Not a problem Mike, glad to have had you there. I have to agree, that was by far one of the most original and exctiting track designs I've ever seen. That took some thinking to come up with Im sure! We're going to be doing more of the free food days real real soon.
fatboylosi 12-14-2004, 07:52 PM hey John, I'll have my kids with me at the track this weekend, any possibility of running a novice class for them?

Mike Champ 12-16-2004, 11:54 PM Hey Guys,
I have 3 GREAT track layouts ready for this WE.
So, bring your http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/36/36_7_14.gif (http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb001_ZNxdm006) and come and join the fun at GLRC.
If you show up early enough (let's say around 4:30ish), YOU can decide what layout of the track you prefer and race on it... Isn't that great !!!
I know a lot of the people that tried the last 3 track layouts I've proposed, loved it and really had FUN. So, bring it on !!!
Hope to see a lot of you there...
Mike

Mike Champ 12-19-2004, 03:39 PM Thanks Mike for your efforts in designing and taking the time to lay out such cool tracks each week that will challange even the best drivers and make it fun for all skill levels in stadium trucksYour welcome Fred. It is great to be part of a real club !!!
Can't find that friendly atmosphere anywhere else...
I will have more designs ready for after the holidays
Also,
Steven, you can run my 2nd truck anytime if you want.
I will run foam next time though, so I need to bring my other used set of foam tires, so we can both run foam and chase the FAST Mr Jessie...
Nice race BTW Jessie... But watch out... 'cause I was on your tail, right there... ONLY 2 laps behind... lol
It was fun running the Mini-T. This thing is moving pretty fast now... It was amazing clearing the double with that...
Great time, as expected... I'll be there next year for some more FUN...
Happy holidays to all the RC racers. Take care.

fatboylosi 12-21-2004, 12:25 AM saturday was fun, but wanted to pull my hair out by the end of the night with all the problems that the kids and I had with the trucks!!!!!!
next time I bring the kids I think I'm just going to let them race and I'll play crew chief for the night, too much work keeping 3 trucks going all night!!!

psycho02 01-02-2005, 02:28 AM I c u down there winkleman, up a little late arn't ya!
Fred Knapp 01-03-2005, 07:24 PM OK, Here's the deal folks.
I'm constantly getting asked about new carpet.
So I am thinking about just going out an buying new carpet for the track.
The real stuff, Ozite just like we ran on in Cleveland this year.
As most of you local racers know our attendance has fallen off tremendously
over the last six weeks for what ever reason, and its getting to the point where some of the rent will become a personal expense.
The question is will I get enough support to warrant that kind of personal
expense for carpet also? The oval program seems to be building while the stadium crowd is almost non-existent and the on-road is so-so.
Your input would really be appreciated.

I should be set on the b4 part, I am only gonna run the b4 on dirt and dirt just does not put that much of a load on that part, As far as the "wheeler" All I no is that I am gonna run 4 wheel and that it is going to be X5.........or academy I should have it figured out soon j/k I have nothing figured out I still don't know 100% if I am going to run bk2 or b4 for 2 wheel. The only thing I know for sure is that I am going to concentrate on the mars, no nitro for me this summer. (nitro is the devil:devil:)
crashmaster 01-09-2005, 11:03 PM I bet you do.

Fred Knapp 01-13-2005, 02:58 PM It is with regret that I must inform the RC racing community that GLRC is
closing its doors. It is a decision that I struggled with for several weeks and
has become more clear with each passing day. Most of you know that GLRC
has had its share of internal issues and struggles over that passed several
years and it is unfortunate. Over the past year or so I gave it my best to
help sort through some of the problems that surrounded GLRC and mend some of the broken fences, but I guess it just wasn't meant to be. It is my
hope that I had some possitive effect on our hobby.
