**STOCK SHOOTOUT**

Congrats to Frank Peachock on his awesome TQ and win.
Never in one night have I seen the stock record (old Record 53 4:03) be broken by 3 different people.

First Adam Martin sets the TQ at 54 4:02, then Eric Hutkay busts out a 54 4:01. That didnt last long as Martin ran a faster 4:01, only to be trumped by Peachock's ballistic 54 4:00 run in the 3rd round.

In the main Martin lead early but battling hard with Peachock got the bad end of the shake, Peachock wins with a 54 4:00 with Hutkay 54 4:03 and Martin in 3rd.

That was some of the best stock racing I have ever seen.

Zach Messenger worked the bugs out of his car to qualify him 4th in the 3rd round. Mario Marsilio TQ'd 5th, car was good but lacked a little rip. The Y-city boy's Andy Stotts and Kenny Mox had bad fast cars, in the fast 53 lap range all night. Joel Biro, Doug Baldwin, and Adrian Chandler rounded out the TOP 10.

Can't wait for the next stock shootout, always a good time and gets everybody involved. Everybody running the same class gets the excitement up to where it should be !!!

Dusty, I spoke to Frank he will be there running 19 turn. Also Adam will be back. So if you come thats a tough field. Adam Martin has been running very well and the you will have Joel, Dave, Rick White, and maybe a couple others.

Finishline Solid or Triangle both work good.

I run straight up at Classic. As to which is faster, its more a matter of preference, me and Martin ran straight up and went 54 4:01, Frank was offset and ran 54 4:00. I have always liked how free my car feels with being straight up.

MOD MAIN was an awesome show last night!
Two car race realy, Ricky and Mario duked it out, with a fox and hound run to the finish, which could have went either way! great Job Mario, and Rick!
If Mario had made one little Mistake It would have gone the other way. I wouldn't have attempted to spit between the two cars for most the race....Could it be the awesome Power of Hefty cells that made the difference?
Could be...LOL!
Zack Messenger and His KSG were on fire as usual with a couple solid 54's till a HUGE DOG PILE in turn 1 during the A main's initial laps took it's toll on several top contends, including Zack's "BLUE BULLET"..car.
Adrian, (AJ), Chandler, did an awesome job with a return run of 53 4 flat,,running his trusty 510BT....(who says HD is taking a back seat not I)
Mike Obrian also made a return vist to the Akron carpet with his RIP car, and was a true force to be recond with!..I missed the 19 turn action preping my ride, and hate to toot my own horn, Other than to say thank you too...Hefty Cells, and Finish Line's Rick White along with Team 1 motors, and Integy, for providing the tools for some major rip! Also thanks to TM Tires for the means to apply grip to that rip..LOL!..wish I had more details to report...but I will say this...If you enjoy watching some close fast oval racing...you missed a GREAT SHOW last night folks.
