I was curious to see if you had an extra sprint car you would lend to me for a test-drive on saturday. I'd pay for any anything that would happen to break ( But since I'm a pro that won't happen  ) . If so call me at the house. Also, you still running in monster truck? Cause i got a surprize for all you T-maxx guys that like to drag race me down the straight . see yall then  Zack zsamples 05-06-2004, 09:40 PM Hi everyone, Does Allen have a schedule yet for dirt season or are you guys still huddling indoors? Zack REFLEX1/12 05-06-2004, 10:15 PM Hey Zack, We went out the otherday and the track is ready but we need to build the stand I think we will start on it on the 12th>>.Give Allen a call or ask him this weekend..Kevin MK Race 05-06-2004, 10:58 PM Am I going to see the new stand from here? zsamples 05-06-2004, 11:18 PM Thanks Reflex 1/12! Zack Ralf 05-09-2004, 05:48 PM Looks like my EX Sprint car did pretty good in it's first outing! Way to go MK and Bob! Ralf MK Race 05-10-2004, 12:47 AM Ralf, the car ran real good. Made a few changes. The brushless was pretty neat. Track was awesome, good job Tom. Racing was real good too, would have interesting if we wouldn't got together at the start. Joe Novak 05-10-2004, 09:55 AM Hey Mk I think the flames on the wing is what pushed you into second!! Hard to imagine all those brushless in the a-main and getting beat by a brushed! Randy was fast, but Bottoms was catching him every lap,if not for that last wreck between turns 1 and 2 I think he would have ran him down. infrontracing 05-10-2004, 08:28 PM I had a good time and the car did well. Everyone ran great for it being the first race of the year. The track record was shattered. I want to thank Bottoms for pulling over and letting Mike and I fill the 2nd and 3rd place spots. I might of had a chance to catch someone if my battery wasnt done an hour before the main. I didnt anticipate the 2 1/2 hour space between rounds. Mike- We hope to see you at Allens this year for some good racing. Sprints are going to be closer racing than ever this year. close=fun MK Race 05-10-2004, 09:09 PM I do plan on making Allen's a lot this summer. Kevin, what ratio for Allen's? You were right for the gear at Jacksonville and thanks for pulling over. Joe Novak 05-11-2004, 09:16 AM Hey MK whats the going price on used diffs? I have a guy wanting to sell me two old style with associated diff rings and one hex style all three for 125.00 is that a good price? Thanks Joe Joe Novak 05-11-2004, 09:28 AM Also just wanted to mention how good the PRS pinions worked out,no problem at all with them! pontoongirly06 05-11-2004, 05:25 PM Mikey are they still racing late models there, i mean after my daddy went through and dedirted my car (it was in pieces for 3 months) i wouldnt want to not be able to DRIVE up there (by my self) (that is if im not at MY JOB) and not be able to run my car (with its new body) Ralf 05-11-2004, 05:27 PM MK, Got the check and the pictures. Thanks. Love NC but still miss racing with you guys at Pontoon. Got my stuff together and am going to practice at CW tomorrow. Banked asphalt about 250' runline. 6-cell spec racing is the most popular class here. Good luck at Allen's with the sprint car. Wish I could run a brushless and stopp fooling with the motors so much, thats the only thing you can really work on at home though. Kind of tough to see results to a chassis adjustment without going to the track. Thats what I reall need is a track in the back yard! Ralf pontoongirly06 05-11-2004, 05:28 PM ralf, its big enouf thats for sure. how is the dane liking being able to roam free w/o being caught by the dog nappers? Ralf 05-11-2004, 06:47 PM The Dane loves it here. He has a little over two acres fenced in that he can roam on. Since we moved here he has seen grouse, turkeys, geese, ducks, deer, chipmunks, flying squirrels, possum, and I think they were chasing a racoon the night before last. You and your Daddy going to Allen's this season? Watch out for the blue and orange sprint car! Anybody heading for the coast, stop by Candler and say Hi! Got room, can put up a half a dozen for a few days. Good luck racing this season! Ralf pontoongirly06 05-11-2004, 07:25 PM oh no clue, i have to work most saturdays, unless they hire some more people this summer. lol sounds like chesterfield hehe, turkey, geese, ducks, deer, chipmunks, squirrels, possum, and racoons lol! MK Race 05-11-2004, 07:48 PM Hey Girlygirl, Bob ran my latemodel at Jacksonville and I think he might have liked it just a little. He is talking about going to Allen's too. He is also looking for an Intimidator. Where are you working? Joe Novak 05-12-2004, 09:41 AM Hey MK there is a guy on dirtoval and here that has a couple of intimidators for sale one is 125 and the other is 150 his user name is jet! :) rcavenger 05-12-2004, 01:38 PM MK, what kind of outdoor track is there at Allens? dirt oval, offroad? also, if it is dirt oval, do you know what classes they run? workin on a mod truck for dirt oval here in peoria..:) infrontracing 05-12-2004, 11:51 PM This is the web site for Allens. It should tell what you need to know. I can tell you it is a really nice track and good place to race. Very nice indoor track durring winter season too. http://www.allensrccars.com/Index.html -Scott MK Race 05-13-2004, 11:04 PM Hey Joe, not sure what to say about the diffs. 125 might be a bit high, maybe wait to pick up just one diff first. Maybe some of the guys that buy the direct drive cars to convert to gearbox woould be looking to get rid of a diff. pontoongirly06 05-14-2004, 12:22 AM hey mikey im working at ponticellos by my house...long hours but lots of moneh...lol i c..what kind of competition do we have this year? any? Joe Novak 05-14-2004, 09:07 AM I will start checking around with some other guys, but now that I think about it,it does not take that long to rebuild the diff does it,maybe I will just stock up on all the parts I need to rebuild my diff! REFLEX1/12 05-14-2004, 05:46 PM MK, How do you feel about the race we had ? MK Race 05-14-2004, 09:08 PM I thought the race was pretty good. I don't think anybody got lapped. I was last after the first turn mishap and passed only 2 cars that didn't wreck. Murray and you I passed when you guys stuffed it. I was real happy with the car and can't wait till Allen's. Joe Novak 05-17-2004, 09:20 AM He said reflex stuffed it!!!!!!!! Joe Novak 05-25-2004, 10:58 AM Hey Mk are you going to try to make it to Allen's on wed? REFLEX1/12 05-25-2004, 12:38 PM Hey J-novak After last sat night I dont think MK will be racing us anymore :) Joe Novak 05-25-2004, 01:34 PM Did you see the sprint A-main....What a race that was!!! MK Race 05-25-2004, 05:22 PM Hey Joe, didn't see the main but heard about it. I do plan on making some Wednesdays, not this Wednesday, looks like rain. Should be there Saturday, weather permitting. Hey Reflex12, why would I quit racing with you guys? No competition? Saturday I had the 2nd place guy out qualified by 3 laps before I had to leave. The race before that I set an unbelievable track record and had the field covered by 10 laps.:jest:  MK Race 05-27-2004, 09:27 PM Did you guys race Wednesday? Joe Novak 05-28-2004, 09:20 AM Got rained out,we would have been able to run,but allen watered the track and then about twenty minutes later it rained for about ten minutes,if he would not have watered we could have raced. We stuck around and played for a while, are you coming up saturday? zsamples 06-01-2004, 11:24 PM Hey Guys, I plan on commin over tommorow and race. I was wondering what time the races start and when registration ends. Later--Zack infrontracing 06-01-2004, 11:25 PM OK guys.... We have let our poor thread fall back the 2nd page. We need some racing to talk about, Whos going to Allens tomorrow? Come on Kelm...... you can make it. We need a big turn out for some good paint trading. infrontracing 06-01-2004, 11:28 PM Im not sure about registration but racing usually starts around 7:30 at the earliest. I would say sign up ends between 6:30 and 7;00. Dont hold me to it though. infrontracing 06-01-2004, 11:32 PM Zack, you need to get Joe lined out on his Emaxx so he will run it with ya. He just needs to figure out some things like... wether or not to use the 2 speed and what motors to run. It is a tricked out maxx he just needs to dial it in.
