Hey Jim, missed you last night, we had 6 19 turn cars, we sure could have used another serious racer to split up the cars into an "A" and a "B".

The main was pretty crash filled, I don't know why it was so bad, but I have a hunch it started BEFORE the race even started.

Hey Justin... no problem... I couldnt get out of my own way yesterday. All year at our track I fought with a tight car, then go to the Rock and Glens Falls and the car is loose, oh well. I'll get the hang of this car sooner or later.

Just a quick thanks to everyone who attended the Adirondack Carpet Oval Challenge @ Racing City. Over 30 cars was great for a race so late in the season, with the weather outside getting nicer!

i dont think i finished 2nd. i got parked in the wall while leading. next time someone says run em all, im packing up and going home. tore up alot of stuff. :rolleyes:

I didnt break a thing. T-Guns car was dialed. I dunno if it was a smart idea after all the borken parts but i think almost everyone laughed at one point or another. I came from seventh to third...I wont be there this week tho.

Missed you guys at the Nat's. You would have done well too, and I'll tell you that 10 cars works on big tracks ONLY, but you know that now.

Possibly the coolest race I've ever seen was the 19t "A" at the Nats, and I was in it. Only 1 wreck, 1 car ran away and hid, but 2nd through 7th (of 10) finished within 2 seconds, and nobody stayed in there position for more than 2 laps!!!

This was pretty interesting...Apparently ROAR has no written rule on stack length for modified. So since the 19 turn rule was any ROAR approved mod conf. you could have run a 19 turn with a short stack and basically have an 18 turn...That wasn't the inital problem though, The stack length became an issue in open modified. I don't know all the specifics but a shorter stack length MUST have some sort of advantage, even in open modified.
I can't remember all the other stuff right now but I'll think of something and be back.

Mostly everybody thought P-94's were illegal until the day before the race also. We ended up with what was printed in the rulebook and was official rather than what most people thought the rules were. It suppose that since we went by the rules that Hemi wound arms were also legal in 19t.

I overheard the conversation about the short stack arm and rotating mass was mentioned....

When is the next race at this track? looks like a fun track.

I tore all my stuff apart to rebuild for next year. Im gonna have a new ride for next year too.

Im in the process of building a dirt oval for my mini-t and im looking for a 1/10 mod or late model or srpinter. I dunno if i will race it anywhere i else. Im also building a dirt mod body for the mini. I will see ya around dave.

Race #2 of the Summer Series @ Racing City is this Sunday, June 13. Doors open at 10am. Racing will start about 12 noon. Stock pan cars, Stadium trucks, maybe Mini-t and touring cars on oval.

WEEEE. I ran a pack that cycled 4.65@35 and only had 1 motor and I dont think it was the pick of the litter (monster). So you don't need a bunch of new stuff, but it's nice to have :thumbsup:.
