Cliff, There Are At Least 3 Coming From Nc This Year.

Also, You Did Not Take Joe Mama Out Enough Man, I Pegged Him In Turn 1 While Leading W/ 45 Seconds Left, Caving The Front Of My Body In, And Kevin Ran Me Down At The Finish. So In Other Words, When You Take Someone Out, Make Sure They Are Totally Done!! Lol

Also Bringing .09's W/ Us. I Hope They Let Us Run Them, Heck I Would Even Bet The .09's Are Faster Than The .12's Anyway. Maybe I Can Run My .09 In The .12 Class. Hehehehe!

I just got off the phone with Mike Bean. There will, in fact, be a brushless class @ the Speedway Spectacular race in 2006. The motor will be the 4300 Novak and the controller can be any of the Novaks and the LRP sphere. Nitro will also be offered in both .12 and .09 classes provided there are at least 6 entries for both. You Nitro guys will want to post here if you are planning on coming so the other nitro heads will know which car or cars to bring.

I know I will run both .12 and .09. I know of 3 others will do the same. So that makes 4 for .12 and .09 that I know of.

It sounds like we may have a full field of both engines, GREAT! Where are all the other gas heads? Roger, Tim, Marlin the other Tim and the like? You know, the GASCAR gang, are they worried about running on foams? C'mon guys, this is DAYTONA!!!

I can't speak for the other GASCAR guys but I will start training the replacement for my position at work on Monday. I have two months to get it done without missing anytime off.

You guys have fun & I will catch up to you at one of the GASCAR/Carolina series races!

:thumbsup:Donnie, what about you and Sammy, you both have NItro pan cars? Chris is talking about running his .12 and I am still working on Mike. I know we can probably put together 15+ .12 racers if we work at it. I don't know a lot of the .09 guys so we will need some help getting the word out. I think Daytona should be the kick off race for the GASCAR and .09 series:cool:

Can someone email me the particulars of this race...... motels, track size, start times and where to send the entry???????????

Echeconnee
01-20-2006, 04:25 PM
We usually stay at the La Quinta on speedway blvd next to the wing house (easy to crawl back to hotel) Track is 400+ ft. I would plan on being there on thursday March 23rd, racing starts friday and runs through Sunday. It takes 3 days because we have to be out of the speedway by 6pm daily. Mike Bean puts on the race and will be posting entry fees and forms soon and where to send them. This is one hell of a race every year and I can't wait for SS06. If you need set up tips just ask.

Man you need to learn to things before you step up and start racing and talking noise again. Be able to win against a 10 year old and 2 learn to work on your own car. Maybe then and only then will you may be able to beat Amanda from Brandford, Chris and myself from Macon. It's going to take you a little bit of work before you can get up to speed with the brushless system. Wait a minute you never had speed before so what difference would a brushless system make now. I will just watch you race in the B Main as always. Keep trying young grasshopper you will get there some day.
