Well Richard C. set TQ and won the A-Main,it was a little chilly but we had a great time under the lights.There were several new bodies out last night. Chris F. set TQ in trucks and won also.Hope to see you guys from Ga. and Jacksonville at the track sometime.

What is the schedule like for the rest of the year? Give dates and times please. We want to get back down there very soon. I will be changing our schedule next season to make it easier to get down even more so let Scott know we will be moving to the 2nd and 4th weekend of the month for the 2004 season. We will be racing the 7th and the 21st of December to finish up the year. Starting in January we will be running the the 11th and 25th.

We were not fast at all, looked liked we were all in 6's or low 7's for some,but there was only two 6 second laps ran all night,one by Richard and one by me in the truck.Me and Richard both ran 41 laps in a heat race but he won the Main with 40 laps.I broke in the car main,and started with a broken t-plate LOL (to cold to change it)in the truck main...Chris won that one,while I finished 2nd doing donuts on the straightaways..We had fun,wish you guys would have made it..


I would contact Scott on the schedules, I myself would like for you guys to start a little sooner,because it is a long haul back and it is late when we would get back and then we have to be at work Monday morning.

Can't say I'll make it on the 11th. I'll be at MinnReg running on rug getting ready for Birds. Thought I'd drive down Sunday to see this new track. I think I saw it on the right side of 301 when I was going to Clearwater for the Turkey Shoot. Is this a CAP or FOAM track?

Joe, this track has been around as long as ours or longer. It's about 15 minutes south of lake city, I can't remember the road. It's hard to find the first time though so call and get good directions

Btw this is a cap track and it's bumpy enough to give it some character. They have a good bunch down there and the track is fun

It is a little bumpy,but it is exciting.There is a great group of guys there and the ones that come from Ga..

We have 2 classes, nascar stock 4 cell and nastruck stock 4 cell.
We encourage the racers to be there before 11:00a.m. and
we start racing at 12:00p.m..No ROAR membership required.$10 dollar entry fee for each class.Hobby store @ the track open on racedays..

RULES

Nascar stock- cap tires,wing mounted,27 turn stock motor,any gear,Nascar body,4 cell batterys.Yes you can run the Binary Stock Motor.

Nastruck stock-cap tires,no wing,27 turn stock motor,any gear,Nastruck body,190mm truck body allowed,has to have spoiler,4 cell.

The track is located off of 41 on 61st street,a dirt road..

Joe are you refering to the gokart track in Starke? Its the one you can see from 301 and its just a litle bigger than hw. And to get to where these other directions will lead you to this track go west on I-10 to exit 324(us-90)west into lake city then take sr-247 into branford then follow the provided map. The track used to be dirt years ago and some of the people including Scott and his wife have been up here to race.

Racing on sundays and every sunday? Do tell what is the setup for stock gearing and such. As a truck driver I used to pick up pinestraw from just south of the intersection of 247 and 129 at the green(cant remember the name) warehouse. I think I can find Scotts track too. I always wondered where it was. It'd be nice to put faces with these screen names. Also as a cap track, are foams competitive or are caps a must have?[SIZE=1][SIZE=1][SIZE=1]

caps, surface is rough with alot of grip. foams would not last to long

yea, no go on the foams. Greens on the right reds on the left, full stagger is what I run. The track is 285 in the runline and I think the record is in the 46 in 5 minutes range. Jerry is the only one who knows for sure

Me and tim have been talking about coming down and running with yall maybe the 11th would be a good time if everyone from ga is coming down ,, might have to get with wade and follow him in from valley.

i raced at brandford one time before about 6 to 7 years ago and had a good time but i dont really remember how to get there.

After $50 bucks for a new power supply from a neighbor I got my computer back up.:)
