We all made it home safe. Had a good time on a very tough track. I would have to thank Dean for the second place finish. Greg and Mike got together and I was able to slip by. Thanks to Joel and the others for giving us a place to race.
I am sure that we will be in Lansing on Fri. and Jackson on Sun.
See Ya! Mel

Casey - You'll need a table and chair, and an extension cord wouldn't hurt. The track opens at 5:00, racing at 7:00. Coming down from the great white north, take 27/127 to Lansing, then 69 west to Grand Rapids. The first exit on 69 is the where you get off (you'll never leave the merge lane). Turn left & go over the freeway. The outlet mall is right there on your left. (or is it left there on your right?) (and how come the store in the outlet mall has very few AC outlets in it?)

Oh boy.....Just when I switch from 4 cell stock to 4 cell 19turn......Now I have to run mod... :-) It doesn;t bother me any way we look at it. However I do not HAVE a single mod motor in my box right now. It is all at home in Midland where I no longer live. I have tons of stockers and one 19 turn. SO, more than likely I will end up running 19 turn. I hope I have someone to race with in that class....Mel??????? I will see you all Friday night for sure than.

Jamie,
I have one 19 turn as well, so if that is the class of choice I'll run that or I can loan you a mod. I have a 7t-8t-or 9t to chose from, but 19t would probably be as much or more fun.

Gotta go now, I gotta call Rick to get the hot set up!!!!!!!!!

I can run Mod 4 cell also But like Jamie somebody would have to loan me a motor Maybe Walt will lend me one of his since it was his idea.

How different is the setup from 4 cell stock to 4 cell mod ????

Casey, we run 3 heats and a main. Entry fee is $10 per class. 3 cars make a class. Racing will start a 7pm. We try to run 1hr rounds, with a resort after the 2nd. It'll be great to see you, Casey.

Sounds good to me. They put on a pretty cool fri. night race, it would be kinda neat to get a weekly race program somewhere, sort of like bridgeport, or jj's used to be. Just a little less competetive, and more fun.

Jamie, if you need a motor let me know,9 turn,8 turn,
7 turn or there might be a sean special 5 turn.
But if everyone wants to run 19 turn, thats ok to.

For Lansing, I'm in! I would prefer to run 4-cell stock, but will be prepared to run 4-cell 19t, but nothing more. If I run 19t I can save tire wear by not using my front tires, and just bouncing off the wall like I will be anyways. :D

Mel can I grab that stuff from you down there? Also, I'm trying to talk Kingpin into it.....well see if Lynda will let him come out and play.....

It is confirmed, Kingpin and I will be there. Casey whats the status on you???

Mel, anything I need to chage on my car ahead of time before I get there? We talked of springs on the front a couple weeks ago, but I forgot what you said to switch too?

I will be there
Mel can you give me a call on Thursday sometime before 2
I will hook up with you and go over if you don't mind.
I will even help with gas money
Just need to know where to hook up with you that is convient SP?
I guess I will try and run 19t becasue nobody offered a Mod for me.

I think I have a 19t If I do they will be for sale after the race

Also Mel don't worry I will have slimed down my stuff to race Because I am only going to race Pan car and am only going there to race and not sell Believe it or not

With Lansing running mod you might be able to sell some 3300's when people can't make runtime with HV's......

See you down there!
