I would say from HW to Branford,would take around 1hour 1/2 - 2hours to arrive.
And 10:00 o'clock should give you 2-3 runs before the heats. :thumbsup:

Guys I really want to come and run on the 22'nd but as one who really pushed for sunday racing at hobby world I feel somewhat obligated to race there. Several racers have stated they want some asphalt/foam tire practice(it's really the big track :tongue: )and with daytona coming up jax may be the big ticket.

Since Scott's has an actual schedule instead of an "we're supposed to race" deal there'll be other days for me to visit. This is only coming from me and the other guys may still come down. Take it easy on them first time cap tire drivers.

I have'nt raced on caps since about 92 or 93 and I'm really looking forward to it. I'll feel privledged to leave some of my "BUTTS" decals wedged in the outside wall. :eek:

I will not be in Daytona,hopefully next year.
But I think, Wade,Richard,Willis,Jerry,and Jason are the ones that I think are going.

I was going to run 4-cell stock or Spec if there were enough people. Turns out, HW is running on the same day and EVERYONE is coming there to race due to the fact Daytona is coming next month and it is asphault. Decisions decisions. I think I'm going to have to bail on Branford this time like everyone else who first said they were coming with me. Sorry I won't make it out there, I really want to see HW as busy as it appears its going to be. Can't turn down a packed home court advantage! Track records will fall with warm temps, can't wait.

I will try and make it out to Branford soon. Hopefully with a few more jax racers.

I tried to get folks to come out but, all of sudden, BANG, we've got racing here on the 22nd. Perhaps we can alternate our Sunday racing with your schedule in the future. That way we can all go back and forth. I'll be out there soon though. Still working on getting some caps.

Take 247 (Branford HWY),take it till you get to the remodeled Jiffy Store, just inside of Beachville with the flashing light,Take a left there that should be 49. Go to the 2nd dirt road on the right 264th st.,take the 1st dirt road on left 61st street and go down about a 1/4 mile on the left you will see the RC sign on the fence,on the left, turn in their,track is in the back..

The new Directionaal signs to the track were great and the board for the transponders and heat sheets was a nice addition. Thanks to Greg for his craftsmanship.
New drivers stand is working out good along with the roof on it . Now if we can get rid of that slick spot coming out of 4 :roll:

Well I decided at the last moment to stay and race with the guys over here so we could talk about the situation that occured saturday afternoon and the near future plans of racing at hw, Atleast as far as we racers are concerned.

Whats the sunday schedule for Scotts? I really would like to see opposing weekends(hw changing their schedule not yours) so the guys that want to can run at either track. Originally the every other sunday deal was supposed to be just for the colder months but they continued to race every friday night too so it cut down on each days turnout. Now within a month or two the weather will start warming up and I and alot of others would like to see us race hw atleast one sunday a month.

I am coming to branford, It's a when not an if deal. I'm looking forward to it. Do you guys(and Amanda :cool: )allways run the 3 lap qualifier? That looks like fun too.

yea the reason we start when we do is because one of the guys who has raced with us from the start lives an hour and a half away and goes to church, so we wait for him as we should. After all he and Donnie have been with us for the past 12 years

looking for a 47 lap run the next time in branford. it can be done.

I might see 47laps in a 6 min race :lol:
