Hey sorry smoke the in laws didn't have a scanner like I thought they did and this is my first day back to work to get to this scanner. I have a link on our webpage http://www.geocities.com/vanwertraceway/main if you look to the right and down a little you will see a PURPLE link that will take you to the flyer so you can print it off if you want. Sorry about the delay smoke. I will see if I can get one on here yet today.

ok here it is but it is shrunk down so much that I don't think you will be able to read anything. So to read the full flyer go to http://www.geocities.com/vanwertraceway/flyer.html that is a direct link to the flyer page on our website. The last Trpohy race we had went real well Everyone seemed to have a great time and a lot of records fell. If you have any questions just post them and someone from the track will be able to answer them.

You bet Let's Get to the the top. Well it looks like a startup around the middle of September. The board of directors met last week to finalize the purchase of new race surface. Again this year we are trying to provide the best facility we can! Hope to see you all at the races this year!!!

Well it looks like a startup around the middle of September.
Is that before or after the tenth? And are you still racing 1/18th cars?

I'm asking because there's a big 1/18th bash scheduled for the 11th in LaGrange, IN, and it seemed like a good excuse to drop by. I'm a better driver now, honest!

My lord it's big! The guys at Van Wert Raceway have done it again. The walls came tumblin down and the small bullring track is no more! In the third remodeling project in three years, the crew at Van Wert Raceway have continued to make their facility one of the coolest in the state. No.... make that the country. Their newly configured track is 165ft. with around a 120ft to 130 ft runline. They have new pits, video monitoring, a great sound system, a hobbyshop, and some of the nicest and coolest racers to be had anywhere! In my 25+ years of racing I have never seen a group of guys make such an effort to provide their racers with this awsome of a facility. YOU REALLY NEED TO CHECK IT OUT! Fiday night racing, track opens at 6:00 with racing starting at 8:00. For more info call 419-232-2112 or visit the website at (see next post)

Hey guys I was want to put the word out to everyone that we are trying to get people in the region to come down to New Castle Indiana for some 4 cell mod, 19t and stock racing on Nov 6th. The track is 160 ft run line super high bite carpet and you can run paragon. The track is in the local Moose lodge so they have a bar and food on site, even a waitress too! There are already guys coming from Wisconsin, Ohio, and Kentucky. This is a one day show and we are thinking about going to Cincinati on Sunday to race on the new track they have down there. If you are interested check out the posts on here for the track in New Castle Indiana. Hope to see some of you there.

Track is huge. I may have to put a good motor in my truck this year :D .

frdsrul
10-15-2004, 02:05 PM
yeah papa I think I you could even handle a mod in a stadium truck now. Maybe not, but there is only one way to find out. I guess I have a motor change to do tonight. Oh by the way you may want to stiffen your shocks now and put some blue tires on before coming up because the track has SUPER traction and greens on a stadium truck get ripped up quick (trust me I know "parts are parts")
