The stock motor is basically a monster with the purple endbell and the armature is epoxy balance.

willis

Any luck with the Alabama Gang GASCAR racers? We have 3 coming for sure from Macon.

kevina250
02-16-2005, 12:45 AM
Don't know. I left a post on the website about the race. All of us that are coming are Gascar members. But from the Ala. group I really don't know. It would be nice if they did. I think they would really enjoy it.

Snowbirds are in the books now it is time to concentrate on Daytona.
Get those entries in so we can send out the passes and you can just drive into the Gate 7. With it being Oval only we should have a lot of practice time and an extra qualifier.
Cliff, alot of Nitro interest I heard of several coming from GA,SC, and NC.
If any one can not get a flyer let me know and we will send one.
See everyone in about a month. Thanks Mel

can we paypal entries??

also, i know i am going to run .12, but have considered running brushless, can i just sign up for .12 now and then decide maybe to add brushless once i get there??

the reason i am asking is, i will make the determination based on entries. if there are large fields, so as to give plenty of time b/n races then i would run both, but i am not going to kill myself trying to rush just to run both.

Echeconnee
02-16-2005, 09:43 PM
run them both, piece of cake, I end up running 3 classes every year but hey, that's why I go, to race. We are bringing 4 brushless from GA for sure, I'm not sure how many there will be but it will be fun no matter what. The only car I will end up having to spend a lot of time on will be my 19t. The NItro either works or it don't and brushless should be a cake walk as well other than getting the chassis right. DAYTONA, HERE WE COME!!

mmccoy
02-18-2005, 08:17 AM
Oval racer 2, we have never messed with Paypal, just send it in on the snail mail and we will send the passes to you. Once you get there you add classes.

Getting good response to this Oval only format. Should be more practice time and one qualifier.

See ya at Daytona

Looks like I may try the speedway asphalt this year too. I didnt destroy my new Dodge body at da'birds so after watching several real Dodge's bite the bullet today I think I'll sacrifice a lexan one to the Daytona gods. See y'all there, Racing or not.

19 turn will have the largest entry list for sure..something like 40 entries? or 5 heats

you can go back on the thunder page and look up last years results.

Hey Guys, we got the passes today(Thurs.), we will send them out ASAP.Be sure and pre-enter because we will not be able to have someone outside the gate this year. The security will make you park outside and walk in to find us to get a pass, lotta of walking and a major pain. So get those entries in. We have a record number of pre-entries,looks like it will be good year. See ya Mel
TV13 good to see ya coming looks like good nitro year.

way to make a stand w/ pre-entries nitro headz!!!

just waiting for my passes and i will be set, still thinking of adding brushless. i will decide when i get there. i have a 10hr. ride to ponder it, but the car will be with me.

can't wait to meet alot of you guys. i have an off the wall suggestion. what about putting our hobbytalk names w/ a simple labeling machine across either the top of the windshield or just above windshield on body, so that we can put names and faces together. all we need is a basic labeling machine. just a thought!!
