IndyRC_Racer 03-20-2007, 02:02 PM Thank you PRS for the smaller spur gears. Thanks for listening to the racers.
Will the smaller spurs work on a TC3/TC3 or will they need to be modified?

rockin_bob13 05-02-2007, 11:06 AM Well, we just had the first Velo race of the year. I ran a 10.5 against 19turn. Reports say b/l should be faster, but I wasn't. Only close. In the other classes I've run out there, I've always preferred as big a spur as can fit and a pinion to make the ratio. With the b/l, the best ratio I could get was using an 88t spur, which is WAY smaller than anything I ran in any other classes. I wish I could get some bigger pinions so I can move the motor farther foward with a bigger spur for more leverage.
Humpty 05-02-2007, 01:35 PM PRS has 15 thru 60 tooth Pinions...And with a 60 you have to set your mesh tale off the pinion and then tighten up the motor ...And put your pinion back on ...
rockin_bob13 05-02-2007, 01:44 PM I did it all weekend, no problem.
rockin_bob13 05-14-2007, 02:53 PM How are we comin' on the bigger pinions?

RC4less 07-22-2008, 04:55 PM Let me bump this thread back to the top with a big thanks to PRS for something customers may take for granted. I just received a large inventory order from PRS and UPS bashed in the bottom of the box such that I was worried on first inspection that some of the gears might have fallen out. When I opened the box I was pleasently reminded that PRS packed the order in a heavy duty plastic bag inside the box. If these had just been tossed loosely into a box the UPS driver would have had 40 or 50 pinions bags in the floor of the truck. Just taking the time to "double pack" the order saved the UPS driver a bitching from some old pain in the ass guy. Tony please pass along my thanks not only for a quality product but equally high quality customer service.
BT
jdearhart 08-03-2008, 04:31 PM For anyone who needs to get in touch with Tony, please call him instead of email. I talked to him earlier today and his computer crashed. If you don't have his phone number, PM me and I'll get it to you.
Oh yea, thanks for the great gears!! TQ and win last night with a new track record in 21.5/lipo!
