cneyedog 02-05-2005, 01:14 PM Good luck to Team PRS at the Birds. I will not be there until Friday but good luck and we'll see ya'll there!
Friday  ..... you're gonna miss all the lack of sleep and craziness the rest of the week !! .....
MK Race 02-05-2005, 04:25 PM a_vdk- I have run a 40 on a 132 with my KSG. Might have run bigger, just can't remember. You can get just a little more pinion on the car by running a steel t-plate.
Fireball929 02-06-2005, 10:12 AM What do guys recomend for a spur gear in 4 cell stock on a small flat track. I have run a 120 and a 124 but haven't really seen any difference except putting on one tooth bigger.
Thanks,
Fireball929

cneyedog 02-06-2005, 10:43 AM I run a 100 tooth spur in 19T and 4 cell stock. Opinions vary i guess ....... its usually different in everyones area .... it just happens to work for me. I'd be interested in what some other opinions and reasons for running bigger or smaller.
I think it also depends on what kind of car you run, how big a pinion/spur combo you can squeeze on there ......... lol
erock1331 02-06-2005, 11:46 AM The 3 stock nationals I TQ'd were all with a PRS Pro-lite 112 on. Not sure why but the Monster motor seems to like the 32-37 pinion range. I have gone higher 116, 120, 124 and lower 94 & 108 and it just wasn't the same.

Team PRS
MK Race 02-06-2005, 06:32 PM For stock, I've run a 124 or 128 almost everywhere. On a real short tight track I'd switch to a 132.
katf1sh 02-17-2005, 09:44 PM tony just wanted to thank the PRS crew for all the help at the birds and for the great tacos! lol class act even better gears! thanks again bill

MK Race 03-16-2005, 12:48 PM WOW, I was so stunned that I won the Stock class at the Region 8 Carpet Oval race in Omaha, that I forgot to mention those great PRS gears that I used.
I used the 124 in the qualifiers and switched to the 128 for the main. I had a 116 on my stock brushless that qualified #2, just had a malfunction in the main though. I think that was a PRS spur gear on the second place car of Phil B.
Thanks guys. Now it's off to Vinton Iowa for there big race.
erock1331 03-16-2005, 12:55 PM MK Nice job

cneyedog 11-12-2005, 10:37 AM Tony, you gonna race this year at the birds? ........ or just pester brooks until he passes out on the bed and looks like a big taco ?......lolololol.

Tornado_Racing 11-13-2005, 10:37 AM Hey Kat,
What's up my Taco Bell eat'n buddy? Off-road has always seemed to slow down over the winter so time to get the Touring Oval going for the Birds. I hope I get there in time to join you guys for the steak dinner I hear you were paying for! lol
Were also gonna have to do the Taco Bell thing again. Maybe this year we'll spread the word and get about 50 tacos. Yummy..............
Hey Rich,
Looks as if PRS will field a car in the Touring Oval class (PRS will be sponsoring the Touring Oval class again) and yes whatever I can do to pester good old Brooksie!
We all need to do a better job of keeping Brooksie away from the locals. I think that's why he got sick, if ya'll know what I mean! lol lol lol
Looks to be another fun year with a week long of no sleep!
katf1sh 11-13-2005, 12:35 PM did the "rash" ever clear up for brooks?
Tornado_Racing 11-13-2005, 03:26 PM After a few months and lots of creme, yes it did finally clear up. He did look kinda funny with a white frothy ring around his mouth though.............
It trully was a Kodak moment!
Tornado_Racing 11-29-2005, 03:24 PM With a huge success at the 2005 Snowbirds, PRS - Precision Racing Systems - has decided to bring back the TQ/Win bonus program.
If a driver TQ's an A-main - Oval and On-road - with a PRS pinion, spur, and decal on the body they will receive a $50.00 cash bonus.
If a driver Wins an A-main - Oval and On-road - with a PRS pinion, spur, and decal on the body they will receive a $50.00 cash bonus.
Each driver must contact a PRS representative after the run so the car and driver name can be verified and scored as TQ may change after each run. Cars must be tech'd for legality.
It is the drivers responsibility to contact a PRS rep. for tech, scoring, and bonus collection. *A PRS decal on the body is mandatory along with a PRS pinion and spur to be eligible for the bonus program. Tech will be made easy for the driver as we will have a pit room pool side with a banner.
Each bonus will be paid at the trophy presentation and the driver must be present with his/her car and body to collect.
We are very excited to bring this program back to the Snowbirds again for 2006. Thanks to Mike and the whole Snowbirds crew for putting on this great American race.
