View Full Version : Outlaw Racing Products
chris13 01-19-2004, 01:49 AM I have started a new company called Outlaw Racing Products, which introduced a new oval conversion chassis called the "Demon." The "Demon" was designed and cnc machined inhouse by Outlaw Racing Products. The Outlaw Racing Team has done some track testing in the past 4 weeks with great success. The "Demon" kit includes chassis, bumper, top plate, bottom plate, shock brace, and standoffs which is avalible now for $135.00. Still designing an assorment of t-plates which will be avalible soon. My web site is still under construction but you can reach me for any info or how to get your hands on one, drop me an email to outlawracingproducts13@yahoo.com.
Pictures would be great. I love pictures :D

Wheel'Her 01-21-2004, 11:16 PM Hey Chris I see that where you mount yout t plate you have two holes side by side when most t plates mount with one screw through a pivot ball whats the reasoning for the two hole set up looks pretty neat just inquiring,
Corey

chris13 01-22-2004, 09:10 AM wheel'her there are two sets of holes for the t-plate so that you can offset the rear pod one set the car is centered and the other will move the rear pod to the left so all you have to do is unbolt the t-plate and move it to the other set of holes to make that ajustment. THNX,Chris
MobileMikeV 01-22-2004, 10:46 PM How thick is this chassis?

burbs 08-16-2004, 12:12 AM danny detlaff takes econd place in open mod with the demon at the roar paved nats.... the car was unreal.. had he not tapped the wall a few times., it would have been a good run with first..
Mitch R 08-16-2004, 10:38 AM A question on offsetting the rear pod. If you move the pod to the left, dosen't that take chassis weight off the left rear and add left rear whhel weight? Looks like you would be better off offsetting the T-plate to the right and offsetting the pod farther left?
Thanks,
Mitch
burbs 08-18-2004, 10:49 PM mitch this is something ORP is looking at.. yes in theory u are right... but on the track it doesnt work as the theory states....
chris13 08-18-2004, 11:56 PM I just want to congradulate my team drivers, Jeff Skomski, Danny Detlaff, Jeff Carlson, Mike Burbey for a great showing at the paved nats good job guys.
Mitch, your theory is correct but I thought I would try something different. On the other hand it hasnt been a issue on the track I think from my experience from racing the full size cars getting the car in the corner usually not a problem but on the other hand getting it out of the corner is allways not that easy I think moving the whole t bar and pod to the left will for sure get the car off the corner from the middle out is were the races are won or lost we have tried a assc. bottom plate left the car center and offset it on the pod really didnt make that big of a change on the track the car has been very competitive and have had good luck with it so far. Chris
Burbs how is the car comming going to have it done by the regoinals
burbs 08-19-2004, 12:10 AM the car is built i sent u an email about it.. lemme know if u got it
