Just got back from practice day at Trackside for the Region 5 carpet champs and is the Turn out awesome. People are aready having to condense there pit space to make room for the people coming thru the door. It looks Like the count is going to be 60+. T

I got 4 runs on the track and I must say the track has tons of tractions. Go high go low no problem. Tonight they ran the club race and I had to leave before it got started. BUt it looks Like a long day tomorrow.

Hey Jake Page still looks good. Thought you were going to space those links on the left hand side out a bit? Also rules look good. Don't forget to mention that we can run 3300's though. Those arn't roar legal but Joel "THE GREAT 1" said we could. Track looks PHAT. Thanks again to Joel for a super track. It WILL be alot of fun. I will let you know how the race goes and try and remember to get the points from him to send to you. Maybe we need a touring car ZOOOOOOOMING across the page? Or one as a follower to the pointer? that would be PHAT. Not sure what you have to do to have that done? YOur the guy that can do it though?

PS. The touring car has to be a LOSI. I did win the last race and well it was my idea hehehehe. laters big man.

Russell.

Had a wonderful time in the Soo saturday:D I think i will now be a 4 cell racer. We had a blast racing and done quite well. You were right Jake:thumbsup: the cars are just as fast but there is a lot of plusses to running 4 cell,,,,,,,,no tire wear for one and no breakage like the 6 cell racing. The racing was a lot closer and the car much easier to handle.Joel and the gang run a great program and were lots of help to us to get in the gearing range to be competitive.I think the most improved driver award should go to Casey for the way he ran in the main:thumbsup: .He was even the first car to the line in the first heat race if you can believe that(lol). We are going to try to run the points series this year at the Soo cause we had a blast there running 4 cell.Jacob did it again and took the main but we smoked him in the heat races so it's all good.Thanx Big Jake for convincing me to run 4 cell cause it was more fun than i ever expected and my car actually came home in one piece:lol: Talk to ya all later and thanx E.U.P. R/C club for a great time.

Hey Joel great track. Had a great time. Don't worry I am going to be getting ALOT better at touring car. The track was PHAT and everyone had a great time. Hope to see alot of great track designs hehehe. going to be going down state next week to race touring again (more practice for me) and going to be making a few changes to see if i can get faster. Thanks again to the peeps who have helped me out with my touring cars problems. (the book mostly) i read it and made alot of changes to the car itself. Thanks to casey for those PHAT rims and tires that make my car look sweet. Hope to come back and be faster and better for the next race, then maybe i won't choke in the main....:( Ohh well chat laters.

Thought for the day...It must be the rims.

The regionals were awesome. It was a great time. Tons of people. The track was fast and the scotty the anouncer is awesome. It didn;t matter if it was the c main and two guys were battling for 7th and 8th place. Scotty made it all exciting. I can't wait till the Nationals. As Greg said I ran A-MAIN batteries and they were awesome. I can't wait to go back for the nationals. This time I will know what to expect. My buddy John Sparks has a ballitic car. He just had some bad luck. Keith and Greg in 19 turn did a good job as well. The 19turn class had some stiff competition. Next time we will all have a better Idea. Thanks Greg for the Congrats also.

You are right it was awesome. SO much traction and very very close racing. Even tho the race was in one day it was very exciting and took a lot out of me. I Just laid on my butt to watch football. The racing was so close, If I remember right if you could improve your time by four of five seconds you could jump a whole main.

I don't own a puzzle car. But Perry does, I think it would be another class he wouldn't mind mixing it up with. I will try to get some others to go up there that have them.

rowle1jt
11-12-2002, 11:54 AM
They are also running stock and novice truck. You got a stadium truck?

Puzzle car??? They aren't a puzzle if you have a TC3. The shaft makes it easy, a limp belt on the other hand.... well.....makes it a little more difficult. :D

So what makes you call them a puzzle car? Bad experince or what? If you can tune an oval car, then you can tune a puzzle car. :)
Jake

Oval Guys call them puzzle cars because the routes they drive remind up of driving around puzzle piece shapes. :D

stock truck Foam tires(truck tires not pancar tires) 6-cells
stock touring cars Foam tires 6-cell
4-cell stock pancar
novice (buggy or truck) Rubber tires(onroad tread pattern) 6-cell

If there are enough that want to run we will run 6-cell pancar.
there must be 5 for trophies.

we will run any other class at a cost of $5.00 but they will run for ribbons only.

Thanks for the props hock.
