Bruce your car has to weigh 5 pounds. Are you going to mix it up in 19t with us or are you sticking with 12th scale?

Cliff, I've stuffed the kindergarden for too long in 1/12 and besides JoMamma has retired from work and a defeat at his age could be devestating so I'm back in the ranks of 1/10 19-Turn. Doing a little testing anyway and need to run 1/10 instead of 1/12 for the moment. I'm sure Fuller, Boylan, Moukie, TinMan and the rest of the normal 1/10 gang won't mind having the red licked off their candy (again). Some as old as Fuller might still have scary memories from years gone by and there may even be some lingering injuries from the dreaded 1/10 version of the Figure4 LegLock but as I said Ol' JoMamma may show up in a feeble state at best.

Bean let me go on record if Malin enters 1/10 19-Turn don't get yourself into something that your insurance won't cover. Just play like you didn't see the entry and give him a refund. Can you see the EMT's trying to get down the speedway banking and lugging him out?? Knee surgery at his age would be a stain on the event and I can't be held responsible!

Hey Guys who told Wade about the Speedway Race this year. He even made the race at Strickland. Hey Cliff it is in the bag for you Boys as Bean has never broke the gas car out this early. He has Jinxed the Streak. Now he has a 1/8 scale Buggy.

I hear ya, lol. I lose something in the front end every year and end up limping to a finish. Have shoe goo will travel and been taking figure 4 lessons from Triplett and learning to apply pressure in NITRO. I got a can of it this year for the Bean :dude:

Just as well... his beautiful little girl doesn't need to see Daddy laid up for weeks on end due to the bashing he's in for. As for licking the red off their candy goes..... :confused:

I'm going to run 19t, but I know I dont stand a chance any way. But I sure will be taking pic's and mpeg video of the action! Looks to be an exciting field next week.

Sorry Katfish, I think a GA racer will win both 19t and stock. In fact the first place car in stock is either going to have an 88 or a 99 on the side. As for 19t, I hope it's me, I got that killer Bulit HP now all I have to do is hit the set up, lol

Katfish The Ga. Gang has been running strong , Jerry, Donnie , myself all have our Stockers ready for some flat track asphalt. A Georgia racer has won stock the last 4 years in a row :thumbsup: Should be some great action in all the classes

well wade, I have the nitro oval car so tuned and dialed at this point, Beans car is gonna cry for it's momma, lol. The nitro touring car is just for fun, I really don't think I will do that well and the only work I will have to do on it will be if I break something. So that brings me down to 2 classes that I really have to concentrate on. Stock and 19t. I will be at the track when they open the gates thursday to try and get a spot next to the track. I will be in Daytona wednesday around 6-7pm.

Katf1sh, Is there any chance of getting on the speedway thursday for some practice runs? You seemed to be the guy who is hooked up with the info?

the only way you get onto daytona intl speedway property is with a gate pass..those gate passes are very hard to come by..with the 911 security issues the speedway plays no games..we are allowed in the gate on friday at t he time listed and we "all" must leave atthe posted time..noone gets left behind..noone enters until friday..sorry hank..the pass is the reason why the entry is so much..that along with the 1500.00 bill for just renting that area in turn 4........ you guys have hobbyworld..you dont need no stinking practcie..well at least phil dont! errrrrrr :rolleyes:

i will enter touring oval if it is 19 turn..i dont own any ratty stock motors anymore..

don to answer your question..

the corally assasin is a direct drive car. this means it does not go through all those gears and junk before the power is applied to the tires. the ratio i ran at the snowbirds would require a spur and pinnion you cannot fit on a reg touring car. i ended up running a 20-96 48 pitch ..the final drive is crazy low compared to all other touring cars..and if it's a stock motor forget about it, i have no clue..think of the assasin like a dominator..that is the reason i liked the car for oval..

also never use rubber tires if foams are allowed..and at the speedway race either is legal..so you will need foams..plaid fronts and purple rears to start with...also i'm not sure if bean will allow the use of a wing or just spoiler on them?

i'm thinking mike will run a class if it has 3 or 4 entries in it? that means there could be a stock and 19 turn touring oval class..again i'm not 100% sure on that either...i'm gonna bring it and see what shakes down..

as for tires i didnt know if you had to run either or,, at hobby world they only run rubber tires, there again thats road coarse ,, Man you know i dont know all this tc stuff :lol: so i had to ask you

as for motors i was goin to run the stock since i dont have that many 19t motors ,, the ones i got iam running in 12th .
