00.2 I was second at 57 4:00.4. Perry and myself got together while I was chasing Buddy. Randy Kempen (who ordered a TP) was 3rd at 56 4:00.1, DVL Racing was 4th at 56 4:02.** perry got last at 56 4:04.&*

Very close racing last night you needed a 56 flat to win the B-main

Had a total of 16 4-cell cars. and 33 drivers overall (low night)

But 4-cell stoclk is growing. I think we are going to have 25 4-cell cars after Xmas:wave:

What hock did not tell you is that I got punted on the start, was lapped, then proceeded to shave off 1/10 of a second per lap untill 45 seconds in the race. I tried a move from 4th to 2nd and had one of those racing deals. Otherwise, I would have been nipping at the heals of Buddy. GRRRRR! It was a sweet race non the less.
Eveybody was chearing, and the racers drove honorably.

Geez, I hope Casey doesn't bring everything, because I would have change the name of the shop from Hobby Hub Raceway, to Casey's travelling swap meet, brought to you by Hobby Hub w/ special appearances from Walter Henderson, Keith Racknor, Greg Dean and infamous Jamie Hanson.:D

Won't the pic police be after you?

By the way, I am bringing my pan car too. Not a terminator,
matter of fact we don't know what its ancestry is, just that
it is from a good home.

Second, yes I have seen that motor. I think its your "stock" motor that happens to have adjustble timing, bearings and stand up brushes, right? :D

Well I got to go oval racing last night at Lansing for the first time. It was great fun seeing all my old friends.....felt like racing at Bridgeport! I think there were 8 heats, that seems pretty good to me, we actually had two heats of Mod.

Nick and Walter are going to try and get "Ice" for next week for the ends of the track. "Ice" is like formica that doesn't break anything but keeps you off because it is slippery.

Anyway, it was fun and I plan to be back next week.

They open about 5:00pm.

Hey Where is everyone at? This was on the second page.
Jake you and Casey are slipping. You two have a million posts between ya's and you dropped the ball. That is a two lap penalty. Later All

rowle1jt
12-15-2002, 05:41 PM
I can't afford a two lap penalty...... I can't use school as an excuse for now either, I don't go back till the 6th. :)

Mel, YGM. Thanks for the front tires, the car was the best it was all night in the main, can't wait for MP!

Changing my userid to: TQ3Wheeler

Can't remember when I have had more fun.
Like Ted says, it was like being at Bridgeport.
Saw some folks that I haven't seen in a coons age, and made a few new friends.
Great day of racing. Special thanks to Kevin for his help tuning my car, and especially for him not racing Legends.

If anyone on this board is a regular at Lansing, I hope that you will give me a heads up if there is a problem with anything that I sold to the local racers. I may have mismatched a radio trans/reciever, if so and you hear someone shouting epithets in my direction, feel free to give them my email kingpin@ejourney.com

rowle1jt
12-16-2002, 10:27 AM
Yes Lansing was a lot of fun! As George noted, it was a more "grown up" crowd than both of us are used too. Not having kids run around was kinda neat, but I realize that is what half of the people at MP are so I'll stop complaining. :)

Now for you Kingpin: I thought you told me you went through this Sprinter??? Took me two and half hours last night, adjusting and lubing the car. You thought the diff was smooth before.....you should see it now. And the front end, took me FOREVER to get the steering blocks to SMOOTHLY slide up and down the king pin. LoL I'm just kidding with ya, even though I did take that much time. Got most of the electronics in too, just the speedo is left.

Kick the idea of running one at Nats, But otherwise no one runs them around year for years. Try Howler He also talked about it Thaks of thinking of me

rowle1jt
12-16-2002, 10:54 AM
Perry, you need a 12th scale? Comes with LOTS of parts and more tires than you will ever need in every compound you can think of, and some you can't. :)

thanks for the idea Hock, ( I didn't thank you in the previous post!) I have made asked to soon, I got a bite on it earlier this morning, and now the guy wants my address to send MO. :)

:( looks like I need to check this more often. I would have bagged it. Hock. Any chances on running 12th for nats? It may kill some time between races. I'll look at the LE car. For some reason, I cannot get on the site anymore. Hey Jake, if you don't have classes, maybe you can get over to the "W" and pound your car around for a while, lol. HOOTERS as usual after the races.

rowle1jt
12-16-2002, 12:53 PM
Howler....you never know.... :)

I'm checking the LE site right now, some said sunday that they couldn't get to it either, I haven't had any problems on four different pc's? I dunno, I'm checking.
