tom, i qualified second tonight in the a and finished 3rd, (second due to a disqualification) which was bull, i saw the car pass inspection, then it got pushed down, hard and didnt make body height. its kind of crap but it has happened to me to before. Fri i ran 4cell stock at vw and broke record by 2 laps. i need to add that it was last years record, but oh well. so that might put me ok for state champ if i can keep up with these guys for next few races, we will see. i want to add that i ran 59 402 with the hyper sled. believe that, and broke vw record, what a weekend for HYPERDRIVE. GIDEUP so how did u do at cinncy GO HYPERDRIVE, CANT WAIT TILL BIRDS

Qualified 3rd in stk, finished 5th, got beat up the first few laps, qualified 5th in 5800BL and finished 3rd. Cinncy is a great SB warmup track, high grip, right length. There were people there from at least 10 states. They stayed open till midnight Friday for practice, opened at 7:00am. I slept a lot today. Next even will have practice Friday/Qual Sat/ Mains SUnday. Motel 6 was only $33 minutes away. Pitted with Ernie/Ulbricks/Zubak, good fun too. Frankie told me he couldn't get you to go out on the town with him in Ft Wayne?!! Whats up with that Mr Party animal?

let me tell u the real story! the night we were goin to go out, i ran early because my car sucked, and of course frankie was flyin. so ran last. by the time i was ready to leave they were just runnin, since my car was junk i was in a crapy mood. they made it sound like all they wanted to do was go to showgirls, i had other things on my mind(u can only guess) i was on the town but not showgirls. lol.

I'm glad I'm not the only one that saw it pass tech. Is VW racing on the 30th? I've got time off of work that week so I can make the trip over. Any roof height rules? Or can I run my slammed MC?

whats up Z. good racin with ya last sun. we are runnin the 30th. the doors open at 6. ill b there around 5 if u want to get there early. racin starts at 8, 2heats and a main. take 30 into ohio and get off on 127 south, when u get to main street take a left and were down the rd half a block on the right beside dry cleaners, u will c the sign. as far as set up goes run just a little lighter on the right side front that u did at the fort and u will b pretty close. roll out is 10 - 15 # less than fort. say if u run 195 rollout at the fort u will b 180 at vw. we dont get anal about roof height. just keep it close, just for fun remember. hope to see ya, merry christmas, round up some other guys i will guarentee u wont be let down, our facility is top notch! :thumbsup:

C3 or Tom, any of you want to go to that brushless race in Illinois on the 25 and 26th of Feb? I want to go but I'd like to go with a group. They're only take 60 entries and its filling up quick. I'm still trying to make it on the 30th to run stock and brushless.

Let me see how things work out, I'm interested, I know I'm going to Cinncy in mid Jan. They had a good stock/5800 BL turnout a couple of weeks ago and this next one will be huge, Snowbirds warmup. What is the drive time to the event from Toledo?

The brushless race is in Rochester, Illinois. Just east of Springfield but it looks like all the entries are filled. I'm going to try making the warm up in Cincy. There is also a big brushless race in Elkhart on the 21st of Jan. If enough show up and want to run, I'll run 19 or stock there also but looking for close to 30 or more brushless cars though.

Now that the birds hav come and passed, curious on gettin some 4 cell guys (stock) rounded up for some friday night oval racin at Vanwert speedway. we run touring stock, Stadium class, yes indoor jumps, and it is rad, 4 cell stock, anything u got bring it! we start runnin at 8 on fridays and doors open around 6, we are always open to see some new faces, this track caters to all, several had said one of the nicest facilitys they hav seen! our track can use all the support, we can get. 120 ft oval, please let me know if u guys are intersted, we r workin on a trophy race very soon, so come up and experience the place before we hav it. thanks for all u guys 4 your support, on helpin our track.
