mr scott says we are back on regular sunday schedule that has never changed in 20 years.
it has allways been every other sunday unless we are rained out, then we race 3 weekends in a row to get back on schedule. we don't know where you got that schedule?

That was the schedule that was made up by him (Mr.Scott) I beleive to work around the Echeconnee schedule,I did not make it up,lol. It was to help out with the driver/drivers in the points race up there and for them to make our races from my understanding.

After calling Mr.Scott he told me he is going back to our regular schedule.

cliff, are you running next week? if not we are back on alternate weekends is that not true? every time we have a 5 sunday month the schedules work out,

Willis, we run this Sunday then we run again Nov 7th, then again on the 28th. The reason our points race is on the first weekend instead of the second is becaus of the race in Pooler on the 13th and 14th. I hope you will try to make it as well. The last scheduled race of the year will be Dec 12th when points series trophys will be awarded. Any races from then until April will be by notice only depending on the weather.

wade and i are going together to save gas and motel costs,

to pooler. may have to make p-u run to your track instead of trailers.
will see what happens.

Kevin I thought the schedule was changed all around this summer when we were running Sat. nights, my understanding was back to every other Sunday once we finished night racing (or in my case blackout racing) We have always stuck to every other Sunday, makes it easy , sometimes it conflicts with Cliff but it always comes back around about the time We say "hey we haven't been to Cliff's lately" or he says " hey we finished our points series and are ready to travel again" Also makes it easier for the out-of towners who say " is Branford running this Sunday?" Well we didn't run last Sunday so yes we are running this Sunday....or well we ran last Sunday so no we are not running this Sunday. Just seems easier all the way around. When I'm making my scedule at work I'm not looking on the internet for a schedule I just look at the calender and count every other Sunday BA- BING I know when Branford is racing. When my wife asks are you racing this Sunday SHE ain't waiting for me to check the web.

1. Do you know why the schedule was orginaally set-up on alternating Sundays?
2. Can you tell me what year the oval track was changed from asphalt to concrete?
3. What year did Branford run its 1st and only Summer points series? Complete with Trophies,Barbacue, and pictures in the paper.

Its an indoor asphalt oval an on-road .The track should be around 240 run line. We haven't laid it out exact yet. It has plenty of power outlets. The sportsman class is more like or novice.It will be great to meet all of you guys when you come up.

Wade there are no "facts" on pooler. It's a new set up and nobody has ever run on it. We already have reservations for that weekend. Andy, Donnie, Sammy and I are for sure going and Rod Jacobs may go as well. Old racing partner of mine talked me into going up to Savanah this weekend to help him with his dirt latemodel, we happened to stay at a hotel near 95 on 80 in Pooler. I didnt get much time to look around but did notice a Flea market that appeared to be closed but had some fellas working inside. Is this were the race will be held? its about halfway between 95 and the Ogelthorpe Speedway near a amusement park. lookin forward to this race just hope I can figure out the foam tire deal.
BTW, my bud managed to finish 5th with a thread bare RR tire in the 150 lap Shoot out on the Coast at OSP, not bad for a guy running the series part time with a pick up crew and using his own dime :thumbsup:
