Man what a weekend, I will be back next year with something to prove in brushless class. If a tire looks like it will not make I will change it. Truck was a lot of fun as well, I did better than expected. The GA gang made the A-main in Gas, Stock, Nastruck and Brushless. Thanks for helping out with gearing Donnie 99 and set-up Cliff.

Well, Now That I Am Work On Moday W/ 3 .5 Hrs Sleep, I Can Honestly Say I Had A Blast. I Can't Wait Until Next Year. This Was The Best Ran Show Overall That I Have Been To Since Racing Rc. Great Job Mb,scarecrow And All The Sponsors.

The North Carolina Boys Put Up A Good Showing. 1,2,3 In Nitro And 1st In Brushless. Not Bad!! The Nitro Cars Put On A Great Show, And I Think Nitro Will Be Even Bigger Next Year.

I Managed To Win Brushless, By 1 Sec., And Finish 2nd To A Hard Charging Kevin Andrews In Nitro. I Had It At The End Until I Pile Drived The Front End On A Spun Car. Talk About Plowing, I Had To Use The Brake To Turn The Car After That, Lost By .9 Sec, Oh Well Thats Racing. Joe Mama, Don't Sweat It. It Is Just One Of Those Things That Happens.

Thanks, Charlie Yates For Helping Me Completely Rebuild My Brushless Car On Sat. Night. It Was 10 Times Better On Sunday. I Bet You Guys Didn't Think Yates Would Work On An Electric Car Did You!!

I Really Enjoyed Meeting All The Racers From Hobbytalk And Others. Rowdyrj, I Wish Your Tire Had Stayed W/ You. That Would Have Been A Heck Of A 3 Way Battle In Brushless. Ccollingsworth, IT WAS FUN RACING YOU IN THE MAIN. maybe That Class Will Grow Next Year.

Btw, The Mud On The Seat At 7 Am Was Not Cool. I Hope Their Aim On The Track Was Better Than In The John!!!!lol

What a great race, again! I wish I could have broken up that NC 123 in Nitro but it wasn't meant to be, sorry Jo-Mamma. Congrats to all of the winners because if you did happen to win, you darn sure earned it! I have to take back what I said about the "purple" motors, I ran the same one all weekend and it just kept getting better, too bad I didn't notice the frozen rear bearing, DOH! Thanks to MB racing for layin out da bucks for this event every year. Scarecrow, well what else can you say, the race direction was awesome to say the least, there is no better on the mike! This past weekend was some of the cleanest racing I have seen in years, great job guys! I hope to see some of the same crowd at the pooler race, you guys are the best! Oh yea, I have to thank Bean for the really big T-shirts this year they look great! See y'all in 2 weeks.............

Big thanks to Mike Bean, Curt, Mel and the entire MB Racing group for a fantastic race.

It was good to see all the boys from the other coast, Boylan, Baran, Tinman, Spicer and the guys from Georgia Phil Owen, Neal Dees, and Troy Meredith..... and of course all of "Team Daytona" Bill,Troy,Tony, Big Ed, Ronnie,Billy Bruce..... last but not least the Jax boys Butts (tm) and the Pedano's (Tom thanks for the cookies, dont show up at Strickland without them...lol) and anyone else I might have forgotten....... Everyone was having a good time........and the racing was just unbelieveable ........... fast and clean. AWESOME !

I think this is some of the closest racing in the 1/10th 4 cell 19T class I have ever seen or been a part of, especially at the Speedway Spectacular.

I was 6th overall going into the "rocket round" last qualifier and got bumped to 13th over all when qualifying was over ....... if you were off the least little bit boom you were out of the A .... I'm talkin like half a tenth a lap in some cases........ I got bumped and wasnt mad .... I couldnt be with everything that close and qualifers as clean as they were all I could say was Damn this is still cool. LOL.

here's a pic of the main sheet for the A and B ..... check out the times.......WOW.

Speedway Spectacular Main Sheet (http://home.cfl.rr.com/cneyedog/mainsheet.html)

Thanks to all the sponsors who helped with the Raffle and to BigDogRC for providing the trackside hobbyshop.

hope to see everyone again next year !

How is the brushless racing coming?

honestly rodney, i have not ran the car at all since daytona. it has been in hibernation since the spectacular. no one locally wants to run them anymore. they do not want to take the time to set up the car to be fast, then get frustrated by being beat and quit running.

i did see a thread that caught my eye the other day. they are considering running brushless at the roar nats at bms this year. that may be the next time i get to run it. at least it will not be worn out, as it will be only the second race on the car and brushless system!!

if not at bms, it may be daytona bound next year!!!

i see you guys are having a blast running brushless and break out. i have be running mainly nitro pan this summer, .09's and .12's locally,.09 carolina challenge series and gascar series races.

maybe we can get together sometime soon for a rematch!!lol

be sure to let chris know about bms as well.

We been getting down into 5.8 to 6.0 on our 305 driveline at our track. My personal 49 laps. I'm still learning my car and working on set-ups. I will be back at Daytona if life last for the rematch.
